Nasarawa state governor, Umar Tanko Al-Mukura, has debunked rumour that President Muhammadu Buhari is confined to a chair in a London apartment.

Al-Makura, who was one of the All Progressive Party elected governors who recently visited the President in London, said he was looking healthy and ready to return home.

He said the president did not only have hours of meeting with him and others but took a walk around with them.

The governor said those who are referring to the picture of the APC gvernors with Buhari as fake are just being comical and have no idea how healthy the president is.

The governor, who spoke with The Nation newspaper, said: “We did not only visit the President, we walked, we sat down with him and we fraternised the way we used to do. He was not confined to any chair or any place.

“The President was really looking himself and very healthy. He was very alert, very concerned about the country and he was abreast of the latest issues in Nigeria. He has information on everything going on in the country.”

“He maintained his agility, his strength, his wit and the alertness of his mind. As far as I am concerned, the President can come back any time from now. He is fit to return home.”

Al-Makura said he and the others chatted with the president for about an hour and he wasn’t looking like someone who is gravely ill as some opponents of his party are trying to say.

He said: “For about an hour, we brainstormed on a number of issues, especially about national interest and the unity of this country. We spoke generally on how to handle issues or policies that will enhance the quality of life in this country.

“The President also tried to find out how each state was doing from the governors on the trip. And he asked questions from party leaders and all members of the delegation.

“After a long session, we ended up on the dining table where we feasted with the President.”

While reacting to allegation that the photo with the president was doctored, Al-Makura said: “Anyone can embark on wishful thinking. I was a member of the delegation and I have told you the truth about the way we met and interacted with the President.

“The onus is on who alleges to prove otherwise. Whoever says we didn’t go is casting aspersions on our integrity. This is really unfortunate.

“We have no cause to lie to Nigerians. I just came in this morning and I have all my travel documents intact.


“I am surprised that anyone could say that we didn’t see the President. It makes me to appreciate the extent to which a person can go comical.”

Meanwhile, the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) has selected six governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London.

The NSA, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd.), selected the six governors from the six geo-political zones of the country.

Four governors selected for the trip are from the south-south, south-east, north-west and south-west respectively, while two others are from the north-east and north-central.

The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Monday stated that Nigerians should have understood the way Buhari “prefers to do things” having spent two years in office.

Adesina, who spoke when he featured on a Channels Television programme, Sunrise Daily, categorically called on Nigerians to take his principal the way he is.

His words, “The style of our president is what you have seen on display. By now, two years after he came into office, I’m sure that we should understand him.

“We should know the kind of person he is, we should know how he prefers to do things. So, that is the way the president is. We elected him willingly and we have seen that this is the way he is, so let’s take him the way he is.”

The presidential spokesman also shed more light on the meeting some governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, had with the President in London on Sunday afternoon.

He said, “Governor Okorocha who is the head of the APC governors was in the delegation. We spoke on the phone and he gave me details. The president spoke with each person, state after state, asking of developments of their states.

“He spoke with the minister of transportation on the development in his sector. He must have also spoken with the party chairman on the development in the party on the forthcoming convention and all that.”

When reminded that there might be concerns that his information is got from a third party (Okorocha), the President’s spokesman said: “Imagine if there was no information at all, this is third party information quite all right.

“It is information that Nigerians are glad at, there has been lots of rejoicing in the country since yesterday. So it’s something we appreciate.”

Adesina hinted that in the coming days, there would be another visit to Buhari in the United Kingdom.

“I am sure that in a couple of days, there is still going to be another visit, which may be more than this, but this is the first one and it was made mainly of APC governors and the national chairman of the party,” he said.

When topics like this come up, instead of those who have practical knowledge of how to experience the subject matter to state the practical steps they took to get their own experience, the best they do is to start quoting bible. Someone says seek a mentor, why can't you mentor us on this thread?
These further proves that these things probably don't really exist because Jesus was more practical than theoretical according to the bible but nowadays, christianity is more abstract and theoretical than practical. Meanwhile, now is all we can prove.

Biafra: What Buhari should have done to Nnamdi Kanu - Yerima Shettima

The leader of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, Yerima Shettima has said that the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is being influenced by hard drugs and as a result, behaves like a madman.

Shettima said his recent decision to force Igbos out of the Northern region of the country was reached solely because of activities and comments by the IPOB leader against Nigeria, the North and president Muhammadu Buhari.

The AYCF leader, who recently asked Igbos in the North to ignore the quit notice he earlier issued to them, told the Sun that Nnamdi Kanu was getting out of hands.

He said, “This man [Kanu] came from nowhere. He is never our class in struggles. I don’t know where he started his struggle, but he came out and within one year and suddenly because unfortunately the government made it easy for him to become popular; otherwise, Kanu is not an issue.”

Shettima said the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration made a big mistake when his governmnet arrested Nnamdi Kanu.

He further blamed, “The government to an extent; to have even in the first place arrested this man, somebody who is being influenced by drugs.

“Who is Kanu in the circle of struggles? So to me it is high time when somebody behaves like a mad man and you behave like a gentleman you realize that this gentleman is getting out of hand undermining everybody, abusing everybody.

“You cannot… I am proudly a northerner and that’s my identity. I cannot be a leader at my level and allow this man to be talking and abusing the sensibilities of my people and you expect me to fold my hands. As a leader of the youths, it’s impossible.

“We cannot fold our hands when after Jonathan government, no organization like IPOB came on board to abuse that government, now suddenly because we have a government of northern extraction under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari we fold our hands and allow somebody to undermine that government and abuse the sensibility .We did everything, even MASSOB found it difficult to manage the young man the way he is going about it.

“A man who few years ago Ralph Uwazurike employed to work for him suddenly became a tiger and became a tool against the collective interest of the Igbo. Now, nobody can control him. Even the governors and the Eastern leaders this boy has succeeded in holding them to ransom. They are scared of talking for fear of attack from those jobless youths around him.

“Suddenly they folded their hands. And you expect us other Nigerians to fold our hands when somebody who has dual citizenship is trying to mess up the country?

“From UK to come and mess up the country? No, we’ll ensure that we protect the integrity of Nigeria to make sure that we remain together. No; this is unacceptable.

“My recent decision was borne out of frustration with this young man who goes around abusing my identity, my community, my people, undermining a country called Nigeria. I am a strong Nigerian, proudly a Nigerian.
