Guy man, those two countries have very bad economies in EU. It is only your best choice if:
1. You are looking for where you can easily get visa to
2. You have all the money to soldier it until you start seeing clearly.
3. You get a fully funded scholarship.

As at 2022 when I visited Greece, a Greek friend I met made me really understand how pitiable the Greek economy was. His wife, a medical doctor, was earning less than 2000 usd (according to him). He had a Masters degree and his salary was somewhere around 1,000-1,200 usd.

Even countries like Poland and Czech republic, though not so good, are better than those two countries mentioned up there. look towards the likes of Germany and Switzerland instead, they are free tuition (make thorough research to find every other info you seek).

Countries like Sweden, if you manage to enter, won't restrict you from working, so long as you attend classes and pass your exams.

Make sure you find out the reality on ground from residents of a country before you move. A lot of people will come online to paint the fairy tale story (which may happen, but rare). If you follow only the sweet stories, your abroad experience will be like stone in your mouth. Plan carefully.

Browsing the swedish job market in search of openings for a material scientist may give you a hint on the answers you seek. I must warn, to really build a career here, you need to take your language classes seriously.

Your brother is either not informed, or he lied. He can start working as soon as he gets his personnummer (only very few employers will employ you without this), and the truth is that it could take between 1 week and up to 4 months to get this, depending on a lot of factors. Aside this, you can secure a black job and earn cash, or illegally rent another person's documents, or get a job and use alternatives to receive salary if the company is cool with you once you show them your study permit

What he is describing is a situation whereby you switch permit from study to work. That is only allowed after you have successfully completed 30 credits of study (which takes about 3 months). But that is a different thing altogether and has nothing to do with you being able to get any kind of job. Also, to get a work permit, you must be earning a certain minimum salary. And with full work permit, you cease to pay school fees,

-Sweden has taken a tougher stand on immigration now, especially for some countries.
-People who have B.Eng, with 14 years banking experience, and still applied for MSc in Engineering in Sweden are not stupid, that is the way to go. the swedish educational system looks at your academic background to judge your future. In places like America, they consider your work experience, but Sweden looks at it like, "how can an arts student want to study masters in Engineering, even if you have worked for Engineers for 20 years?
-The bureaucratic delays is part of the swedish system, if you are not patient, then learn it, if you don't want to, then don't think of Sweden.
- Somehow Sweden tries to verify, as much as they can, your claims. Thus doing "wayo" you cannot defend may affect your future in Sweden.
-If you start with a story, remember it and stick to it. If for any reason you want to change your story, back it up with concrete evidence.
- the best way to deal with Sweden is to be informed, and go ahead of them and start strategizing, let them always meet you in front, if you let them meet you where you are, you will most likely be caught off-guard.
- On the average, Swedish case officers follow the law to the letter, so, you have to know the law. if you are in doubt at any time, ask them.
- They are constantly updating themselves of our updates. They know us to a large extent.
- Don't put all your hope on them, they can fail you at any time and keep a straight face, or even smile at you.

I am positive you will succeed given your strategy, but don't be too optimistic in terms of job, just prepare for anything and hope for the best. I'll suggest you start applying for jobs now, I mean now.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you find yourself in any confusing spot, or need advice on certain peculiar issues. The law is a little dynamic and few things are changing, but not for you as a student.
Also, prepare yourself for the cold, it's not like you think it, it is a little worse, unless you have been to a cold country before- even though here the south is the warmest while the North is coldest. But all the same, as a Nigerian, you have what it takes to succeed.

Honestly, I think the government should rather support local company to match DSTV and drive them out of business, not mandating a company you did not give money to start their business on how to set prices.

They are only bent on sponsoring terrorism. A friend of mine, an iranian, tells me how much the government sends to terrorists. You will never believe the figures. Both in cash (as in cash), gold, oil, and weapons. He told me France seized 2 shiploads of weapons being shipped to terrorists recently. And in that, it means they actually sent about 6 (says that is there strategy). Also, a shipload of gold bars (ship full of gold) was also seized en route to terrorists. The corruption there makes Nigerian politicians holier than King David of the Christian bible. As at last month or so hit 100,000 iranian currency.
