I am a past recipient of this scholarship and I can tell u that NDDC does not have any affiliation with the UK embassy as getting the visa is entirely up to you.
As regards the TB test, I suggest you book a test at one of the test centers and do it whole waiting .
If the balance of your scholarship stipend is less than the required amount needed for upkeep than I also suggest you have an alternative plan.
I believe the list will be out this week though even people working in the education department have no idea when the list will be released. As of late last week the list was already with the MD for approval so Fi gers crossed

thanks bro..I wana ask,what if the balance u have on d scholarship letter is just 100pounds short of the required amount,will d embassy not allow that or they will insist u show the balance in ur acc

sifo: Bros he didn't just say uniport he said Institute of Petroleum studies (IPS) uniport. Go make enquiries about the progam bro its way better than most UK unis for sure. I support 4mula22's statement fully. No be just to go get degree come house come dey find job again, u also need to consider the employment opportunities afterwards.

Any which way,the sms n letters will come...if. It wouldn't..they will not start or conduct interviews...my only prob is that they should have informed successful ones early enough so they could find money go do visa,flight n small pocket money--whch is an average of 400k,since d scholarship doesn't cover that #countdown

cabaye: can any one clarify to me how Nddc makes payments to the schools they are affiliated to. do they pay before service or pay after service ?? (they pay to the school as soon as they confirm you are in the UK or they pay before you depart)

my reason for asking this question is that this budget stuff you guys are arguing about doesn't have any relationship with Nddc scholarship. the decision is left to Nddc to decide on.

cabaye: if you get the scholarship next week ,its either you show proof of partial payment for your desired university or you accept a course from any of the Nddc universities.

By the way reliable info says: they went on a tour to UK last week to see scholars and when asked..they replied that they would soon contact us...so pem! God is in charge

Those that are writing petitions..hmmm una get mind oo..instead of praying to God to favour u. See NDDC owe u noting infact the government owes u noting...writing at dis point will amount to noting...just keep hope alive,source for the right information on the state of things,pray,gather money and WAIT..what will happen will happen...be wise!

many are called, few are chosen. no body knows what parameters they are using but using l.g.a to favour candidates doesn't make sense. the truth is is either you are favoured by man or by God when it comes to Nddc. just believe you would be amongst the final 200.cheers

I remember d interview hw some of ma friends were bounced because of management or hse courses...omen..I thank God o..I got an unconditional admission in 2days n ma interview went well,I thank God......I heard oil n gas producing lgas are favoured,any truth?
