NIS Recruitment is not cancelled. It has been resolved yesterday. The APLs and Training for Monday still stands. NSCDC has started their promotion as I speak now (I'm in their HQs now). The Replacement list is at the moment been deliberated upon and will be decided if to be pasted between today to Friday 22nd. I'll update the house as event unfolds.. Just pray hard so that they will start sending text immediately.

Well, my people I think lawal4green is partially right about his last post on nscdc but that is not to say that nothing will happen this week. My NIS agent called me this weekend and made me understand that the 25th May, 2015 camp training scheduled for us shortlisted to collect our APLs might be cancelled because some politicians under the guise of eliminating corruption want to skew the recruitment process to their advantage before may 29th. There is confusion even within interior ministry. As far as I know, for now no information is to be relied on 100% until May 22nd as I have repeatedly reiterated. THANKS

Hmm! I just received an info as regards NIS that the some top officials are hijack everything ..may God help us! Those that are interested in the replacement should pray hard. This is one of the reasons behind the delay! Their might be other reasons but this is the main one.

I met her in a church program in December last year. I proposed to her in January and she accepted. my life in the past 4 months with her has been a dream come true. however, something was different about this particular call. I noticed she was uneasy and was kind of trying to pacify the caller with some excuses why she didnt pick his/her call ealier. I got more curios and demanded to know who called. she said it a nobody. I insisted in knowing who she was pleading with.

finally she spoke. my whole world came crashing before me. I was speechless for some time trying to understand the words I heard from a lady I have given my heart to.

she told me the call was a bolt from her past. that she has been looking for how to tell me about it. "I was into women untill three years ago. the guy who called has my pics and is threatening to publish them online to punish me. he wants to link me up to a rich woman but I told him I dont want so he is threatening to deal with me".

I was lost for words. was ds my lady? I was confused. I demanded to speak to d guy myself. she refused. I wanted to explode then she gave me d number. I called d guy and introduced myself and inquired of d guy if what my woman said was true. at ds point d guy flared up calling my woman unprintable words. he angrily told me that my woman came to him long ago and asked him to hook her up with a rich woman. that he wants to punish her for being a lesbian. blah blah blah......so many revelations I cant say her for respect to my woman.

well, the lunch date was ruined already. I coolly but sternly asked her to go home from the restaurant. I was boiling inside. she followed me back to my office. I turned to see her following and wanted to blow up when she calmly said " emmanuel, just know that all ds things happened in the past. am not proud of it but I hv moved on. I came to tell u about it today before d call came in". with that she turned and left. ofcourse d rest of the day wad spoiled for me.

for days I didnt call her. she wud call and end the call when I wouldnt talk much. I was still in shock. d best friend called and pleaded. she said my woman hadnt left her room for days. always crying non stop.

I still love her. I called d guy later and he claimed he was just playing around. dat the pictures he claimed to hv hv long been lost. dat I shud not leave my woman becos of that. that what he did dat morning was to check if my woman was still in that game. I didnt believe him.

anyway I tried to move on with my woman. though I must admit that things are not d way it used to be. I hv lost d enthusiasm.

I was watching man u match this afternoon when my phone rang. it was the same guy. I asked him why he called. he said called to know why am not talking to my woman. I got angry andtold him to stay clear of my life. I cut the call. he then sent me a message that he would like t send me a link to a website so I would get to know whovmy woman truely is.

I called my girl and warned her to ask her friend to leave me alone.

I want to break up from her. pls is ds the right thing to do?

Don't let that woman go, you will never find someone that sincere...if she can tell you this, then she can tell you anything, trust me...

Abi o my sis...must they be taken before the process becomes transparent?...claiming they peeped and saw their interview result, number one excuse of failure, my name did not even come out for cbt self, but i know lots of my friend who got it, and i was even the one who assisted them or told them about the recruitment

I know how you feel bro or sis, I am not saying this recruitment process was without skirmishes, I only said it was the most transparent I have ever witnessed. I wrote the Agip graduate trainee test last year and I am quite confident I did well, till this moment I am yet to get a regret mail. I wrote Ecobank's test and did their interview, no one has contacted me yet, that was 12months ago. WAEC, NYSC etc. do trust me, I know what it feels like. I am not saying don't make a case for yourself, but don't assume, every other person got it through a dubious means.

You can get it if u really want...(that's part of the lyrics of a song)...but you must try, try, try and try....This is an example of someone that got it on merit. A Yoruba adage says " the person who hasn't seen another person's dads farmland will claim that his dad's is the largest... This is life, you win some, you lose some...put yourself together and try again, every one can't be chosen. I know many people who applied last year but were not shortlisted... Don't they deserve the chance to compete? Given that they spent money and went through stress? Stress of being stampeded? They stadium where I wrote mine, were it not for God, I strongly believe at least one lady would have died...many people fell on her and she fainted...first aid treatment had to be given to her. I doubt if she was shortlisted... I even doubt if she actually applied again. While trying to make sure there wasn't I stampede, I almost lost my own life too. Everyone was rushing in, no one cared if anyone was on the ground...enough said

God help us!

