mrjojo: In simple term, your dad failed!! There is no point crying over split milk.
You are educated, what did you study? What’s your Gpa?What phone do you use? Do you have a laptop? What do you currently do? Which area do you stay?
If you have a phone , a laptop maybe , dedicate the next 7 months and learn python like your life depends on it, heck your life and your siblings depend on it.
For daily income to survive, start a small akara frying at your junction if it relatively busy, you can learn python 6 hrs and fry akara at night.
This might not be exactly what you want to hear, you are not caused, that is a loser mindset no vez o, what do you intend to do with his GPA? |

coleon: It is because your mind is not working well and that's the only thing you can deduce from a myopic point of view. He's making a point not from the literal meaning but from a logical perspective. You cannot reach the pinnacle of your career abroad unless you are native or born there. As an immigrant, you cannot become CEO, ED,governor etc when you immigrate but you have that opportunity here as a Nigerian. i beg to disagree. Firstly, if your country is working people won't abandoned it for another country. If you're a responsible man, your woman wouldn't abandon you for another man, vice versa. Also, less than 5% of our population can afford relocation. Majority of our population cannot afford 3 square meal daily. Majority of our teeming youths are unemployed. Majority of our youths are into cyber fraud for survival. Nigerian politicians are one of the highest earner in the world, while their subjects are living in abject poverty. There are hundred of thousands of people that had turned the furtune of their lives and that of their families through relocation. If those people had chose to remain in Nigeria, majority of them if not all will be wallowing in poverty today like their counterparts in Nigeria. In today Nigeria, either you're into politics, ritualist or cyber fraudsters. Majority of the rest are living from hand to mouth. I know a family with 3 sound graduates who are unemployed, they survived through Yahoo Yahoo and the likes Your leaders are fvcking corrupt and kliptomenia in nature |

fareed69: In as much as I respect Baba Adeboye, I am against this. If he's praying for his congregation to prosper in life he shouldn't pray for downfall of someone else for his congregation to believe in him. He's not God everyone has his own destiny if they have been destined to make it in life nothing can change it. What of if the person that he's praying for there downfall is a Christian and I believe the person will have someone who attend Redeem either as a friend or as a co-worker has it not affected a member of his congregation. God is God, such prayers are uncalled for. There's nothing like Destiny. Your destiny is right in your hands. It is left to you to decide your destiny. There's nothing like someone has been destined to be rich, poor, beautiful, ugly, bla bla bla |

Unlike where u are known I agree with you to start afresh where people don't know you, but that doesn't guarantee success. Also, what if someone doesn't have anyone in the so called new environment. Expecially for a guy. How do you expect him to get accommodation and settle down? |

GRACEGLORY: It’s quite a sad experience, but that ordinance can be rewritten. Sometimes some of us finds ourselves in lineages turn down, downtrodden, cursed, and in abject poverty even before our arrival, some of us may even find ourselves in lineages blessed, merry, and well defended and rich, for some, theirs are in between. We were created for battles, and it’s because of these battles that we’ve been born. The battle may be within our household to change the foundation, it may even be against the nation that we were born in, it may even be to resolve chaos in another country. But one thing is certain, by whom or those were born, the country or race is no mistake.
We are all born warriors to destroy what the enemy had done, doing or plans to do. YOU ARE A WARRIOR.
We be born into a family or lineage that bears a curse, all we need to do is switch foundations. These are spiritual truths. For the spiritual controls the physical. There are spiritual foundations.
2 Timothy 2:19 But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it.
One of the wonderful truths of Scripture is found in Romans 8:1: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (That is, those whose foundations are changed to Christ’s).
Seek Jesus and you’d be exempted.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. How many Nigerians has these save from poverty? Has it save you, neighbors, Families? |

Johnson5258: I don't understand what you are saying, the same students protesting here have the money to further their education abroad, paying heavily and boosting other countries economy, if their parent can afford abroad school fees then they should adjust to this one too, after all you don't want the government to borrow. stop writing rubbish. How many students can afford schooling abroad? Less than 2%. How many Nigerians can even afford 3 square meal daily in your emilokan government? |

Throwback: I like the direction you are going and it is not an argument.
Please what is the average salary of a college teacher in the UK versus the £9000 the child has to pay as local student school fees every session? Many don't earn up to £4000 per month on jobs are are way above entry level.
Then compare that percentage to what the average salary of a public servant secondary school teacher in Nigeria versus the N150K being lamented about or the N400k I have even suggested.
Do we arrive at a fair percentage in Nigeria compared to the UK analysis?
Because one thing I know is that £9000 is not a salary many make in the UK even in 2months on very well paying public service jobs.
Many Nigerian civil servants with kids old enough for university education earn more than N200k per month, so why is N150K university session fees a big deal? only civil servant around level 15 above earn over 200k and such civil servant must have spent nothing less than 28-30 years in service. I personally know civil servant on level 16 earning 256k monthly. He literally survive on loan. Did you know the amount transportation cost eat up from the salary? Feeding alone is a problem to his family. This is someone who has spent all his productive years with government How many Nigerians had job? How many earn that compare to our massive population? We top the ladder of unemployment and poverty in the world. How many Nigerians can afford 3 square meal daily today? The masses will soon retaliate back to those politicians. It's just a matter of time |

You already made your supposedly reserved comment. And you own no one any apologies.
Is your conscience judging you? Tinubu claimed to have approved Npower beneficiaries 9 months outstanding stipend, but only one month was paid and not everyone got even the one month Tinubu approved payment of 35k for FG workers, spanning six months or thereabouts, but only one month was paid not until the outcry and callout before another one month was being paid. Making it just 2 months after several months of approval. Don't forget, not every FG workers received the payment Tinubu claimed he has approved 50% transportation cost during festive season, particularly, the Southeastern part of Nigeria. Sadly, none of my neighbors benefited from it throughout their journey to east (to and fro) The palliative given to those corrupt senators and house of rep members approved by your president, none was given to the masses in their various constituents. I wasn't surprised about this though. If they could hoard palliative given to them by the UN during covid then this should be nothing to the poor masses I can always go on and on sir |
