The photo was taken yesterday evening of a dead body which was dumped by the water around the Post Office in Lekki. LAWMA officials have been made aware but are taking their time to remove it. This post is to attract LASG's attention in the interest of public safety and so the man, who is well dressed, gets a decent burial.

More photos here: http://www.jtownconnect.com/2016/06/photos-dead-body-found-in-lekki-phase.html
Lekki of all places, Lagos claiming Mr Excellence.......It means if Lagos could be as dirty as that picture portrays then ......Wonder when Naija city water front will be like the visiting countries counterpart.....I saw pics of London floods and was moved to make research of flood from other westerns and middle east places and find out that their water bodies are always clean in the verge of flood apart from India that look like the one i saw now in Lekki....it shows how dirty the dwellers and government insensitive to environment is.......The other day i was passing on slaughter bridge en-route to Odili road in PH and is like a norm every morning seeing all this Abokis in troupes pushing their trucks and park neatly to emptied waste into water bodies at reckless abandon, i shake my head and see why decent people prefer being slave in foreign land than being in a place where your voice against certain act is not heard.....3rd world is a big mountain to climb....God have mercy and change mentality of people not to wait for law enforcement before they become the true change we deserve

PoliticsRe: Kachikwu Vs Amaechi: I Disagree With Kachikwu, Retrieve Money First by lexyclasy: 3:03pm On Jun 14, 2016
TheGoodJoe:
I watched the Kachikwu vs Amaechi video going viral online and I see majority supporting Kachikwu's point. Continuing the project.

I disagree because the Fraud is too much. Hon. Amaechi proved in Rivers State that he can achieve befitting projects when he has the money.

Hon. Amaechi’s point:
"I am not against the University. I hope you people appreciate that. My argument about Okerenkoko is that the land alone is N13 billion. That N13 billion has built the university already so there is no need to spend more money. Let EFCC retrieve the money from them and then release them and we would build the University."

I do not understand what is wrong in this statement. The money is enough to purchase the land and build the University. The point is clear. Continuing with the project means supporting a monumental fraud.

Hon. Kachikwu's point:
“First let me say on Maritime University, I disagree with the minister of transport. Any facility that is placed in the south south, we should work towards developing it. I don’t care the circumstances under which we are placed… It is not my position to determine whether land was valued at N19 billion or N10 billion or N3 billion. The appropriate institutions which are the court systems will determine that."

I do not understand what people are applauding in this statement. Is Hon. Amaechi against the Maritime University? No. Amaechi clearly stated that when he retrieves the money, he will build the University.

Kachikwu said he is not in position to determine the valuation of the land. Please, this is ridiculous. We ars talking of the valuation of the project.

Amaechi is saying that the money is enough to buy the land and build the university. A minister should be able to value a project.

Amaechi was right and I wonder why people is celebrating Kachikwu's point. This is a case of stopping a fraud. Going on with the project is detrimental to the development of the project.

Below are pics of an Hon. Amaechi project which was close to the cost for just the land for this University project. Golf Estate Port-Harcourt.
Why did you bring up this piece of thrash.....let me help you a bit.....the golf estate you are talking about at the end of Odili road round about adjacent o slaughter and abuloma road was financed by first bank ok and resold to interested buyers...is not financed by state fund always verify your claims

Adekorya:
Can't you argue without not bringing Yoruba into your argument, what happen to 13% oil derivation your government are receiving as oil producing state, abi it's Yoruba that are spending the money?

You people always attack Yoruba as if we are the one reaping all the benefit of oil in your state. And in case you don't know, Yoruba states are among the states that are receiving lowest allocation from the FG (excluding Ondo which also server as oil producing state). Despite this, we are the most peaceful of all regions in Nigeria, North are terrorizing Nigeria with their Boko haram, South.S/South.E are doing their own with militancy and secession issue. Lagos arguably the most developed state in Nigeria is striving on her internal revenue and not oil money, Fourth mainland bridge that will cost billions of naira is on the shoulder of the state with zero assistance from outside the state . And you still have the gut to say West never want your region to develop angry.

