Gandy04: The first two to three months of Nigerians getting abroad is always like;
"ohh my God, see 24hrs light, Nigeria failed us" most even forget they pay $300 for utility bills every month. LoL
"See road. Ohh my God, there's no road and fine cars in Nigeria, we all trek on mud"
"Mehn, see fine fine oyinbo, I'll Marry like 2 oyinbo for here and get papers within two years" only to later realized this is only but illusion as most Nigerian guys are ugly and might not be good enough to even get dates.
"Damn. See how much my salary is wen I convert it to naira. Now, I'm earning more than a bank manager in Nigeria" Only to later realized that 60% of this money will go to taxes and bills. Nigerians at home will also bill them
"Take pictures every day to pepper ignorant Nigerians at home" only to get tired after two months when reality knock
That was me when I paid $350 for light in February

Airko: I am going to be documenting my journey of becoming a Data Scientist through the Data Analytics pathway.
I actually started officially on the 14th of January 2022 although I've been too relaxed in my learning due to other commitments.
This is going to be in form of a diary/journal kind of record but as an engineer, I'll call it my logbook.
I'll be sharing some other aspects of my life so this would not just be about programming and data stuff. A few back stories here and there and materials I'm using at each step of the process.
This log should be done daily but I can't make promises. I'll update as often as I can and hopefully this helps me to be more focused and consistent.
tensazangetsu20: So if you had 20k usd you will try and fail with that instead of running away from Nigeria with the same 20k usd. I wont advise anyone to invest in Nigeria currently. I was thinking foreigners don't even follow our elections only for my boss at work to ask me how we could elect a drug baron in our country. If you think getting a remote job was hard, wait until next year.
Baba abeg no talk like dis... What if forign investors read this ya comment.. Dem go abandon the country.

Dreal1247: These are the results of bad Government. They can use millions of dollars for electoral process manipulation but can't provide decent means of lifelihood for the populace. Though we can't justify criminality, but some of the people of this country are really suffering. A good number of persons from the ruling party can effortlessly purchase the 100 million Naira expression of interest form, and a graduate since 2018 could not secure a good job opportunity. We need to reclaim the stolen mandate.
2018, wey just dey here.. some no get jobs since 2008..
Vickho: please who is the person in that her DP on her profile. the person looks like a mad man.. I never saw all these red flags before I decided to employ her.
Lolz..
It's just a random pics...
I never saw all these red flags before I decided to employ her
Vickho: My name is Inspector Lawal Gbadamosi. I just recently established a nursery school in Lekki Phase one, Lagos. I was seeking to recruit qualified teachers since my school is still nascent and growing. A certain lady with the moniker DKM123 contacted me through my mailbox and narrated her ordeal with me, telling me how she is so in desperate need of the job, so I had to employ her to teach primary 1 despite failing the interview both oral and written. So while I was taking a walk through the various classes to inspect and monitor the teaching process I over heard her teaching my pupils immoral things like. A hotel - A hotel is a place where a male takes a female to go in and sleep with her, they can decide to sleep together through out the night or pay for a short time and sleep together for certain hours. what broke my heart was when she further elaborated on the definition of a hotel by saying this : a man can also take his fellow man or a lady can take her fellow lady and go to a hotel and they can sleep together as she was about to call two pupils of same gender to demonstrate physically on LGBTQ that's was when I whooped in and immediately pounced on her and beat the hell out of her, she struggled and freed herself from my grip by biting me and fled. Now the whole school environment has been surrounded by Navy, Policemen and Nigerian Army, if she is sighted around the school premises, she will be instantly shot dead. Any person on this forum that will help with valuable information on how to track her down and arrest her will be rewarded. Below is her profile. https://www.nairaland.com/DKM123
BloomingDale: To be honest Igbos has always provided the best customer service anytime I need something done in a company. They are hardworking and know what they are doing. The laziest and don’t know what they are doing are the ahem****. Speaking from experience and as a non Igbo. If I see several emails or names to provide me with a service in a company, I will always pick the Igbos as my first choice.
Through they are hard working, but they need to open their hearts, love and respect other tribes and also invest in other tribes as other tribes have been doing to them.
Honnest truth Igbos hardly employ non Igbos in their companies.
A good eg is PO fedelity bank and ex diamond bank..
MTn for eg is dominated by Igbos cos ig is rule that company..
Let's talk about DStv and co.
Sometimes employ people form other regions It will build trust.
Innoson company is filled with Igbos, u will ha rdly see people from other regions. If same company was owned by a Niger Delta man for eg, you will see lots of Igbos working in that company with impunity.
When it get to their turn they will Igbonize it.. It's very sad..
This po election wey po leave PDP to form a shanty polictical structure was wrong.
I was surprised Igbos were surpoting him, although the Igbo polictical initiates knew PO was chasing the spirit of a wild goose, whoose dimise took place 700 million years ago. E long op!!
At the end PO failed because, he decided to use his Igbo mathematics for Nigerian polictics.
If PO was patient, he would have been the VP today, no matter the rigging... It's better than been the looser.
From that position he may aspire to greater heights.
My point is, sometimes my Igbo brother's shud abandon their Igbo mathematics and stick with principles...
Be humble, calm, talk less, say only positive things, hype other tribes..
Don't try to dominate others, pretend you are weak... Don't slap your money on the face of others and above all try to develop their region... I believe money can be made in the east through innovation and industrialization.

