Good decision u took. I had to stop my children from collecting birthday gifts in school, no matter what the gift is. Sometimes, a group of high-minded parents can indirectly take over the school management from school proprietors and start influencing every decision taken, from school uniforms to send-off parties. Parents must be seen to be part of their children's decisiion making at their formative stage.
