If the kids are with the man or if he drops the kids with a relative, the man will still be forced to take financial responsibility for the kids.

When the women leave with the kids, the man simply abandons the financial responsibilities of the kids for the woman to bear.

I have seen many divorced women do things they normally will not do just to feed their kids. This is after the fathers abscond after divorce and move on with other women.

By saying nobody can take care of a child like the mother, you are repeating the lines these women tell themselves that make them take in financial burdens of the children, a burden that in many cases is beyond their capacity.
I bet you did not get my drift. I was simply telling you why the women go with the kids I am neither support nor dissuading them.

How well can a mother take care of a child without the required finance?

It hurts when the trust is broken that is why some women leave a cheating husband.

However life later force such women to either become someone else side chick or a second wife. So the women do not really escape sharing the men.

What can the women really do? It is a man's world in Africa so it is more difficult for women to survive and take care of the kids alone. The first mistake they make when leaving is that they take the kids along.

To me, if a woman is leaving a man because he is cheating, she should leave the kids for him and bother only about herself.

I will be 40 on Oct 19 this year and I am scared the kind of life I have always desired may not be
achievable. Let me list these things that worries me so that you can probably advise me or assist me in achieving any of them.
1) By 40 I had wished I will be living in my house with cars in my garage
Current situation- I am a salary earner who eagerly waits for the salary to drop before my family can eat conveniently every month.
2)I love cars and driving. Was thinking of getting a good car for Uber business.
Current situation- I have not been able to gather enough money to buy a car for Uber or personal use.
3)Seeking greener pasture abroad.
Current situation- I have not been able to have enough disposable income to even get a passport to start with in the first place.
4)Self development. I had interest in programming so I decided to learn coding and all that. I started with free code camp and also this thread by iyenimofe on nairaland has been so helpful https://www.nairaland.com/1383359/learn-web-design-live-nairaland/6#17571611
The issue I have progressing is that of enough data subscription to watch more tutorials.
5)Acquisition of at least Masters.
I have a passion for learning and self development but I struggled to have my HND with distinction. Gathering enough funds to start my masters program has been an uphill task.

Little about my background
I am an HND graduate
I have a sister who am responsible for also.
I have a wife and two kids.
I work 8-5weekdays

Anambra was so stagnant that he took Anambra from number 26 in WAEC to number one in Nigeria back to back, just as kids in Anambra state came first in Nigeria in the National Common Entrance examination during his tenure or why do you think Anambra State still has till date, the highest cut off mark in the National Common Entrance examination followed by Imo State unlike some states that are okay with their mediocrity, whose kids needs to score less than 5 to stand a good chance of being admitted into Kings College or Queens College Lagos while a child from Anambra State who scores 140 is not even sure of being admitted into those schools......I guess that is one of your reflection of a state that is stagnant and suffering.

Peter Obi took labor party from obscurity to national force single-handedly within six months without any government, private or individual funding compared to his opponents PDP and APC that spent close to a billion dollars on last elections alone and still could not outcompete Peter Obi . Peter Obi is an enigma and remains my president elect . Imagine what such a man would do to economy and security of Nigeria within six months if he becomes president
