So only the sinner will be punished and no one dies for anyone.

Adam was given a law in the garden of Eden, but he failed to obeyed that law.
What has been the result of Adam’s failure to obey? The Bible answers this way: “Through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12) By disobeying God, Adam sinned. He thus lost the prospect of endless life and eventually died. Being his descendants, we have inherited his sinful condition. As a result, we are subject to sickness, old age, and death. Yes, God made arrangements to redeem, or buy back, what Adam had lost for his descendants, namely, the prospect of endless life. How did God accomplish that?

“The wages sin pays is death,” says the Bible at Romans 6:23. This means that death is the consequence of sin. Adam sinned, so he died. Likewise, we sin and are therefore subject to sin’s wages, death. But we were born in this sinful condition through no fault of our own. So God lovingly sent his Son, Jesus, to accept ‘the wages of sin’ for us. How does this work?

Since one man, the perfect man Adam, brought sin and death on us through disobedience, a perfect man obedient even till death was needed to release us from that burden. The Bible explains it this way: “Just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one person many will be made righteous.” (Romans 5:19) Jesus was that “one person.” He left heaven, became a perfect man, and died in our behalf. As a result, it is possible for us to have a righteous standing with God and gain the prospect of endless life.

As to whether animals die as a result to Adamic sin, we cannot be dogmatic.
But death is a natural occurrence which can affect plants as well as animals. How do we know that?

If man and animals are to eat from the plants, therefore the plants will grow, mature, bear fruits for food and eventually die. Therefore death is a natural occurrence.

But Humans were not meant to die. How did we know that. From the statement given to Adam in the garden...

But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”


So if Adam has not eaten from the fruit, humans wouldn't have died.

1. God never told us that the wages of sin is Death, [/b]not in Jesus Christ. Instead, He told that only to the Jews, those who are born of the blood of Jacob, this as part of His Old Covenant Law of Moses -[b]Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 - eternal life belonged only to the righteous in the Old Covenant Law of Moses. God repeated this in Ezekiel 18 vs 1 - 36 when He removed generational curses from His Law indicating instead that the soul that sins will die(perish in the grave), stating that only the righteous among them will live(eternal life) - they slept in the grave. God also said this again in Ezekiel 33 vs 9 - 20 indicating that only the righteous shall live(eternal life), the sinners must die(perish in the grave).

Now, when Jesus Christ showed up, He offered to all those who would believe in Him a new standard with a guarantee of eternal life right from the door. Everyone who accepts Jesus Christ and is born-again as a result gains eternal life this and entry into the Kingdom of God, this to Jews and Gentiles alike - John 3 vs 1 - 21. Right as we accept Jesus Christ, we are no longer condemned to die - our previous state as those not under Law from Genesis 3 vs 19 - 22 - but instead granted eternal life .I.e. we are born of Spirit, so we can live and serve God in Spirit according to the rules of the New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God.

So Jesus Christ came to save mankind from the curse aka the condemnation of Sin -Death - as decreed by God in Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22. this is what Salvation is all about, saving man from the curse and restoring sons of men back to Son of God status lost to us since Adam and Eve. Jesus Christ made it known that He did not come to condemn but to save... implying that the offer once accepted was not retractable- one cannot loose the eternal life once it has been given, this to return back to the previously condemned state.

In His Law and Kingdom, however, Jesus Christ's friends are those who do as He says(His enemies are those who refuse to do as He says). As He explained to us in several parables, in the Kingdom of God are also found His enemies, those who refuse to obey Him - Matthew 13 vs 1 - 52 - and in through the same parables, Jesus Christ explained that both the righteous and unrighteous will be judged - Matthew 13 vs 24 - 30, and this judgement would come, not in this life, but after He returns, providing affirmation that all those who will be judged indeed have eternal life - those who perish in the grave do not have life after death - Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22

In John 5 vs 19 - 29, we read of Jesus Christ raising those who sleep in the grave - those who did not perish in the grave- up to be judged, good and evil. And in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46, we read of the details of the Judgement that awaits the same who belong to Him ... of the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God. What is even more telling is the fact that both the reward and punishment are listed as both being eternal - Eternal Reward or punishment - implies an Reward/Punishment doled out for a period no less than eternity.