So tonight i asked my girlfriend whom i wish to marry, if she would be willing to marry me as i stay in this selfcon, even if i don't have money to rent 1bed room.
She said she can't, please what does this mean? Possibly not my class? Possibly might leave when things go bad?

MikeofAfrica: Atiku is just playing with your intelligent.
While Peter Obi was running for the PDP ticket, he also indicated interest in becoming Atiku deputy. Infact, he sent people to Atiku to lobby for his V.P Ticket.
However Atiku made it clear that he will run with one of the SS Governors. That was the agreement he had with the PDP governors that were loyal to him.
When Obi realised that he will not get the PDP ticket or V.P ticket, he decided to leave. Atiku was not bothered because he then taught Obi had no political value outside Anambra.
Obi has proven him and PDP wrong hence he is seeking for sympathy.
Atiku will not make that mistake. Why southern gov is more respected than OBi?
Judging by the fact that rice Mills are not expensive to establish, a reason we have lots of them in Nigeria..
They shud tell the masses how mush they spent on the rice Mill...
Just one rice Mill for a whole Lagos?
No furnace in Lagos..
No iron fabrication plant.
No chemical plant..
No ceramic fabrication plant..
No machine part fabrication plant..
Not if, mods board, one board plants..
No lcd plants..
No glass fabrication plant...
Owned by the govt of Lagos..
Yet a governor is building blue line and red line with billions of dollars...
Red and blue lines will not reduce the poverty rate in Lagos, neither will it reduce the unemployment rate, or create wealth for the masses..
Above all the red and blue lines are not anti inflation mechenaries... They can't help Nigeria combat the hyper inflation in the country, but industries will halt the hyper inflation in the country.
adler777: I was just pondering and reflecting on the performance of Lagos state governors for the past 16 years and truth be told, Sanwo-Olu has been the most docile, non-performing governor in the history of Lagos. Even Bola Tinubu, despite being stifled in terms of non-payment of federal allocation by Obasanjo, still found a way to govern Lagos and perform to an extent.
Fashola came and set a new standard in state governance with the creation of BRT, enforcement of seat belts by LASTMA, Lagos Homs housing project, massive road construction, to mention a few. Ambode followed suit by creating the largest transport edifice in the history of Lagos (Oshodi Interchange), reducing VIO disturbance and massive construction of inner city roads even in areas considered as Lagos "outskirts", all before he had a fall out with the political overlord(s) in Lagos.
On Projects: Sanwo-Olu barely started and completed any relevant project of his own for an entire 4 year period. The Imota rice mill being paraded as his development was initially developed under Ambode... I do not know of any major road constructed afresh and commissioned under Sanwo for 4 good years. Even the BRT is now a shadow of itself. Transportation has gone to the dogs in Lagos state and most people are either at the mercy of danfo drivers and motor park touts (Agberos) or you buy your own vehicle if you can afford one despite the huge cost of buying a tokunbo or Nigerian used vehicle.
On Governance: Sanwo-Olu barely governed Lagos well and allowed a lot of harassment from VIO officers on Lagos roads. Under Ambode, you'd never see these guys disturb car users or harass anyone. He is also believed to a political figure-head who has no mind of his own, thereby not doing things in the interest of the state, but rather in the interest of his political mentor(s). Also as we speak, there is so much corruption within Lagos state parastatals.
In the spirit of choosing what's best for Lagos, I sincerely think it would be a bad idea for any Lagosian to vote Sanwo-Olu for the second time based on his non-performance. It's time to try another hands on the deck of Lagos governorship but I won't tell anyone who to vote for!
Ire ooo
Sanwo olu does not deserve a second term in office.. This easy second term ambition must stop..
All governor's must be replaced after their first Their term in office..
Judging by sanwo Plus performance, he performed just like the average Nigerian governor... He must be kicked out of office.
Red and blue line are a waste of funds... If he had invested that money in lithium processing Lagos will be richer. Lots of jobs will be created..
If he had invested that money in a Petro chemical plant it will create more wealth.
