Technology Market / Re: How To Get Cheap And Very Efficient VPS by linksman(m): 6:38pm On May 28, 2018
Hi All,
Thanks to the wonderful guys on Nairaland who want to do legit business online and have now found a means to run their business/income generating apps and softwares 24/7 without any interruptions.
Here are some auto income generating apps you can run on your Virtual Private Server(VPS) machine, that makes you a guaranteed income over a period of time:
1. Gift 1
2. Gift 2
3. Gift 3
4. Gift 4
Technology Market / How To Get Cheap And Very Efficient VPS by linksman(m): 2:12pm On Dec 28, 2017
Hello Everyone,
Today I want to show you how you can own your VPS at very cheap and affordable rate as a Naija online hustler who needs to run several apps, softwares and services 224/7 without any stress. No more fear of how do I have the power(electricity-NEPA) to keep my pc up at all times, and best of all; no more fear of lack of/ or insufficient internet data for your pc to stay connected 24/7.
With a VPS, all your worries are over. With less than N1,500 (one thousand five hundred naira) or $4 monthly you are assured of fast, reliable and very efficient VPS.
What is a VPS:
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. It is is a virtual machine sold as a service by an Internet hosting service. A VPS runs its own copy of an operating system (OS), and customers may have superuser-level access to that operating system instance, so they can install almost any software that runs on that OS.
In simple language, a VPS is your remote computer that you can access from anywhere using your login details (just like RDP). It can be in any country of your choice as provided by the operators. For example, my guys provide servers from 3 countries for you to choose from.
Also, you have a choice of choosing which operating system you want your remote computer to run on(windows or linux). You can also choose your remote computer specifications based on speed and performance.

Now, What are VPS used for?
They are used for running softwares, apps, automated bots, hosting services etc.
For instance, I use it to run my crypto mining apps, ad bots, forex bots and a whole lot other softwares that I want to have running 24/7 that will be generating money for me online even when I am asleep.
I also use it to do alot of heavy downloads. With my guys, you can do unlimited downloads on your VPS.

Now that you know what a VPS is and what you can do with it, I recommend, you get started right away by signing up for free with my guys at: Click Here

Now, after signing up, you need to place your order for the VPS you want and my guys only accept payments via paypal.
No worries my Naija peeps, if you do not have a paypal account yet, just go to www.paypal.com to create your paypal account. Then verify your paypal account by using your supplied email address and your phone number.
Once this is done, then add your bank debit card details(your atm card) to your paypal account. You can do this under the "attach card" section of your paypal account.
What this means is that, when you want to pay for your VPS, the operator will direct you to their paypal payment gateway; where you will be asked to enter your paypal login details. Once you are logged in to your paypal account, you will be asked to authorize the transaction.
Once this is done, Paypal will now charge the amount to your bank account via the debit card you provided.
This is instant, and you just purchased your VPS for one month.
Please make sure you have the equivalent naira value of the cost of the VPS which is in US dollars in your naija bank account. For instance, if you purchase a $4 VPS service, that would be like 4x350 = 1400 naira.
This means you must have a minimum of N1,400 in your bank account for the transaction to go through.
When you make payment, my guys will notify you of your purchase via your email address you used during registration of your account. They will also use your email address to send you your VPS login details and other relevant information.
Now, that was easy as abc!!!!

EXTRA FREEBIES:
If you are into crypto currency like me, I use this provider's app to mine crypto coins like bitcoin, ethereum, monero, bitcoin gold etc. just register for free on their website using this link:
Once, you are registered, then download their app on your VPS, login into the app with your details, select the crypto currency you want to mine, start mining and leave it running 24x7 to make money for you.

Another profitable crypto currency you can mine via your web browser on your VPS 24/7 is jsecoin. you can get started via this link:

@ Pidzo,
I am using this software version : SRT4329_MyTv_201109080830
When installed shows that it is version 1.0.8. I believe this is the current software update out there.
The default factory software version is 1.0.5
What do you think?
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Strong Srt 4329 And 432: S by linksman(m): 11:54am On Mar 01, 2012
srt 4329 is really falling short of my expectation when it comes to manual keys editing or rs232 port settings. Non of the access codes to enter keys works on it.
for example, 8280 for biss key editing does not work. Am I missing something when it comes to 4329?
How I wish I could use the software of srt4300 for 4329. Now that would be so cool.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Strong Srt 4329 And 432: S by linksman(m): 10:12am On Jan 18, 2012
Can any body tell me which code opens up 'options' tab in srt4329? I have tried 8281 and 6969 to no avail. I need to set the rs232 properties plus editing keys function.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Strong Srt 4329 And 432: S by linksman(m): 11:37am On Nov 03, 2011
@ pofolo,
I haven't confirmed yet if srt 4329 can do cardsharing or dongle. but i believe the latest software update should enable those functionalities.
As for srt 4300, I can confirm that it can do cardsharing and dongle. I currently use it for dongle.
with regards to their prices, below is their current prices from Sobis Communications @ Alaba international market, Lagos:

