Kobojunkie: It seems you are not working your brain at all in this. Genesis 3 vs 19 - 24 clearly says they are returned to the dust i.e. they cease to exist. Since humans are not created with Eternal Life(also known as an afterlife) they cease to exist when they die. Once they die and that breath of life leaves, a man is nothing but dust. Look again. Read again what God said after declaring how death was to come on man in verse 19. Man never had eternal life from His beginning. So how could he continue in the grave if he had no afterlife/Eternal life to begin with? I did agreed with you. Humans die, they cease to exist, they return to grave or dust. But then the bible holds a resurrection hope of those who are in the grave. |

Kobojunkie: Where did God tell you ---before Jesus Christ and the Law of Moses showed up ---that everyone born after God's judgement against man would go? In general speaking Gen. 3:19 is clear and simple. When humans die they return to dust or grave. But then the bible doesn't speak about a resurrection for babies. Nowhere in the bible indicates whether a bible will be resurrected. Whether the baby was given birth to, whether the baby died as still birth or whether a miscarriage. There's no need to be dogmatic. We leave the matter to God to decide if he will resurrect babies or not. |

I see you are just another religious robot.
Do babies and your miscarriage meet the criteria set by Jesus Christ Himself in John 3 vs 1 - 21 as far as gaining initial access into the Kingdom of God where Heaven and Hell - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 - both ruled over by Jesus Christ exist in? So then, where do the babies go to when they die? |

2. Lol... go back and clearly read my post as many times as you need to realize that it contains the answers but it just happens to you reject God even as you claim with your mouth to love Him. Still no answer. Question 1: do babies go to heaven when they die? Question 2: If you'd say they go to heaven, what about those who died in the womb or who die by miscarriage, do they go to heaven also? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Do Newborn Babies Go To Heaven When They Die by LilBlaze24o: 10:21pm On Nov 30, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: ■ Genesis 3 vs 16 - 24 is God Himself answering that question once and for all for everyone born outside of God's Law. ■ Those who live under the Law of Moses -- all Israelites----are subject to the Law of Moses - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. ■ Those of them who go on to become born-again are subject to judgement as ruled by Jesus Christ - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46
More importantly, all three references are of God speaking in connection to His Laws. Any ideas expressed by men are meant to be validated against God's Law and not against a private interpretation. Well I thought you gonna give a definite answer from the bible whether babies that die go to heaven. It's fine, what about those babies who died due to still birth or miscarriage, will they also to to heaven since they are not yet been given birth to under the law... |

