A14: The first is to determine if you're eligible for express entry (minimum is 67) while the CRS score determines if you'll be picked from the pool. The higher your CRS score the higher the probability to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Permanent residence. Every month about two draws take place to select candidates (based on CRS score). The last draw was 440 and the lowest draw so far is 413. Oh !!!, THANK YOU SIR. now it is very clear, my 343 will definately take me no where, the only option now is to get a provincial nominee, please do you know the easiest province that I can get nomination from ? |

yimiton: No ITA yet but we are gathering required document in preparation for ITA.
We have gathered pretty much everything but Proof of funds is still a little issue. We have about 80% of the required funds (T.bills and domiciliary account) but we are concerned about the balance 20. Can we use our pensions' accounts to make up the balance? 25% of our pensions is way more than what we actually need to make up the balance.
Thanks for your anticipated responses. As long as your old passport is electronic, you do not need any form of additional document, just upload the new one |

zandora: Hello all,
I've created this thread for Canadian Express Entry and outstanding FSW 2014 applicants since the previous thread became too long and has now been closed. I've also pasted a PDF link below which details the step by step instructions to apply for the Federal Skilled Workers Program via Express Entry.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4gWGgP8Vy5lSjFoaC01ZUtOaTg/view
In order to apply for Express Entry via FSW you need to first have a minimum of 1 year full time (30 hrs a week) or 2 years part time (15 hrs a week) skilled work experience which falls under NOC code A,B or O. Check for your NOC code below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
Next take your IELTS General test.
Then evaluate your degree or credentials via WES Canada (the best option). See link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
After doing the above, to find out if you've qualified you need to score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 in the FSW grid. Calculate your score below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
Now that you've qualified, you can go ahead and complete your Express Entry profile via the link below: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp
Other things you must have:
Reference letters to verify the work experience you're claiming points for in the specified format below:
Written on company letterhead.
Signed by the responsible officers/supervisor.
Have the printed name and job title of the responsible officer/supervisor beneath the signature.
Show the company’s full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses
Stamped with the company’s official seal (if applicable)
The letter must include 5 things:
Your job title.
The dates of your employment (ideal format: DD/MM/YYYYY).
Your salary per year (or month).
Your average hours per week.
A detailed list of your employment duties.
Next you need to provide police certificates from all the countries you've resided in for 6 months and above since you were 18 years. See link on how to obtain PC from various countries below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/index.asp
Then you need to provide proof of funds for you and/or your family:
Number of Family Members Funds Required (in Canadian dollars) 1 $12,164 2 $15,143 3 $18,617 4 $22,603 5 $25,636 6 $28,913 7 or more $32,191 (I've updated the funds requirement)
Note: Birth certificates are no longer required for applicants but are only now required for your child/children.
Wishing you the best of luck !

Allwility: FortuneTeller, I think it's a good thing you being open here on NL and I must really commend you. If only all women were this open, so many marriages wouldn't crash as in the case of OP. If I may advise, you need to talk to a CATHOLIC priest and hear his views. You and hubby need counseling. Having extra marital affairs would only endanger your home and could lead to a broken home no matter how discrete you are.
OP, your wife's case is something that goes beyond you as a man. Have you watched War Room? I dont know your faith, but you need to pray and seek God's face because there is a God that rules in the affairs of men.
You need divine wisdom to handle this matter. Even if your wife is cheating, I dont think she's doing it with someone she wants to be with. She'd have left you a long time ago. She must have compared you with an ex lover or someone she couldn't get to marry and you came up short. So she's prolly day dreaming of the ex she can't be with. Whatever her reason, this not fair on you.
She needs a hard restart. Send her off to her people for a brief time. When she's ready to come back, call a family meeting. You are the head of your home and deserve to be treated well.
Whatever you do, don't stop praying for her. My thoughts are with you and your family. I salute you for your maturity, I can't just help reading your comment over and over again, : 'Even if your wife is cheating, I dont think she's doing it with someone she wants to be with. She'd have left you a long time ago. She must have compared you with an ex lover or someone she couldn't get to marry and you came up short. So she's prolly day dreaming of the ex she can't be with. Whatever her reason, this not fair on you' . You simply captured it all... Thank you for remembering to respond to my post, as fortuneteller has taken over the thread |

