Hotel is at Alakuko which is far (can be about 2hrs from VI) from V.I considering Lagos traffic I will advise you cancel that hotel booking and look for a place on Lagos island as going from Alakuko will not do any difference from going from Ibadan if you are not lucky with Lagos traffic search for hotel in Lagos island.

Please I need your advice on this. I just checked my visa interview application portal only to see that only my surname and first name are showing. On my i20, I have my middle name included. On my passport, I have my middle name included. On my Ds160 I also have my middle name included. Do you think this will be an issue during the visa interview? So far as it's an accredited University you should be fine. Don't overburden yourself or your family by going to a very expensive "top" University. CS, CIS, Data Science etc are highly applicable in many sectors here, all you have to do is to learn in-demand tools. Also be prepared for the intense competition for STEM jobs, but that's how Naija has trained us

Also, does school reputation affects ones job opportunities? Lets say someone going for Msc computer science in a not-so-reputable university. Computer science has numerous opportunities based on what I heard but I really want to know if the school reputation can increase or decrease someone's employment opportunities.

When it comes to business, Igbo's are very comfortable with any tribe and will protect you so long as you are a genuine business person. Do you know that Igbos patronize Hausa kiosk sellers more than fellow Igbo's that run supermarkets simply because the Hausa man sells cheaper.
While working in Onitsha main market during my secondary school days... Most of our big customers come from North with few coming from Cameron. They buy goods (weavons, wigs and attachments) worth over 1 million and none has ever complained of any form of attack.
As of today, over 50,000 foreigners visit Onitsha main market daily to buy goods.
From what I heard, Aba is not much different from Onitsha in terms of security.

I will advise the OP to avoid night movement. There is generally no night life in the east so don't come and be wandering around in the night. The hotels in the east are safe. There is nothing like efcc raids.

I need advice urgently. I applied to 4 schools : University of Toledo, Creighton University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and University of Rhode Island. I received an approval from Southern Illinois plus teaching assistantships with a deficit of $4500. They are asking me to send my original transcript and also upload a statement of account before the admission will be official. Now my problem is, accepting this offer from SIUE, does it mean I have forfeited the other schools who are yet to make their admission decisions? SIUE was my safe school as the other schools rank higher, won't the VO query me on why I chose SIUE over Other schools? For the second question, I am afraid telling the VO that only SIUE accepted me will make me look like an incompetent student which I am not.