srt 4300 (mpeg2) - N4,500

srt 4329 (mpeg4) -  N8,500

@ all,
mine has audio (shalom tv channel).
maybe you need to check the various audio options(stereo, right, left) using the remote for that particular channel.

@JOY TV,
you guys should try and synchronize the audio and video rate of your "joytv channel". most times, when watching any movies or programmes, i notice that the video is faster than the audio. that is, you see the action before you hear the voice/sound of the action.
cheers and keep up the good work
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Multi Tv Free To Air On Astra 2b by linksman(m): 8:31pm On Jul 21, 2011
@ALL,
I rescanned my multi tv frequency (12551 v 19531) and got some additional channels viz:

TV: CRTV and SHALOM TV

Radio: Atlantis channel (no audio yet)

the crtv and shalom tv picture and sound freezes continously even with good signal strength. all other channels on the multi tv frequency are working perfectly with clear pictures and sound.
CRTV guys to please take note and correct this sudden flaw.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Multi Tv Free To Air On Astra 2b by linksman(m): 5:24pm On Jun 20, 2011
@ dsleezy,
I feel you my broda on this infiniti tv issue. It amazes me how on earth would somebody bring out money to pay for a satellite transponder only for them to broadcast very substandard programming content that would not get any good rating even if they were free for life.
To add insult to injury, the picture quality of their channels is a shame and disgrace to modern digital broadcasters of our time.
makes me wonder if they are a none commercial, non-profit organization?
Imagine most viewers including myself who have dishes locked onto Astra 2B simply delete all infiniti channels after doing a blindscan and leave the rest channels(multitv channels). Yes, they are that bad compared to what we are enjoying from multitv.
Believe me when I tell you that it hurts me real bad to see a Nigerian outfit coming out with such baaaaad packaging. Makes me want to hide my head when I see what broadcasters from other African countries are transmitting even if it is a single channel.
MY ADVISE TO INFINITI TV:
1. Get right digital equipment that would guaranty very good sharp and crisp picture quality

2. Combine all their channels into one single multi variety channel that has everything from news, sports, movies, documentaries, cartoons, sit-coms, dramas, live events broadcast, talkshows, religious programmes, musicals etc.

Believe me, I want infiniti tv to succeed. They really have to do a "round about" turn in their approach to setting up a viable, attractive, appealing and ultimately profitable broadcast outfit, be it digital or analogue.
Peace all. grin

Satellite TV Technology / Re: Laptop Port For Connecting Receiver by linksman(m): 2:13pm On Feb 03, 2011
@Geman,
to start with, your laptop does not have a serial port!!!
the 15 hole slot on your laptop is the external VGA port. It's used for connecting your laptop display to an external monitor or screen.
as Lov4sat suggested, you need a USB 2 Serial adapter that will allow you use any usb port on your laptop to connect to the serial interface of your receiver.
just go to any computer accessory shop and ask for it. if possible ask for the brand "BAFO".
hope this helps.
cheers grin
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Mytv Subsidized Receiver Upgrade/Swap by linksman(m): 8:14pm On Jan 14, 2011
@All,
I was at strong's office at alaba international market, and the personnel there told me that I have to meet this criteria to qualify for swapping my old srt for the mpeg 4 srt.

CONDITIONS:

1. Must have loaded/ recharged your mytv smartcard a minimum of seven (7) times

2. Old srt + remote must be in good working condition

3. Cost of swapping original strong box = N4,000

4. Cost of swapping fake strong box = N6,000

For now, non of srong's mega dealers at alaba international market like sobis communications are doing the swapping programme.

Cheers all

@All,
I am currently experiencing cracking pictures on my GTV channel using srt4653X box. the signal keeps fluctuating constantly between 26% - 69%. one moment the signal is green, then goes red and then comes green again. it's a continuous vicious cycle. is any one else also experiencing this odd occurrence?

