Wonder peeps d concluding part of our testimony goes thus;
When my wife was explainin ow we met she mentioned we v bin frnds on Facebook bf and we were lucky to v printed out d chats we had dating back to 2011. She showed him wen he wus askin ow we met n repeatn d question all ova. Good pipo ov nairaland the CO opened my wifes FB wall n mine, he later asked me if ds is me on a printed sheet wich my FB wall was on. I ans Yes n was stunned. Al d birthday picture n weddn pictures we posted on FB was printed out. I m not a FB person so d pix I had on FB wansnt mach tk God for my wife who posted most of d pix n she also bears my Family name on FB.

I don't knw why our interview went lik dat may b cs we were quite yung. After al d drilling n all. We were so exhausted n I was cold cos arund 4pm d hall was almst empty. I felt dy would put us on AP but to God be d glory @ about 4.30pm we were d last set of pipo in d hall jst me n my wife. Al other windows were closed d CO called us n he brought two white sheet n told us to pick d visa up. My wife hugged me with tears n I alst did d same but as a man I held it back. We were so api we jst stepped out ASAP n forgot to collect our NPC n my wifes result plus marriage cert. We went back for d docs today n picked it up.

Prayer is the key even with al docs pls focus on God. USA here we come! I and my wife cnt wait to land in Chicago. Praise God!

Interview experience
I and my wife got to d embassy arund 5.50 and after a while we were told to file accordingly, non immigrant n immigrants separately. Well u nid to see ow nigerian s can b orderly. After d security checks and all we were finally ushered in. Pls note no mobile devices or gadgets allowed or lip stick nor makeup. Its jst u n ur "eleda" if u knw wt m talkn about. Arund 8.30 therebout d interview started n immigrants got visas easyly compared to non immigrants. Pls dunt forget d receipt of payment is imprt n d small blue card. Do not misplace dem cs we couldn't find our n d CO had to help us print again but was quite scary. Later found it wen we got home tho. Our interview started arund 11. 30am at window 16 by d elderly CO. Dat dude is well trained guys. Asked us to swear n sign our forms. Later on he asked me to go n sit.

He call me to and asked al ds questions also with d weddn album. Askn me to show him my parents n who was d guys behind me durin traditional marriage.
Asked whr we wnt for honey moon, for ow long n whr we stayed n pictures
I lasted for bout 45mins. Wit d dude o.
He later said he wil call us. We wnt to sit. And my wifes name was announced dt she shuld come to window 8.
Window 8 is lik a small room n yu cnt see d CO frm outside. Peeps she wus drilled for over 2 hrs dt I needed to ask d security guys to help me check cs I vnt seen er. Ds wuz arund 3.30pm. Shortly afterwards she came out n said she was drilled n told me sometins. D black nigerian CO inside with her came to peeps frm anoda window when she came to call me n accused er of talkn to me n she said she said sometn else o. I enter into d hot room too n wuz drilled.

I thank d good Lord for me and my wife, we had a successful interview today. It wasn't easy I won't lie but tk God for nairaland n what we v learnt ere. At d d end we were given d two white papers for visa collection and greencard payment fee. Full gist later peeps. Praise the Lord

Congratulation I will approve ur visa.I witnessed 3 visa denial,couples were favored today.the female CO at window16 granted a visa within 2min.

owobabaisabella: Once again we give all the glory unto God. We got to the embassy by 6:30am, we met one lady there for crew visa for Britain airways and so many policemen n women cos of the Boston bomb blast. We enter d embassy by 7:15am n do the normal security checks. Then after went into d main building where d woman check our interview letter send to US by d embassy n give us I901 as our nos. So we went to d interview hall. By 8:15am our nos was called for submitting our documents, devil want to use d woman but our God have settled it since so we were not worry about what she said that she won't collect our AOS, because it was scan copy not a posted copy. She later said our bank statement is ok for us. She was friendly with my daughter and I went to pay £600 for d 3 of us. By 10am, our nos was called @window 15 were we met one nice guy. Our interview lasted just 5mins which I always prayed for.

Gentiger: When going for your interview, there's no harm in going with EVERYTHING you got. Leave nothing to chances. If you got 2 WAEC results, present the best and keep the other as a backup. Always be ready to defend yourself with documentary proof. That's a major secret to visa interview success.

guys wat Gentiger jst said is xo true, documentary proof is wt yu need n dts wt dey want o n wit Gods help. Leave no chances pls. Do d affidavit for DOB incase. 9ce 1 dere Gentiger.

Yusmash00: To my understand, You re not good to go with the E8 in English. If you still have the other Waec certificate with you, You can go and do Affidavit for the incorrect DOB on it. So you will go with Waec certificate and the affidavit. Gurus, Correct me if im wrong oo.

adzovia: i got the shock of my life when i went to pick the mail today and i saw my name on one of the envelopes. i was expecting my ssn since i was told to wait for 21 days. i opened the envelope low and behold it is my green card. people my permanent residence card came even before my ssn. i am soo happy. the battle is over i am now officially a permanent resident with proof

I'll furthermore appreciate the designer of NAIRALAND- MR SEUN for this wonderful trend that's meant to put forumist thru in the realization of their AMERICAN DREAMS and consequently putting smiles on our faces. TO ALL HOUSE MEMBER, temmytanny, gentiger and others too numerous to mention, THANKS FOR THE KNOWLEDGE U'VE INSTILLED IN ME THAT HAS IN NO SMALL MEASURE ENSURED OUR SUCCESS @ THE INTERVIEW. I might av been a silent forumist but believe u me, i followed every page of this trend on a per second basis *smiles* and only comment wen d need be. TO PPL GOING 4 THEIR INTERVIEWS, if u're lucky not to fall in window 16, then congrat but if a bit unlucky like me, let me again stress d principles of beating the CO @ window 16. 1. Adequate preparation both in educational and personal question. 2. Eye Contact thru out d interview 3. Rapid answers wit no element of unnecessary pause 4. Gesticulation play an important role too. 5. Be bold and confident in answering her question. 6. Technical terms and formulas will go a long way, i talked more of technical terms and mechanical formulas till she was lost and tired of asking more questions. 7. Go wit all document even if they are not dat relevant and keep them in another envelop cuz it helped me as i printed out our bank statements of 2009 and 2010 that showed different transactions of money we sent to each other way back in sch. 8. For married couples, say d truth and nothing butd truth not minding how embarrassing d situation dat surrounded ur answers might be. I FEEL OUR INTERVIEW WAS A BIT TOUGH CUZ I ENTERED AS SINGLE BUT GOT MARRIED BEFORE D RESULT CAME OUT AND HAD TO ATTACH MY WIFE SO D NECESSITY OF HAVING TO PROVE D AUTHENTICITY OF MY MARRIAGE. WAS ASKED SO MANY QUESTIONS DAT I COULDN'T POST CUZ THEY'RE PERSONAL BUT WHAT HELP WAS DAT I AND MY WIFE HAD A LONG TIME(4YRS) COURTSHIP AND SO WE WERE FOND OF EACH OTHER. wat shuld b d explanation for the DOB of WAEC not corresponding with wats with the application. cs DOB of WAEC is wrong n cnt seem to change it

pls house is it safe to present jst GCE with 5 credits and uni cert. DOB on WAEC doesnt correspond with wat was applied with(mistake) so as not contradict i feel GCE is better to present. any suggestion pls. tks peeps