Christianity Etc › Re: Will Bad People Burn In Hell? by LilBlaze24o: 5:41pm On Sep 26, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: 1. So, you think God lied in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 and then again in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 36?
2. God's specific commandment to Adam in Genesis 2 vs 15 - 16 makes clear the punishment that awaited Adam for his sin of disobedience against God. And so after Adam fell and God pronounced this punishment, it was clearly in line with God's decree as given to Adam.
3. Ezekiel 18 vs 4 reiterates God's declaration to Israel in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20
4. I am afraid to understand what Paul was in fact speaking of in his letter, you need to first understand the context of his view as expressed. Paul typically switched between speaking regarding the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, so you need to go back through the context of his statement to understand which of the laws he spoke in reference to.
5. First of all, nobody inherited sin from Adam. That belief is instead a delusion and this is seen in the fact that Adam's direct offspring, Abel, was a righteous man, unlike his very own father. So, perish that idea completely as it is instead of a lie.
Second, God is God of Laws, and each of His Laws defines for men what is sin against God, the reward for the obedience of God's Law as well as the consequence for disobedience of God's Law. The Law God gave to Adam defined all of this for Adam, and we know that Adam chose disobedience. The same goes for the Law God gave specifically to the Israelites, and as well, the Law God gave to those who will believe in Jesus Christ. So rather than looking to one Law to define a certain idea for all the other Laws, consider instead the details of each Law for information on Sin, righteousness, and Judgement under said Law.
So, in the case of God's New Covenant, Jesus Christ, we know that the Kingdom of God where Heaven(Eternal reward) and Hellfire(eternal damnation) had never been offered to mankind before Jesus Christ. Meaning this Law did not exist to men before Jesus Christ brought it to mankind. First of all, nobody inherited sin from Adam. That belief is instead a delusion and this is seen in the fact that Adam's direct offspring, Abel, was a righteous man, unlike his very own father. So, perish that idea completely as it is instead of a lie. Are you for real with this statement? Romans 5:12 That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned. I guess you mean this place is a lie that sin and dead didn't spread to all men. If we didn't inherit sin from Adam like you said above, 1. Why did Jesus die? 2. Why do humans die too? 3. How did humans become sinner? I need you to answer these in the context of humans not inheriting sin from Adam. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Will Bad People Burn In Hell? by LilBlaze24o: 5:05pm On Sep 26, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: 1. More like different outcomes depending on which of God's Laws one was bound under at the time of one's death. God's Law creates the context by which a situation is judged in scripture.
2. Under God's New Covenant and Law, Jesus Christ, of which the details are in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the righteous are rewarded with Heaven whereas the Unrighteous are rewarded with Eternal damnation aka Hell/Hellfire - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 .
What you quoted from the Psalm is instead related to the Old Covenant and Law , YHWH, and the details of that Law is found in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers,Deuteronomy, and under that Covenant, the unrighteous perish in the grave whereas the righteous receive eternal life to live again here on earth - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. So the mentions of Hell in the Old Testament, later on reimagined to an idea called Paradise and Hades is taken from that set in God's Old Covenant.
And then there is the overarching Law that God gave to all of mankind in the beginning eventually cursing all after man fell and the details of that Law can be found in Genesis 1 - 2. Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22 is where God then judged/cursed/condemned all men for sin of unbelief and so unbelievers, all those who refuse to believe in God and are not born to the blood of Jacob are condemned according to that judgment
3. See #2 Well I can say you are in the wrong friend. From the first page of the scripture to the last, the punishment for sin whether the old testament or new testament is death. What Adam sinned what was his punishment? According to Ezekiel 18:4, what's the punishment for sin? According to Romans 6:23, what's the punishment for sin? Death has always been the answer whether in the Hebrew scripture or the Christian Greek scripture. Saying different outcomes because of which law one was under is like saying Adam's sin has no effect on us again as humans, whereas Romans 5:12, we all became sinners because of Adam. If the punishment for Adam's sin is DEATH, what makes you think those who inherited that sin from Adam will have another punishment or outcome? I'll need your answer from the bible. Or did God create the hellfire later? Maybe during this our own time? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Will Bad People Burn In Hell? by LilBlaze24o: 1:41pm On Sep 26, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: 1. Words are known to have different meanings attributed to them based on the context being considered. In the Old Covenant, for example, the Word Hell is used to point to the place of the unrighteous dead whereas the grave is the place where the righteous dead sleep in the grave - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 being where you find clearly stated that there are two different ends that await those who are of God's Old Covenant.
In God's New Covenant Law, Jesus Christ, however, the end that awaits the Righteous is indicated as Heaven(Eternal Reward) whereas the end that awaits the unrighteous is also referred to as Hell(Eternal Damnation) - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 - also referred to as the Lake of fire in John's book of Revelation. And from this, you can see how ridiculous it really is to argue the meaning of a word when a word, as already stated, can take on a different meaning depending on context.
2. Again, that is clear enough even from my previous post. Whether the fire is literal or not, I don't know this since I have never been to the place of Eternal damnation described by Jesus Christ to know this. The same goes for your claim as to it being a place of literal destruction or annihilation. I only have the Words of Jesus Christ which state that the torment is for eternity for those who end up there. Surely, something that has been destroyed does not endure eternal torment.
3. It is also quite clear about the end of the unrighteous and the unbelievers. Sounding like there re different outcome for different sinners depending on when one sinned. Is that what you mean? And from your assertion, you mean the righteous goes and heaven and the winner goes to a place of damnation. But you ignored the Psalms 37:29 I quoted earlier which state that The righteous will live forever on earth. How do you incorporate that statement with yours that the destination of all the righteous is heaven |
Christianity Etc › Re: Will Bad People Burn In Hell? by LilBlaze24o: 12:20pm On Sep 25, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: 1. The first Death and hell are both not eternal, and we know that anything that is not eternal has an end/die, so clearly everything that is not eternal will indeed die.
2. According to the story, Jonah was instead in the belly of the whale, which he described as hell in his lamentation. I have been in places myself where I described my experience as being in hell but that don't mean I in fact died and went to hell, does it?
3. They were all stories/analogies used by Jesus Christ to teach various lessons to His followers. Those with little understanding are easily distracted by the various details in the stories whereas the lessons are usually at the end of the story.
4. Jesus Christ wasn't teaching the people about hell or hellfire when He spoke the parable of Lazarus and the rich man to them. Instead, the lesson He had for them to learn was that there will be none sent back from the grave to warn the living of Heaven or Hellfire(eternal damnation). I like and commend sincerely your dedication in giving answers to the questions I raised. But we still got a lot to discuss. Our emphasis is still on the word HELL and it's usage in the bible. And in all the instances the word HELL appeared both in the Greek and Hebrew scripture, it is rendered GRAVE. The word translated as Hell in the bible, is HADES in Greek and SHOEL in Hebrew. If this word is to mean a literally place that burns with fire, then you raise confusion as to certain texts or the bible. Examples Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: Jonah 2:2, Rev. 20:14... And many others. When the bible speaks of death and hell being thrown in the lake of fire, it's literally death and grave. You can check that from other translations of the bible. Sure death is the last enemy to be defeated, so it's casting off into the lake of fire (the second death - not a literal fire) simply means total destruction or annihilation. This same fate awaits Satan, his demons and his followers. The bible is clear about the future of righteous humans. They will live forever on earthPsalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
While the evildoers will be totally annihilated from the surface of the earth. Psalms 37:9-10 For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. ו [Waw] Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there |