I agree with with you,infact no one would want to own up to the fact that they use leg to get the appointment,they would all be saying"I don't know a soul in NIS" infact,they would go to church to do testimony,that they don't know anyone,and you know deep down how you got your appointment. How can you explain how only about 50 was picked from about 700 candidates,how qualified could the people selected could have been? Dem get Doctorate degree ni? Merit my foot. That's the system we found ourselves. Congrats to you if you found your name on the list and if you don't move on,better opportunities ahead.

My sister pls take your mind off federal jobs if you don't have a sure connect, it's as terrible as that. May God help us in this hell of a country. Apllied for compass 08. (Bsc political science, university of ibadan) met all the requirements, blast the interview questions, all my credentials were intact, was totally broke down when the doctored appointment list came out. The rot in this country will take many years to correct.

bro u have said the truth, only few were selected on God's favor. there is nothing on merit here. where I knw that the whole thing is a mess was wen dragnet decided to shortlist about 700 candidates each per state for the fin stage. there is nothing credible here. among this 700 not more than 50 were picked from each state and about 650 candidates were left hrtbroken. had it been dragnet shortlisted reasonable number of ppl fr d interview no one would complain abt d final appointment list. the interview itself was a scam bcs they already have thier desired list to send to abuja. l knw five ppl dt got employed without even filling application form online. Nigeria is a very terrible country. all dsame happy training fr d successful ones.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, personally, i choose to read people's comments rather than commenting, i derived joy from it, though some are irritating, but all the same it's fun. Even as much as i felicitates with the shortlisted candidates over their victory of being employed into NIS. I must categorically say the process was not fair, transparent, and logical. The lucky shortlisted candidates, you guys may not know any person in NIS, and you were picked out of thousand. Oh, just praise your star! But let the truth be told, let's just be sincere to ourselves. There was no due process in that recruitment exercise, and am not saying this because i was not shortlisted for the appointment, off cause mine is coming, but out of what i saw.
You don't say this is the most transparent recruitment process that happened in Nigeria because you were picked. Honestly speaking, i know more than ten people, including two of my friends that went for the interview, but non of them was shortlisted for appointment. In fact, it was only on this platform that i got to know that some people were luckily picked based on merit, if not, i will forever say that the 2000 shortlisted candidates are all JOMBITOS.
Do you know that prior to the released list of shortlisted candidates, a lot of abnormalities happened with NIS site, our names were reshuffled, you can not view names base on state of origin, there was huge increment of names for interview as against the initial numbers that were invited for interview. This alone is enough reason why you should know that the process was tainted. So, guys mek una forget dat tin, na NAIJA we dey. They only picked few candidates based on merit just to cover up their mess, but God dey sha... God pass dem all!

The mere fact that you guys didn't get it doesn't mean there aren't people that did on merit...one of u is claiming that no one got it on merit, sorry for you...that means all those that claimed to have gotten it on merit are liars? Haba, you even said they will go to church and claim they got it on merit when they didn't, has your level of reasoning and morality gone this bad and low? Some years back I applied for NDLEA and FRSC...unfortunately for me, their exams were written on the same day...that was when I actually vowed never to apply for a federal job if I didn't have a contact...During the FRSC training, my ears were filled with how so many people claimed they knew one person or the other, there I was with no one...I felt like a foolish person. These irregularities will never change(fact, deal with it) even when a new administration enters...can Buhari's eyes be everywhere at once?? Buhari can not wipe out corruption if he can't start from the people that backed his entering like the Tinubu's and IBBs and Atiku's...just move on and seek contacts, I sought and I found, u can as well if u really want to get there...

NB: God factor not ruled out but we all know those chances are slim.

You guys should just move one you were lucky to be shortlisted many of those who applied with money last year were not. Best of luck!

Hello brother, FAAN did it. Applicants CBT was made known to them just immediately after the test. The score must not be pasted online, but to our various mails. What's the essence of our e-mail accounts with them? Is't to receive regret mail after all we went through? Not talking of the resources, energy n time exerted, i also had to give myself assurance of getting this job. But all hope is not lost though. Still waiting for more list!

The replacement list which will not be displayed is just for those who ought to have been working since 2013. If you are not among, please forget it and move on...life goes on. I go with mama on this one...after 3 hours journey, mama went to the kitchen suffered to cook for two young people without assistance and the mumu city girl couldn't eat out of her inlaw's food I no gree but her son ate.
