It's true, that show is very touching. Two sides to every story, some children are very disrespectful to their parents, only for them to turn around & pull out the victim card. When I watch it, I listen to both sides & decide for myself. Because the "complainant", is some of the cases, is usually the shìt starter.

I agree with you. Have you seen le ka Dineo Ranaka? I haven't watched but ingathi it's a similar show. How about Nimrod Nkosi's utatakho? Lol.

It does hey. Not everyone lives a picture perfect life. Some of the stories can bring out a tear or two lol.

Siyambongela hawu, hawu grin

Yho, say that again. I used to think Khumbulekhaya was depressing but hay Mam Angie and her gang take the cake lol. Uthanda ukuthi everytime that woman appears on TV, "oh God! Here she goes , someone somewhere is going to cry anytime now" grin grin.

Lol@ hawu hawu.

They need Mam' Angie grin

But ke perhaps the pride is really because only they know their situation & for her to make it this far despite whatever could be going on in their lives, is truly commendable.

Lol, yho that show depresses me like hell. I can't watch it grin.

Ja ne , she did well shame.

Exactly. Khumbulekhaya type of vibe all over this. Must have been one of those mothers who chose men over their kids.

I sense that as well, now she wants to look good among her friends .

A woman is often seen as a nurturer & a protector, but some can be deadbeats just like many sperm donor fathers out there. IDK their issue or what really went down between them to make this daughter this angry, but I do understand & have seen how broken some families are. We have several TV shows that focus on restoring these broken family bonds & the things you hear are most times very heartbreaking. I hope they thrash out & squash whatever their problem is, because at the end of the day you only get one mother in a lifetime

There is something really big behind the daughter's anger. I don't think she would react this way because of a birthday party or for being locked outside on a " Wednesday". I mean , how many stories like that have we heard ?. Mama must confess lol.

Family / Re: “children Are A Burden. They Slow Down Careers & Are Time Consuming” - Lady by Lionessza(f): 7:46am On Mar 08, 2018
Not every woman is meant to be a mother and a wife . If she feels the best way she can add value to her society is by using her skill to heal people, then she should be left alone to do what really fulfills her not what society expects of her. The people insulting her are usually those who are caged by societal expectations , who are really afraid of choosing different paths , the road not travelled. The " you will change your mind in time and it will be too late , or " you will regret it later" people , are insecure people who feel they know better than the individual in question. There are so many women out there who have had kids and regretted it , some dump them in dustbins , some leave them with relatives etc. Some keep them but take out their frustration on them ( if it weren't for you , I would have been the top engineer at my firm). She will forget it's not the child's fault but her inner weaknesses that made her bow to the pressures of society.

If you know motherhood and marriage aren't for you, then do what makes you happy and forget the hostages of religion and culture. Many are actually very miserable and want you to join them grin.

Romance / Re: My Wife Pretended To Be Innocent Until I Married Her by Lionessza(f): 7:03am On Mar 08, 2018
LOL, there are still men out there that believe hymen equals good wife ? cheesy. Anyway , you make marriage sound like purchasing a car. " I asked my parents to look for a wife for me". Basically you are a lazy man. You wanted a robot for a wife , " she must come in to my house and do what is expected of her , no deviating from the script ". You sound like you didn't even want a wife but felt the pressure from society * time to marry*, hence you married a total stranger all because she had a hymen and is from the village (guaranteed to be obedient and grovel when you start shytting on her grin). It seems like your purchased slave has turned you into a slave yourself grin. Shut up and get to work lol.

Speaking on literacy rate. People who can read and write does not translate to people who are educated. Nigerians are more educated than South Africans. Hardly, will a Nigerian settle for high school without furthering education to University level. Our challenge in figures come from Northern Nigeria.

Sweety , we know what being literate means and we know the importance of it. I will await proof all the things you claimed , please put it all in that one post . Whether North or South , we are talking about Nigeria and we know nothing about how you classify each other nor do we care.

Everything you put up there SA is not any better than Nigeria besides the ELECTRICITY.

If Nigeria were to be the popation of South Africa, the electricity generated will be more than enough. SA is around 60 million while Nigeria is over 180 million people

LMFAO, atleast now you've stopped fishing for random story. So you are ready to play numbers?.

I don't get satisfied with people's opinions , I belive in facts . So, to prove your point. Get me those stats from Nigeria only , I will bring you the numbers from SA . Deal ? grin. You were not so busy when you dug out stories from years back , so don't give me that excuse . Go dig up naija numbers and table them here .

Also include the electricity you generate .

Thank you in advance.

Dude , you can't post random stories I can't even verify are from South Africa. Show me my request below and stop picking up random stories .

Show me the following to prove your " superiority" grin;

1. The percentage of both country's people with access to 24hrs of electricity.
2. The percentage of of people with access to water and sanitation in both countries .
3. The literacy rate of both countries.
4. The minimum wage of both countries.
5. The access to free good health care in both countries
6. Access to better transportation systems in both countries.
7. Who is more likely to walk on a dirt road? grin.
