eejo: Many people feared killed as hausa and fulani attack Bagana, burning houses. The lgalas with Idoma retaliate, killing many Hausas and Fulanis.
The war is hot as people in large numbers flee the area.
The Nigeria army in the area could not do anything as the both sides use heavy weapon during fighting.

What do you think? This is exactly the mentality most of our political leaders rule this country with, and that is why Nigeria has failed its citizens. I don't blame him, simply because he is opportune that's why he made such comments. |

Ishilove: Three female police officers who went to make an arrest at Oregbeni quarters in Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo State were on Wednesday beaten and stripped naked.
The police officers are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
They were invited by a landlady in the area to arrest one of her tenants when a fracas ensued.
The Nation gathered that trouble started when the tenant insisted on taking her bath before going to the police station but the police officers said she should follow them.
A fracas ensued and other residents in the area joined the tenant to beat and stripped the police officers.
The landlady who gave her name as Mrs. Okebuse said she invited the police because she had given the tenants quit notice.
She said, “When the police came to make arrest, they started fighting the police. I ran for my life and hid in the other compound.”
An eyewitness said the landlady uses police to harass her tenants.
“The woman was taking her bath and the police officers refused to allow the woman to take her bath,” the eyewitness said.
The state’s Police Commissioner, Foluso Adebanjo, who expressed disappointment at the attack, said the police would not take the attack likely.
Adebanjo said the attackers would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
He said suspects arrested have already been charged to court.

Enosa1: Walking through the streets of Benin, many streets in Nigeria-infact many parts of the world-its not uncommon to see little children ranging from 5-13yrs hawking goods like purewater, groundnut. Some are also bus conductors.
Whenever I see such, two thoughts flash through my mind. One is: Patronize this little child so he/she get home on time. The other:don't patronize the little child,in that way, you discourage such practice.
So nairalanders, what do you do in such cases? I think it's better to deal with an ailment head on instead of battling with the symptoms. |

Nairaland General › Re: Pregnant Woman Dies After Marathon Sex With Strange Lover by link2jude(m): 12:20am On Nov 15, 2014 |
[quote author=AINATOLULOPE post=28016895] https://www.addictinginfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/A00051.jpgAn unnamed man has landed in trouble in Onitsha, Anambra State after he was accused of having marathon sex with a woman who was carrying 7 month pregnancy and who died after the act.According to a report published by the Vanguard newspaper on Friday, 14 November, 2014, the police in Anambra State are interrogating the accused to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of the late pregnant woman. It was gathered from a police source that the young man had allegedly taken the deceased to an undisclosed hotel in Onitsha, only for the hotel staff to discover that the woman was dead in the morning. The incident, the source said, occurred on Tuesday when the man allegedly checked into the hotel with the heavily pregnant woman, only to find out in the morning that his partner could not wake up on Wednesday morning. Though the police in Onitsha Area Command refused to give details on the incident, a resident of the area said the suspect and the deceased were just love birds. He said the suspect had lodged into the hotel room and invited the deceased through a phone call. The source further faulted rumours that the woman died as a result of charms made by her husband, adding that it was possible that the woman died of exhaustion from the marathon sex romp. He urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the corpse of the victim is said to have been deposited in an undisclosed mortuary in Onitsha by the police because the relative of the deceased has not been identified. Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Uche Ezeh, said the command received the information concerning the incident, disclosing that the suspect had been arrested and case transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, Awka, for further investigations. - http://www..net/apps/forums/topics/show/13066882-pregnant

DjAndroid: We were chatting last night when My neighbour, a single female banker told me what they (single ladies ) are facing in her office.
She said, despite most of them being beautiful, their male customers always prefer and go after their cleaners, messengers and security personnel instead of the polished bankers.
She said that she has witnessed about 6 weddings of their cleaners who got married to their customers.
She was asking if men think they will be very expensive to maintain due to the way they dress.
After so much talk I didn't just know what to tell her.
Guys, Any opinion why this happens ? Please can I have the name and branch address of the Bank, who knows after visiting the bank, I might just turn around the trend. |

Romance › Re: Dating A Broke Guy(my Experience); Is It Worth It? by link2jude(m): 8:39am On Oct 01, 2014 |
OlamiB: I Just don't know why broke guys wants to have a girlfriend too, before you start complaning let me quickly tell you am actually dating one
Guys jump into conclusion that girls don't want to date a broke guy simply because he has nothing to offer financially, but this is not true in all cases, a girl that loves you sees you in her future like her husband. She wants the best for you cos she sees you in her future, a girl can date a broke guy but no girl will intentionally marry a broke man.
I love my broke boyfriend because firstly am not dating him for financial reason and 2ndly because I see a bright future in him, but one thing remain, I can't marry him if he continues being broke.
I have stopped condemning girls that doesn't settle for less, there are so many disadvantages of dating a broke guy namely:
*talk about a boring relationship; when your female friends are going places with their rich bf, you are just there lying on his bed staring at each other's faces in his heated room.
*your friends will not respect him; by the time your female friends get to know about his brokeness the respect will just not be there anymore, girls love each other and they want the best for each other.
*he will always disgrace you; yes! This is most annoying, a little amount of money will cause fight between you two, imagine asking your broke boyfriend to at least present himself in a wealthy way to impress your female friends by buying provision or something for them will make him tear you apart.
*he commands too much respect; this is funny, even rich guys that can afford to buy expensive things for their woman doesn't command as much as him, I guess this is done so you won't disregard him.
*he will naturally look stingy to you ; imagine asking your broke boyfriend to help you with #500 when he himself already has a plan for the only #1000 left with him, this is ridiculous because by the time he decides to impress you with 2000# you won't just be feeling him anymore.
This is just a few of what I can remember now, guys should note that their being financially okay brings a kind of hapiness to their girlfriend/fiancé not only because of what they will enjoy from you but because they see their dream being fufilled through you, you live in the best house, drive the best car and all tell me if ur partner won't be proud to show you off.
I love my baby very much but as little as 100# can cause a misunderstanding btw us. God knows the kind of joy that will fill my heart the day he will be financially ok.
'it takes a real woman to date a broke guy and help him fufil his dream'
All this is written from the sadness of my heart.
I guess some guys don't understand me, I am only asking the guys to be rich for their own good not because of a leech girlfriend/fiance. Nigerian men are quick to insult any girl that comes here to talk about money in a relationship. I am not after my Boyfriend's money or anything, his happiness is mine also and I know he will be happy by the time he is financially ok to cater for all his own needs and beyond.
If you become financially successful it is your name that will be known not your wife's name talkless of a girlfriend, that is why I used Dangote and ADenuga as example...how often do you guys hear of Mrs dangote or Mrs adenuga? Is it as often as both men? NO! And in case the woman is as sucessful as the likes of omotola jalade, ngozi iweala their man is as successful as them. Whether broke or not, an average lady would desire a Prince to be her bf but she herself is not a Princess. |
