so how many people have been here or intend to go? If you live around and haven't been what are your reasons? |
Today Sunday my tour guide at Erin Ijesha is telling us the story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wFabcDPQ0k |

IcemanP:thanks for the feedback |
Kenny thank you so much for your feedback. You are right we already have such a huge movie industry in Nigeria I wonder why they don't shoot movies outdoor in such locations. Maybe because they don't have the storyline for it. kenny714433: |
Cousin9999:building the cheap ? what happened the last time a building collapsed? what were the causalities involved? Whilst you are right about Airbnb - security, value and service level including safety of the structure in question should be one of the major things to consider before venturing into such a business |
meobizy:lol I will at some point oh abeg. My multitasking is not that advance yet abeg |
Hey enjoy your trip. I was in uyo last year i loved it. Here is my playlist on things you can do in Abuja https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLafFJOEITCSxOflT-HhWvavr8X45wqaQd |
I always wanted to learn Spanish but till today I don't speak more than a few words of Spanish. I have however learnt to speak German. I remember back in 2004 when I first arrived Nurnberg I couldn't understand why they didn't speak English. Its funny how I somehow thought that all white people should be able to speak and understand English. At first I didn't want to learn the language but I soon figured out that If I didn't want to give up my freedom of being able to speak for myself and represent myself I needed to learn the language. People often ask how long it took me to learn German, It wasn't until 2010 when I was watching an English movie where someone suddenly spoke German and I understood everything that I realized that I could totally comprehend the language. What worked for me ? I listened a lot at the beginning, I spent my time mostly with German speakers. I did 3 Language courses - the first for 4 months, and the other two for a month each. From 2011 till date my work language is German. I am still far from perfect but I enjoy connecting with other German speakers at home and abroad. |
Wow thanks for sharing I will be sure to check it out next time. I actually made a video about transportation in Nigeria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kc9g9ReowU&t= |
Firstly Obudu does not look like Europe. It looks like Nigeria with appropriate infrastructure needed to explore such a location. I do however agree with you that somehow we are hoping as Nigerian's that other people will come and visit our locations for us and suddenly they would be hyped and popular. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The domestic interest and consumption must be established in Country first, especially in the case of Nigeria as we have a lot of issues that make Nigeria less attractive for outsiders. Here is my review of the Ranch I visited last year in December - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXdPMD6vmKU&t= |
Haha its hard to mistake the pictures above for any of the cities you mentioned but i must say I was happy when I heard we now have a light rail but here is my review of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l6mY4LooWg&t= |
OPAA6:in what state/ city? |
Cousin9999:airbnb is a good option but when I searched for places to stay in Lagos it was very easy to see which ones actually got their friends to write reviews for them so that you immediately knew something must be odd about the property, I eventually stayed in one in Ikoyi and it was okay |
dingbang:unfortunately it would seem that in the budget range most people think if you aren't sleeping on the floor you should be grateful |
After staying in 17 hotels across Nigeria here is my review on budget hotels in Nigeria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYW_ms3ewuY&t= |
okay cool - let me know what your experience is when you visit |
Akamariner:thanks how often have you been to the palace and what do you think about the protocols involved in visiting it? Have you also been to the old Oyo National park? |
I actually went to the palace but the people at the entrance were really not so helpful and whilst I got some footage on the outer part of the palace - I unfortunately lost it when my computer got stolen in guinea :-( Akamariner: |