Kobojunkie: Following the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 20 vs 19 - 31, Hell is the place where the unrighteous dead of God's Old Law of Moses temporarily awaited their final sentence -perishing in the grave - and Death is the grave itself which for those who sleep in it only lasts until the resurrection - the end to one's earthly term on earth. They are both of them not eternal meaning there is an end to them. And according to John's book of dream/vision record, that end takes place when they are both replaced by that which he refers to as the lake of fire(Eternal damnation). Well you still didn't get the question.. The question was: Since lake of fire means - second death, can Death and Hell die? If hell is a place reserved for the unrighteous of Moses law, was Jonah sent to hell? I will need a sincere answer from the bible only. Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. By the way, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus like you said is a parable and nothing more. Just like the parable of the lost coin, prodigal son, ten virgins, etc. Did any of these events in the parable happened real or were they used to each something. I guess u know the answer... They weren't real events. Jesus was never teaching about HELLFIRE as some assumed when he gave the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Are You Righteous Enough To Make Heaven If Rapture/death Occurs Today? by LilBlaze24o: 11:35am On Jan 23, 2022 |
Does the Bible teach that there will be a rapture of all true Christians to heaven? Will they be taken away leaving the rest of mankind behind to face calamity?
Actually, the word “rapture” is not found in the Bible. The belief is based on 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17, where the related words “caught away” are found. There we read:
“The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
Believers in the rapture give the following literal interpretation to this passage: Christ will again come to the earth. The dead “saints” will be resurrected and the living “saints” will be caught away, or raptured. Given new immortal bodies, they will rise and join Christ in the air, and he will take them to heaven.
But will Christ return in a physical form? What does the Bible says? |

DeepSight: While I thank you for taking the time and care to offer your view, regrettably, it only appears to me as special pleading in terms of exempting humanity from that which is natural. And therefore contradictory: because in truth, everything physical is subject to change/ deterioration. We are all born to observe natural deterioration. Hence it may seem impossible for some to believe that humans can be exempted. Science has shown that as one cell dies in human million more cells are reproduced from that dying cell. At some point the dying cells stop reproducing, old age set it, sickness, pains, death. What if these conditions can be reverted? I believe in the bible. And I believe in these words here Job 33:25 Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor. Old age and death can be reverted. |
