baby4u2: You have your reasons to be scared about your girl. But why bring Benue girls into this? If its not calabar, its igbo, or so on and so forth. There is no where you will go that you wont find promiscious girls. If you are totally concerned about easy access to your girl, leave her and let her be. Dont spoil our name here please, r. |

2tek: i use two sims mtn nd glo.at a time i was so pissed off wt my mtn that i contempleted dumping my mtn sim until i met my friend who is a business analyst. He adviced me otherwise,i was not satisfied, i had to call mtn 180(thank God a male rep picked my call) nd he gave me a break down of some of their products\services. also visited mtn office nd complained abt their call rate,d guy i met, really took his time to explain and also gave me some handbills. My analyst friend talKed abt MTN being a BRAND PRODUCT(1st choice) considering their subscriber base 0803,0806,0703,0706,0813,0816,0810(each number range holds 10million customers).he said Any BRAND PRODUCT must have done smthing extra or paid extra money to attain that status. He adviced me NEVER to expect any BRAND PRODUCT to b the cheapest in d market. He queried,do u think nokia/samsung/blackberry are the cheapest phones in d market, why do u think pple prefer them to others.do u think toyota/honda are the cheapest, why do u think pple prefer .Do u think hp/dell ar cheaper than acer\IBM, WHY DO PPLE prefer them. Any ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT knows they can not operate at d same price wt d BRAND nd remain in business. The brand wl always give u smthing extra.will the fact dat u refuse 2 invite 2face to your show make him reduce his price tag or does d fact dat u refuse 2 attend covenant university make them reduce their school fees(for those who hv stopped recharging their MTN).While u think u've stopped recharging, multinationals, other pple ar queueing up daily enmasse 4 their services.IT IS THE BITTER TRUTH. From d handbill, (A)MTN PayGo(text 400 t0 131) allows 6family\friends @20kb\sec,MTN TalkOn(text 401 to 131) allows u make calls at #15/min after d 1st minute @ 50kb/sec.Both PayGo nd TalkON allows free midnight calls,12:30am to 4:30am -have minimum of #100 credit. I was charged recently for midnight call, i called 180 nd my money was refunded 24hrs later(thanks to competition). For those looking 4 bonus nd promo,u can make calls without worrying abt your airtime/credit after buying a bundle.u can buy an MTN bundle 2 get more value for your money (a)HAPPY BUNDLE @ #400/30days,text HAPPY to 131, u'll get 1320 on-net secs nd 30SMS. (B)FUN BUNDLE @ #1,500/30days, text FUN to 131,get 3,600 on-net secs nd 200 on-net sms. (C) SMART BUNDLE, text SMART to 131 @ #6,000 / 30days get 15,000 national(u can use it 2 call oda networks) secs nd 250 national(u can also sms oda network) sms.MTN browsing in my area ROCKS LIKE ROCKET, its 3G/EDGE.No oda network comes close. This guy na mtn agent. Which kin marketing u wan give us e no go work o. Mtn is crap charging u without mercy, screw brand name, who needs brand name when an alternative gives the same service for a better rate. What extra thing those MTN gives its subscribers for the exorbitant call rates? |

Politics › Re: Fashola's Lawless State: The Okada Menace. by linkin8k(m): 10:14pm On Jul 27, 2011 |
proO1: So because you own a tokunbo car, you are so smug as to suggest that okada should be banned. That is the problem with Nigerians: very selfish, insensitive and uninterested in the plight of others. Any sensible person should first suggest alternatives before talking about outright ban; common sense suggests that one shouldn't put the cart before the horse. If there are better alternatives, okada would die a natural death - after all, there is no such thing as 'okada' in functional societies with advanced mass transit and urban transportation systems. The government didn't have to ban molues; molues died a natural death with the introduction of BRT and LAMATA buses. Same should be the case with okada.
If you know how big Lagos is, how poor most Lagosians are, how shambolic the transport system/infrastructure is, how frustrating the perennial traffic gridlock is, how great the number of 'car-less' workers is, how important okada is for most workers in getting to work on time and returning home on time, then you would NOT even whisper anything close to banning okada. For most people, Okada is a crucial saving grace. The accidents are not an issue since they are not unique to okadas alone; accidents happen everyday involving cars and buses too. It should be goveernment's duty to ensure that only qualified people can operate commercial motocycles, and that they obey traffic regulations. Failing in that duty will not be mitigated by the st.u.p.id and easy option of simply banning a means of transportation that is critical for a majority of Lagosians.
It would be great to see one person who doesn't own or have access to a private car advocate the banning of okada. These selfish peeps who want okada banned because they own cars and would not suffer the consequent difficulties of okada ban make me sick. We should always consider the plight of others when taking a position on these kinds of issues. Very true |

sadyeek: Dude, they are fighting for sharia law to be implemented in only some northern states not all Nigerians, HABA!!! Una no dey shame sometimes to be making false statements and accusation. They are fighting for it cuz it would better their our way of life and living(I'm not talking about IMO or ABIA, in the north and Muslims).
Just for the record, I am not in support the way they want to achieve this aim,
Sanusi, on the other hand is pushing the banking thing for economic growth, The north doesn't consist of muslim people only, lot of christians and non-believer live there o. How will sharia better lifes? Sanusi is just making the wrong moves in the banking world. Look at the price of a dollar now! Why is he preventing the circulation of dollar support the way they want to achieve this aim, Sanusi, on the other hand is pushing the banking thing for economic growth,

The north doesn't consist of muslim people only, lot of christians and non-believer live there o. alj harem: when this was done in the niger delta, Mr president immediately stopped them. Now it is borno he has reasons to wait
rubbish. see my people dying Allah punish those soldiers a thousand times let them stop protecting and habouring these terrorists first. Wat happen in ND cant be compared to wat BH is doing. Millitants didnt kill and terrorize innocent people. Even before the bomb blast in Abuja by ND millitants during independence day people were warned about it and told not to be there that day. cogitoErgo: I tnk all hausa/fulanis are BokoHaram! My reason? BH wants SHARIA LAW imposed on all Nigerians, by force. Hausa/fulanis, their emirs, religious leaders, technocrats, elders, youths, etc, are fighting tooth and nail to ensure that SHARIA LAW is imposed on all Nigerians. So you can see, BH is just a means of spreading a northern agenda, just as Sanusi is! True talk |

I manage my Airtel which charges N12 per min to any network after the initial N36 for the first minute. My MTN is just to receive calls which i might soon change and give people my Etisalat number since you get free minutes for receiving calls. But i don't think MTN's internet service can be rivalled although they have bad network at times. How can Etisalat be fast when it only has EDGE network Please which network is faster for internet?? I have Glo, MTn, Etisalat and Airtel sims although airtel's internet is crap |
