Thanks, I plan to submit my proof of ownership and the car comprehensive insurance. Pls are this documents ok.
ty01: Of course you can, just the proof of ownership certificate. But please be very sure of the authenciticy of the document before submitting same as ignorance is not an excuse. You can be placed on the 10 years ban if they verify and realise that the document is not authentic.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by lightofjoy(m): 12:10pm On Jan 08, 2014
Thanks. Then what was the result?
dove30: hey don't be alarmed same thing happened when i filled out my forms.after submitting and paying online i saw a lot of errors with dates and names.i then went to the website and saw that you can use a pen to correct the form you print out and send to them and that was exactly what i did.the home office know you may make errors online.vhs was very correct with the info you got from them.refunding and all would take so much time dont stress
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by lightofjoy(m): 11:46am On Jan 08, 2014
Thanks for your response. Though call VHS office and they said I can use pen to correct the mistake on paper but I think I will prefer to follow your advise.
My question is if I withdraw & demand for refund today(I know it take 28 days for processing), can I also fill another form and do another payment today?
Pls urgent response needed.
BnBarbie: If you have paid the visa fee, you would have to withdraw the application online and request for a refund. Then start a fresh application.
But if you haven't paid, i guess you just delete the application and start afresh.

TravelRe: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by lightofjoy(m): 3:07pm On Jan 04, 2014
Vicjustice: It actually depends on the convenience of the rented properties, whether it has enough space and adequate accommodation for you.
As for the N500k, forget it.
Your advise is noted but honestly I have a friend whe is on a salary 200k per month & who only has 170K in his salary account. He applied for US visa in november and he was given the visa. So have also heard about someone with 350K balance that got a UK tourist visa.

Your opinion on this will be appreciated.

Thanks

Heelo fello Nairalanders, pls I need your advice: I work & reside in Nigeria with a monthly earning of 190K though I also get some money from my personal consulting that I do. My father(a Nigerian) is a citizen of France but lives in the UK in a rented 2 bedroom duplex. One of my sibling (nigerian) who is also a citizen of France also stay with him in the same address. I want to go to the UK just for 10 days holiday, what type of visa should I applied for and what document do I submit and I have about 500K in my account. Should I state that I will stay with him or should I book my own hotel? Kindly advice me. Thanks
AutosRe: Is A Used Car Mileage Of 170,000 From Cotonou A Good One? by lightofjoy(m): 7:10pm On Nov 01, 2013
Considering mileage is good but the most important thing is the status of the car and how was it maintained. Some so call low mileage cars all over lagos have already have their mileage doctored. It is better you buy a car that you know the true state than to buy under deception. If the condition of the car is perfect, then go for it. Cheers.

@ authentic, don't forget that the #37,000 is basic, this is always the smallest part of the salary because its always use to calculate your pension. The question we should possibly be asking is if there any TCN staff in the house, kindly furnish us with your full salary package.
authentic2013: I heard that more names will be out again.I cant believe in the basic salary scale for Electrical officer 2 just N37,000 per month.Just too poor for one to imagine.I just managed to eat their chicken, meat pie, bottle water and coconut fruit juice.I am very weak for this work. From the same money we will be feeding, transporting, and accomodating to work.I thought we will have training allowance of N2,000,000 and housing allowance of N600,000 ment this one tire me ooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
