I was in an emergency situation yesterday,
That require cash

I made a transfer of 1000 to a pos yesterday afternoon using GTB or GTCO ussd platform

After waiting for over 2hrs 30mins
The pos people didn’t get the transfer


And someone else transfer using first bank
Which they got instantly,

It was getting embarrassing,
Cause the pos owner was robbed recently
With fake transfer.

It was getting embarrassing just because of 1k
I can’t leave there cause the pos guy will think i came to defraud them and i also need cash to get back home!

In annoyance i went to GTCO official page to lodge a complain!

Just then i got a notification that GT has replied
I was directed to whatsapp
Due to the tense situation i was in
Cause of the pos guys
As they don’t believe i made a real transfer

I just followed up thinking i was chatting with the real customer care on whatsapp!

I just want to get it over with!
Cause of the problem on ground!
I was already been tagged a fraudster
Words like that how they do
They make fake transfer all around

In a nutshell
I gave them OTP using 737
And 9700 was wiped out of my account!


I know someone will say i caused it!
After getting the alert
It dawn on me that it was a fake page that reply my post on GTCO official page.

But Because of the tense situation
I wasn’t able to check the page until after everything

Please how can i make the bank pay for this damages of even refund my money?


Note

1) This scam page has been operating on There Page and the Official GTCO did not find the need to block the scam page off !
It was later i see that the fake page has been operating for about 3 weeks
Posting whatsapp numbers to customers that came to the page to complain


2) Will GTCO say they don’t have an anti-fraud unit that work with EFCC, Police and ICPC
That will enable them trace the Nin that was used to register the sim that scam page has been using on whatsapp!
To the extent of running for weeks
Without nin new sim won’t work
Cause a bought a new sim recently
It was untill i added nin before it was registered


3) If GTCO network was not down for hours
I won’t have go to their social media page to complain:
Why will i do a transfer in an emergency situation around 3pm and the receiver is just getting it around 7pm

I have to trek home begging the pos people that I’m not a fraudster
That the alert will enter
Even after i lost 9700


Can someone please direct me on how i can make the bank pay or even refund my money as that the only money i hope on

Is it advisable to go for a post graduate course or a professional courses just to have an edge in labor market?
