This is not the first time we are going through this process. PBAT swears her in on Acting capacity to avoid a vacuum. Senate is therefore confirming her. |

nairalanda1: It's not the 1960's anymore, and we are not going back to the old 4 regions.
You guys need to focus on getting your states to be productive, instead of fighting over how to share oil money with the hausas.
Same goes for the hausas.
The thing that makes me tired about most Nigerians is...ye all want to share money. Really that is what this region thing is all about. Those supporting it and those opposing it have their eyes on oil money.
And anyway, it isn't the 1960's anymore. Agric is a mess, mining probably needs a full scale army intervention to be made safe for foreign investors......and most of you are not interested in making your state produce cars, phones, televisions, computers, etc...for export. It will go by the Geopolitical Zones |

LOVEALAIGBO: NO….it’s YOU that missed the knob of my own argument! It’s either that, or you got my drift and are pretending not to owing to your own nefarious agenda!
What rubbish are you yapping about obedients? Care to flesh out the argument you’re trying to canvass?
And concerning your last paragraph….yet more conjectural clap-trap deceitfully cloaked as ‘truth and fact’! It’s either deceitfully argued, or is the result of blissful ignorance and listening too much to the Tinubu emilokan mob who’re bent on sowing seeds of ethnic discord to further their continued economic and political stranglehold of Lagos state! Who told you Ndigbo have designs on being the ones to decide who becomes Lagos state governor!? Or could it be you actually think everyone else reasons like you and has the same greed and ethnocentric inspired desire to lord over everyone else like you do!? Ndigbo have no more desires politically and economically other than the ones bestowed on them and other Nigerians by the very same constitution your ‘one Nigeria’ ilk uphold! THAT is the thrust of my argument! How did all these your grammar change what I have said. The point is that politics is local and each ethnics should be able to decide who governs them rather than Igbo mouthing how they going to capture Lagos as that Abia man boasted. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Politics Is Full Of Hypocrisy, edo Stata As Case Study by Lifestone(m): 4:21am On Sep 24, 2024 |
LOVEALAIGBO: Anybody reading the utter crap you just posted would think only the Yoruba are entitled to vote in Lagos! In Lagos, we all were witnesses to how PVC collection was frustrated in areas you saw as ‘strongholds’ of the opposition, and in some cases people were frustrated from collecting their PVCs because they had the ‘wrong name’; we all saw how voter intimidation and actual beatings of those you assumed would not vote for your emilokan god occurred in the run-up to the gubernatorial election and actual election day in Lagos; we all saw how Ndigbo were specifically singled out and threatened for wanting to exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to vote their choice of candidate (a Lagos indigene oh…no be say na Igbo)…..all this happening in a state that was the former capital of Nigeria and which ALL ETHNICITIES contributed in building, yet somehow you have made yourself to believe politics, business and governance in Lagos is for the Yoruba to decide and every other Nigerian should keep off! Last i checked, you and your quarrelsome ilk have not paid back to Nigeria all the billions spent on Lagos for you to feel you’re entitled to ‘own’ the state to the exclusion of others!
Only the discerning would have sussed that what transpired in the last gubernatorial election in Lagos was all about ensuring the survival of the Tinubu hegemony and control of Lagos politics and governance that has become the family ATM since 1999 to date! You saw what happened in the presidential election in the state, got spooked and went for broke in the gubernatorial one, damning all consequences! Keeping Lagos in the pockets of Tinubu and his family was a job that must be done!
Why are you still agonising over the last elections in Lagos!? Could it be that what’s left of your conscience is now pricking you, and you’re somehow trying to convince yourself that your criminal actions were justified!?
You see why i say you Igbo-hating, IPOB/Kanu hating ‘one Nigerianists’ are the biggest hypocrites Nigeria has had the misfortune to be saddled with!? You want ‘one Nigeria’ yet refuse to abide by the guidelines and dictates of its constitution! You missed the core of the guy's argument. Obedients voted APC they so much hated on Twitter but loved so much in secret. Deal with that first before returning to Lagos. In other words, it's not about APC in Lagos, but for the desire of Igbos to decide who becomes the Governor of Lagos State. |

The AJ is a clown. I doubt he won't be a jobber soonest. Efe Ajagba is the next big thing Nigerians should watch out for now. AJ is an overrated boxer with a boring style like the Klitschkos. And just like the Klitschkos immediately talented and big punchers came in they faded into the obvious. AJ career is over. He's just gonna be a jobber to test upcoming potentials like Ortiz and co are. AJ is 38years for Pete sake ! The guy who beat him is 27years and at his prime. He's an Olympic Gold medalist. diamond68: It has become very obvious that Anthony Joshua and his family are pimping the boxing game for all the money they can get with very minimal damage inflicted on him that would affect him in the future. He is not necessarily in the sport to be champion. He just wants money. If he gets someone he can destroy with no effort his prick go rise but if he gets a person that hits back ? As soon as he receives any kind of blow he falls to the ground so you can’t touch him anymore. He doesn’t want to be touched at all. I suspect this is a scheme he created with his family to milk the sport for all they can get and have him come out intact so he can enjoy all the loot with all his mental faculties intact. Past boxers have all suffered brain damage and can’t enjoy their loot when they retire. So that’s Anthony Joshua’s secret revealed. It’s a money grab without any damage received. Once you land one blow he falls to the canvas or starts running. I finally figured out his game plan. Past boxers with brain damage like Mike Tyson, Evander, Floyd, Manny Paciao. Dey deceive yourself. Not all past Boxers have brain damage |

I don't get, maybe there's something I'm missing. The Policemen were there to effect a lawful arrest, the suspect resisted arrest, so what should the Officers have done? In the USA, Police would have used Taser on him and rendered him immobile. Anywhere in the World the issue would have escalated beyond this. From the video, the Officers here were professional, using minimal force. |