@ INFINITY CREW,
Why is the picture quality of Superscreen suddenly become poorer compared to that of Galaxy tv? Kindly standardize the picture quality for all channels in your bouquet.

My Tv has just reduced their subscription. It is now #1,900 naira. The new price takes effect as from today 3rd December.
Let the subscription price war begin!!!!!
Oya, dstv and hitv, we are waiting to see your response.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: All About Multi Tv Free To Air On Astra 2b by linksman(m): 6:10pm On Dec 03, 2010
@the INFINITY Crew,
well done on the improvement of picture quality for your Galaxy tv & Superscreen tv channels.
I will advice you work together with the guys at nollywood worldwide entertainment to provide high quality content for your 9ja tv channel.
On a final note, you would do yourself a world of good if you can add one quality foreign movie channel like mbc2 that shows current movies. What you currently have is a total let down for lovers of foreign movies.
My guys, make una wake up. If you truly want to be attractive, then I suggest you start making your programme offerings very irresistible. The simple reason why the likes of dstv are a viewers delight is because they offer qualitative and current programmes in all genres be it movies, music, documentaries and of course sports.
Best of luck.

@ all,
the new olive tv channel cracks up like crazy on my 4653x. since I tracked it, I have not seen anything but static freezing pictures on it.
I wonder why someone would waste money on a transponder to transmit very bad pictures.

Satellite TV Technology / Re: What Channels Can One Receive With A Yagi Antena And A Strong Box by linksman(m): 12:10pm On Oct 21, 2010
@ ALL,
Yagi antenna is used for receiving both analogue and digital:
1. Terrestrial and
2. Cable signals.
some broadcasters do transmit their signals via digital terrestrial platforms (an example is star times) and as such you would require a digital terrestrial receiver denoted by DVB-T in order to receive the broadcast.

others use digital cable platform (an example is disc engineering in Lagos) to broadcast their signals. one needs a digital cable receiver denoted by DVB-C in order to pick these signals.

I know for a fact that it you need a dish to pick digital satellite signals. and the receivers for this type of transmission are always denoted by DVB-S.
I have not seen where a DVB-S receiver is being used to pick terrestrial or cable signals. I stand to be corrected.
what we have mostly in the eastern and northern parts of Nigeria are analogue terrestrial broadcasters.
cheers all

@ FTAlover,
manually enter this settings for infinity tv into your multitv decoder box and the scan.
Frequency = 12543, Polarity = H, symbol rate = 20784

@ all,
I finally got round to pointing my pas 10 ku band dish to astra 2B yesterday morning after a slight downpour.
I was amazed at how easy it was for me to track the bird. within minutes, i nailed the bird using multi tv frequency 12550 V 19519.
I was able to get a signal quality of 86% using my xcruiser 200 mpeg2 receiver and a 60cm dish.
using the infinity tv frequency above, i got a signal quality of 67%.
I got all multi tv channels (tv and radio), and infinity channels as well.
presently i am not watching any multi tv channels because they are mpeg4 signals. i can only get audio but no pictures.
the only mpeg2 channels i am currently watching are all infinitv channels. they include, kinlosele(yoruba channel), odenigbo (igbo channel), infinity sports, click (cartoons), another children channel (forgotten the name), switch (naija music channel), vive, infinity extra/african movies (home video movies) and loveworld plus (religious channel).
funny enough my blind scan did not bring up GTV or lmtv. i will enter their frequencies manually later tonight to see if they will pop up.
I am hoping to lay my hands on my brand new xcruiser 350 HD receiver by next week, so i can start enjoying the full package available free on astra 2B.
cheers all

Satellite TV Technology / Re: How To Set Up A Digital Terrestrial Cable Tv Network (dvb-t) by linksman(m): 11:50am On May 20, 2010
Hi Mercussey,
I applaud your effort in trying to teach people how DVB - T works.
The truth is most people including yours truly want to know how to receive free signals from Digital terrestial providers using our DVB-T receivers.
I am not interested in setting up any Digital terrestial service provision outfit at the moment. I am sure that you are aware of the financial implication of what you are proposing. Not every dick and harry can afford to set up a digital terrestial service.
I know you have the technical know how since you work for/with CTL. So, I implore you to use your knowledge to benefit the general populace in the spirit of true FTA.
I already own a digital terrestial receiver, and i am sure so do many others in this forum. show us how to get the best out of our equipment and not how to become a provider.
cheers man.