All those who belong to Jesus Christ have eternal life..... you get that when you become born-again regardless of whether they end up as sheep or goayand and eternal punishment implies you live out your punishment for eternity much like eternal reward implies you live out your reward for eternity.

Another angle to look at this from is this. Since we are judged by the works we do in this here world, if the end for the goats is that they be totally annihilated from existence in much similar manner as the unbelievers are, then why bother raising them from the grave to judge them at all?

If someone dies, he has paid for his sins (since death is the punishment of sin).

So on what basis are you judging the person again?

John seems to suggest by this that Death and Hades are beings of eternal nature.

In all of these passages up there, death is said to be destroyed. And Rev. 20:14 talks about death being destroyed in the lake of fire (the second death) meaning total annihilation, never to be in existence again. Same fate awaits those who do not find their names on the book of life - total annihilation.

Just like a fire being used to destroy completely a piece of paper, that's how their extermination will be, including Satan and his demons. They all gonna be totally destroyed from existence (in the lake of fire which is the second death) not in an imaginary hellfire that burns for all eternity...

Well in a simpler term see what the bible teaches about what happens when a person dies.

Ecclesiastes 12:7

The spirit (life force, or breath of life returns to God). There is no inward man going anywhere.

When Adam sinned and judgment was passed on him, God simply said Adam will die and return to DUST, not die and return to HIM

At death, humans know nothing at all, they don't feel pains, they don't love, they don't hate, they don't get jealous. They simply know nothing because they are unconscious.

If humans die and something inside of them survives death (inward man as you said above) and goes to heaven or hellfire, will there be need for a resurrection? Will love a simple Yes or No answer from you.

As for NEW HEAVEN and EARTH. In the end Heaven and Earth will be refurbished. The seas take too much space on earth 70% earth space! That will be corrected to make room for resurrected people that will return to earth from heaven. The heaven will also cease admitting humans and all their dwelling cities relocated to the earth.

What's the need for a new HEAVEN?

The key to understanding the scripture is making sure your understanding does not contradict other parts of the scripture.

Humans were created to live on earth forever. Though Adam sinned, and that isn't possible now, but by means of Jesus' Ransom sacrifice, humans have the prospect of living again forever.

You miss the point dear friend, the key to understanding the book of Revelation is found in the chapter 1.

A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent his angel and presented it in signs through him to his slave John,

Everything presented in revelation are presented in SIGNS. If true then your assertion that the scripture you quoted above means a RAPTURE. then you are wrong.

Simple logic question:
If humans are to be raptured to heaven as some claims, what then happens to our home EARTH?

While it's true that we are living in the time of the end, there is never a place in the bible where the bible talks about A RAPTURE.

The bible is explicitly clear regarding what will happen at the end of this system of things (i.e. the destruction of Satan's rulership over the whole earth and his agents).

Psalms 37:9-10
For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth.

10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there.

11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace

Yes as it is above, evil people will be removed from the earth, while the righteous ones will (the meek) will possess the earth.

Bro,I thank God we are all Bible students.Lets look at this analogy,a Christian missionary went to moslem dominated community to preach the gospel.After some days,he discovered dat dere is a cheistian family in dat community.He went into that family to go n rest.Behold,moslem irate youths were in search of the missionary to kill him.They later discovered that the missionary was taking refuge in that christian home.They went in dere to kill de missionary,but unfortunately to them,de man has already left for another area to continue preaching.They instead killed everybody in that christian family since they couldn't find the man.Now the question is; will u then attribute the mission of dat Christian to preach the gospel of Christ in dat community as an act of satan cos it has led to the killing of innocent christian family?