And if you think NDA are fighting for majority interest, you're wrong because their are just another Tompolo and Asari Dokubo in making. Their leaders will later become billionaire while you supporting their rich course will not benefit anything from their wealth.
You mess up your statement by bringing up Lagos....this same Lagos you are talking about was developed through the proceeds of the South south resources...as the former nations capital still stand to enjoy the facilities left behind so don't tell me after relocating to Abuja they relocate the federal government facilities to embassies infrastructures and all the fed presence are now boosting Lagos and will remain so.....13% shared by 9states is not measured up to half of what Lagos was receiving from gov. purse....stop telling us this craps.....Abuja, Kano, Ibadan, Lagos, Kaduna & Ogun benefited more than the entire South south...we are not fools so stop making noise here....tell your war lord to consider the resolution of the 2014 national confab adopted by entire Nigerians....it will help us more than divide and rule of 97% vs 5%....every zone need to be honored and carried along ....apply federal character in appointments...ok....stop crying more than the bereaved.....seen nothing yet...Ahmed Joda, Tanko Abdulahi, El Rufai, Sanusi and your bleep Tinubu are happy now

well this is getting out of hand
the army seems quite over this, so too are the oil companies, no one is confirming this attacks, undecided
If we want regional let PDP the south dominate initiate it in the national assembly the let's see who will reget it
I foresee a situation were the northern region will tax the food send to the southern region to get revenue, the south south taxing goods imported through her ports
They best placed are the West, the have access to the ocean and very good land for farming
The south East my people will be at the disadvantage, they will lose trillions of investments outside the south East and we don't have enough land to farm, even our oil and gas will be taxed by the south south if it is to pass through there lands for export
The best option remains sticking together

As for this unscrupulous elements called the avengers, there is no excuse for taking up arms against the supreme authority and sooner or later u will face the law... Boko haram did worse, we're are they now??
You are the worst analyst i have ever seen on the surface of the earth......it seems you don't understand the tax system...did you get the food stuff free , it should interest you to know that customers are king...you use your money to get what you want....and for your information SS is rich in everything.....rubber, palm produce, cassava, vegetables, and so many other crops....so nobody is an island ok.....deal with the issue on ground and stop spewing thrash like the SWEETMELON.....we need to discuss Nigeria NOBODY IS BORN TO RULE.......this are the issues on ground....We need true federalism.....and implementation of federal character system....a reasonable government can give that to their citizen without blinking eyes...unless there is a hidden agenda yet to know.....stop being faster than your shadows......

copley:
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Wednesday, commended all the governors of the old eastern region, including Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for their achievements within the last one year.

The leadership of the Ohanaeze Youth Council stated that the Governors deserved commendation for delivering the dividends of democracy to their people since their assumption of office in the last one year.

The ‎group further disclosed that after a poll it conducted as part of its democracy day assessment, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state emerged as the overall best performing newly elected Governor in Igboland.

The poll, according to them, covered such areas as infrastructures, security, education, health, transparency in governance, youth and women empowerment and participation in government and other vital indices.

The chairman of the screening committee of the poll, Mazi Okemiri Alex congratulated all the Governors and noted that all of them were winners in their own respect.

He noted that the group will also announce the best performing Igbo lawmaker by June.

While extolled other Igbo Governors, the group commended Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state “for personally constructing a befitting Secretariate for Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a rare feat in the annals of Igbo history.”

The group also urged the Governors to support the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo led by Chief Gary Igariwey in their bid to pilot the affairs of Ndigbo.

They also called for the building of an “IGBO HALL OF FAME AND CENOTAPH” by other Igbo Governors at the Secretariate to complement the effort of Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

The group also noted that they had set up an Igbo Vigilant Group, IVG, to tackle the security challenges in Igboland.

They called on the governors and other good spirited individuals to support the group‎.

I don't think you are Yoruba so you will not understand. From days of old, hunters in Yoruba land were also the Special Forces Police and Army rolled in one. They know their duty and don't mess around. If you read the article well, you will see that Fayose commissioned them to attack only those who attacked the community; and not to go around attacking every random Fulani they see. The instruction is quite clear enough. Once again, go read about Agbekoya before you respond to me any further.
