New Afro-fusion sensation Chif is excited to declare the drop of his much-anticipated brand-new debut single BASELINE available on all streaming platforms, on Monday, June, 1st 2020.

Baseline is a beautiful song written under the influence of love and lust. “you know how sparks fly when you meet a very attractive woman and you just know, she is the one; right?”. Chif’s sound is very melodic, soothing, and generally just positive vibes while he hides a deeper message behind his lyrics.  The lyrics of the song also depicts how he’s an upcoming artist today but tomorrow he would be one of the biggest artists Africa has ever seen, building a relationship with him now would give his fans exclusive access to him and his content first.

Originally born as Chifulumunanya Tony-Muoh, with the stage name Chif. Chif is a Nigerian afro beats artist, songwriter & producer. He started making music professionally in 2020. Before this, he attended University in the UK where he found his passion for art. After his degree, he moved back home, in Lagos, Nigeria; to face his dream of becoming the biggest artist in Africa.  Chif describes his sound as Afro-fusion. A blend of different genres of music with an underlying sound of afrobeat. He said, “I am a product of my experiences and surroundings, and my music is a product of me.” He credits/PROCLAIMS his unique sound is due to the level of his exposure and the internet. Chif’s direct influences musically are Burnaboy and Fela Kuti. He describes his style as calm melodies and vibes but energetic. Hiding a deeper message in his lyrics.

One of the advantages is that it gives self-encouragement like I know I'm pretty because if not why would they be so focused on me.

Also, it is also a great opportunity to work on my body.
Some of the disadvantages is not getting paid, being treated like an item instead of a human being, constant casting and constant rejection, and no stable income.

Where do you see yourself in the next few years?

I see myself all over the world, my face on billboards, magazines, television.

What is your advice for upcoming Models?

My advice for them is to encourage the word NO cause they are going to be getting that word a lot but keep it at the back of their mind that someday, one gracious day they are going to get the casting of their dreams and always chin up with their head up high. They should have no negative thoughts, be prayerful, and keep moving forward.

Are you also a graphics designer?

Yes and a front end web designer

What brought the idea of changing/adding backgrounds to tweeps pictures on Twitter?

I don't know, in real life I discover I love twisting what people say, to get a different meaning from what they say.

Did you find it funny or you just do it make fun of people?

I don't want to make fun of people, I find the captions funny, and laugh hard before hitting my Retweet

Have you ever been attacked by tweeps for those tricky Photoshop you do?

Nope, in fact, we end up becoming friends, they just slide into my Dm's and make funny threat's about catching and beating me up

What's the favourite photo you've ever edited? And why did you think it's the best out of all the ones you've done?

The girl I gave a handle, I love that because people could easily relate to it and it was really funny at moment, and also when I started the Mbah head trend and the whole of twitterNG followed after the red flag trend

I can't handle twitter again pic.twitter.com/14KkwBxfQp

Would you prefer to work for companies or work individually on graphics design?

I prefer working for myself, I don't like people bossing me about.

There are other people that do what you're doing but what makes you the "King Of Photoshop?"

Maybe because I don't stress myself based on how many likes I get on that post, I just photoshop and post what I like and when I feel like and yes Because my works are never predictable.

What are the qualities a great graphic designer should have?

A good graphic designer should and must be able to acknowledge that, he's not the best, and that he/she must learn from others too.

Are you willing to help people know more about graphics or Photoshop? If yes, how do you intend to help them?

I am working on my youtube channel where I can help people learn how to edit photos using their phones and laptop

Is it only Photoshop you use to edit pictures or there are other software that you use?

Funny thing is, I use my phone to make all that photo editing I do.

How many years have you been a graphics designer? Do you find it adventurous?

I just started last year, when I thought it was lit to make my own comics.

Apart from deriving joy from the editing of pictures, what are the other things you do to catch fun?

I watch movies, draw comic book series, eat food and study programing language

Where do you see yourself in few years?

I can't say for now but I'm expecting greater things

Sports / Meet Olawale Adeyeye; The Twitter User That Rebranded NFF Logo In A Special Way by Lexzai: 9:56am On Nov 08, 2019
Olawale Adeyeye hails from Gbongan, Osun State. The professional graphics designer studied Physics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
You might be wondering why He featured on today's episode, He's the man behind the viral tweet of NFF Unofficial Rebranded Logo.
The designer whose love for reading, designing and learning new stuff makes him think outside the box to do new things. In an exclusive interview with Abayomi Adekunle, he talked about the motivation behind the NFF rebranded logo and his next moves. Enjoy!

What originally made you become a graphic designer?
I didn't actually go seeking it out. As an undergraduate, I took a picture one day and I wanted to remove a pimple from my face because it was ruining my picture.

How do you think social media and online courses have influenced the graphic design being produced today?
Social media changed how design is because of the ease it spread information with pictures and videos getting more engagement than just text hence the need for designers to create eye-catching designs that will captivate the target audience.

Apart from graphic design, what are you passionate about?
Football.

Are you willing to work under any organization/company if job opportunities come through or you want to stay independent?
I've been chanced to work with a couple of companies and the experience has been pivotal in helping me reach the level I am now. I'm always open to job opportunities that'll allow me to network with other creatives.

That made me get Photoshop. When I successfully did that, I knew there was more to the app and decided to learn more about it. That opened up a whole new world to me and I haven't looked back since.

How many years have you been into graphics design?
Been into graphic designing for 5 years plus now.

What type of design or project do you like working on the most?
Sport-related designs. Football related ones to be precise because of my love for the game.

Hello. I created an unofficial rebrand for @thenff

Kindly retweet and share your view on the project. Thanks.

THREAD!#Nigeria #Rebrand #SuperEagles #Nff #Logo #graphicdesigner pic.twitter.com/eJAqDsz5m7

— Olawale (@TheWalePeters) September 9, 2019

What motivated you to design the new logo for NFF and what steps have you taken to get in touch with NFF?
I accidentally stumbled upon the logo one day and did some research on it. I found out it had never been updated. I decided to redesign it keeping all the current properties. Also, I noticed that the NFF handle on Twitter doesn't put out quality content on our matchdays and I decided to contribute my quota by designing a rebrand free of charge.

I got a few connects to mail the design to the current minister of youth and sport. I can't tell if he got it but I plan to follow up pretty soon.

Who has been your source of inspiration so far and why?
I can't point to a single source because inspiration comes from various places such as previous designs, Behance, Pinterest, and songs that are capable of setting moods.

With your professionalism in graphic design, where do you see yourself in a few years?
I believe I still have a long way to go to consider myself a professional but I do see myself working with a team of creatives at my startup in a few years' time.

Looking at how plagiarism has taken over social media, how do you plan on monetizing your designs or you've done that already?
Yes, plagiarism has become the order of the day hence I create designs on request for brands that pay when I am not practicing and honing my skills.