sainty2k3: YES it is not impossible, couples that are AA/AS can give birth to SS , this is how 1. let me differentiate between haemoglobin genotype and haemoglobin phenotype To get a particular GENOTYPE you have to do a genetic testing or use two or more of the screening test (the conventional electrophoresis that we do + HPLC or other similar test) to confirm the true genotype while hb PHENOTYPE is the appearance /characteristics of an individual haemoglobin on conventional electrophoresis which we loosely refer to as GENOTYPE Most times when we call ourselves AA,SS,AS we are actually referring to our Haemoglogin PHENOTYPE and NOT GENOTYPE, as most of us don’t do genetic tests, all we do is haemoglobin electrophoresis 2. lets explain the concept of thalasemic trait. Thalassemias are quantitative defect of haemoglobin which means some one can be AA but the one or both A in this person is is absent otherwise known as thalassemia minor and major respectively. If such person run haemoglobin Electrophoresis( the test that we always loosely regard to as genotype) only A band will be seen and such a person will be regarded as AA. But they are also prone to anaemias and some certain abnormal features in the blood depending on the degree in the reduction in the defective A . such individuals can be Aβ-Thalassaemia(otherwise known as thalassaemic trait) if one of the’ A gene’ is normal, or β-Thalassaemia major if both are affected 3. lets merge the two concepts above and form AND SEE THE DIFFERENT PHENOTYPE THAT EXIST AND THE POSSIBLE CORRESPONDING GENOTYPE If PHENOTYPE is AA the likely GENOTYPES will be AA , Aβ-Thalassaemia If PHENOTYPE is SS the likely GENOTYPES will be SS, Sβ-Thalassaemia (MEANING THE OTHER ‘A’ THAT WOULD HAVE MADE THIS AN ‘AS’ IS TOTALLY ABSENT) Others might include SD,SG etc though these are very rare If PHENOTYPE is AS the likely GENOTYPES will be SA (NOTE – ‘S’ COMES BEFORE ‘A’ BECAUSE THE A IS THALASSAEMIC, THOUGH NOT TOTALLY ABSENT AS THE ONE ABOVE ,IT IS SUSBSTANTIALLY REDUCE), or truely AS 4. Lets assume this our hypothetical couple have Hb eleterophoresis done and was told that the genotype of partner 1 is AA, and that of partner 2 is AS ,but the one that is called AA is actually Aβ-Thalassaemia as ealier mentioned. There possible offspring include I. AA, If the child inherit the normal A from partner 1 and another normal A from partner 2 II. Aβ-Thalassaemia ,If the child inherit β-Thalassaemic A from the partner 1 and normal A from partner 2 III. AS,If the child inherit normal A from partner 1 and S from patner 2 IV. Sβ-Thalassaemia If the child inherit β-Thalassaemic A from partner 1 and S from partner 2 Note that scenario I above will show AA on Hb electrophoresis, scenario ii will show AA on electrophoresis, scenario iii will show AS on electrophoresis and scenario iv will show SS on electrophoresis I have tried to simplify the medical terms but if you still have a doubt or clarification ask and I will try to shed more light, as much as I can. what is the chance of this happening, and when last did we see one |

Family › Re: Has My Wife Been Taking Me For Granted? by lisbonabdulahi(op): 2:36pm On Jul 14, 2017 |
missrational: Dear OP, here are my 2 cents.
Your wife has very serious mental issues and is probably going through much more pain than you can even begin to fathom. If these were the early stages of your relationship, I would have advised you to continue to show her love and insist that she goes through therapy.
But by now it's too late, you have taken on her issues and now they are almost destroying you. I'm also worried about your kids. I think the best course of action for all involved is separation or divorce. Otherwise the less resilient of your kids may end up scarred for life.
Maybe leaving her will force her to get help, maybe it won't. but at this point I think it's fair to say you have done your part for her. As for you, separation from her will also bring you peace. You could still support her from afar, but you have to keep your sanity. This is not a dress rehearsal, you have only one life to live. Thank you so much |

FortuneTeller: Think hard. What has she complained about in the past? What specifically did she say that she doesn't like about you? What is your standard of living? Are you making a good salary or is she forced to work to make up for your salary? I noticed you said she doesn't keep friends. It may be that once she compares the women's lives to hers, she becomes jealous. Are you fat? Do you have good hygiene? There are so many possible issues. I'm sure my husband would tell people he doesn't know why I get so angry with him unprovoked. But the provocation is our lack of quality sex. Sometimes I could spit fire when he says "I love you". It all goes back to that one issue. If you can't talk to your wife, ask her to write a list of things she doesn't like about you and tell her to be completely honest. I have bought a diary and a nice pen around 18 months ago and encouraged her to write her grievances, but I waited and waited and waited, she did not write anything. She just ignored me and the diary. Till now the diary is in her room and empty. Ever heard of tabular rasa ! |

FortuneTeller: You need to learn how to please your wife sexually. I quit having sex with my husband because he's terrible at it. I don't want to waste my time. He's a great person and very kind. But I've lost interest in him due to him sexually for various reasons. He has refused to improve himself in that area, so I don't want to be bothered any longer. If he has sex with another woman, I couldn't care less.
ETA: I just reread your other thread. From everything you say there, it's obvious your wife is cheating on you. She has another man rocking her bed. But then again, maybe not. She could just be angry that you are not the man she wants. ' She could just be angry that you are not the man she wants' This hs been my thoughts after all these. I think she deserves to be happy. I can not make life miserable for her. she has to come out clean. |
