Sabadon: the thing about this rule is that those guys ll still disobey and nothing ll happen. Laws re mostly flaunted and nothing happens. The law exists and work but most Nigerians are rather too impatient to follow it through, that's the advantage most of these law enforcement guys use to exploit people because they know you can't follow the law through. |

Can you tell what you see around APC? APC is growing stronger by the day except you want to keep deceiving yourself and was the only opposition when they came out against GEJ and PDP with 12 govs....but look at your rudderless ADC basking in the euphoria of enlisting expired politicians who only want their hands in the cookie jar with no clear agenda on how to do better than tinubu is doing.....they just want to be in govt only for themselves. |

Ofunaofu: You speak like hardship is always self-inflicted, like people simply choose suffering the way elites choose designer fabrics. If your idea of wisdom is telling people to smile through policy-induced pain, you’re not preaching resilience, you’re endorsing injustice.
You say “seek help,” but when the system keeps failing the majority, who do they seek it from? The same leaders who promised relief but delivered record inflation?
Listen, poverty isn’t always a mindset; sometimes it’s the direct result of leadership choices, corruption, and elite indifference dressed up as tough love.
If people are angry, it’s not unbridled self-righteous hate as you described it, it’s righteous frustration. Leadership should ease suffering, not philosophize it away. You call it self-pity; I call it awareness. Maybe when you stop mistaking privilege for moral superiority, you’ll see the difference too. Did the socio economic lacuna we have found ourselves start today,do hunger and suffering start under tinubu or the systematic decay of this country......this man has only spent 2 years and he has taking decisions and set out policies that would give the economy a lift by jettisoning some wrong things we have been used to doing in the past.....fuel and Forex subsidy in this case..... everyone who should be in the know within those spaces-oil and gas and the financial sectors have all acknowledged the ingenuity and long overdue reforms Nigeria needs to change it's socioeconomic trajectory but here you are still wishing things were as they were and we should keep living on the precipice and down the abyss of economic turmoil......no one has said it would be easy but here you are expecting milk and honey despite the challenges as expected.....that to me is illogical at best and you are just an irrational ideologue who just hates your president..... |

Ofunaofu: The classic defense of a typical tribál and ethnîc bîgót póvérty-stricken Agbadóos
'If you’re suffering, it’s because you’re not wise or rich enough.' That’s not logic it’s elitist nonsense. No one voted for reforms that made food a luxury. If this is the ‘uhuru’ your wisdom predicted, your bar for progress is ‘suffer, adapt, and say thank you.’ We’re not fools for expecting leadership to ease burdens not multiply them If your burden is multiplying,it's no one's fault you chose your life choices.....seek help rather than you feeling your self with unbridled self righteous hate.....if gold was raining the streets of Nigeria, those who would be poor would be poor....if the entire land was desert and filled with thorns, those who would be rich would be rich.....if you refuse to see the positives,it's no one's fault.....u can continue to revel in your arduous self pity.....your choice not mine. |

This isn't about who comes next; it's about the undeniable wreckage this administration has caused. Nigerians are hungry, angry, and tired not because of Atiku, Obi, or El-Rufai, but because of Tinubu’s disastrous, calamitous policies mascurading as economic reforms Only illogical people would have expected things to be uhuru after Tinubu's reforms.....wise people already knew and had already brazed up, millionaires are being made in this country daily and life is going on as normal...... illogical people,I am only stopping short of calling such people fools. |

He has started appointing northerners to positions. All of a sudden we are no longer hearing Ogunleye, Olaniyi, when appointments are announced.
Now, he’s going for a Middle Belt Christian as APC chairman.
Don’t be surprised if Tinubu shows up at your door tomorrow to deliver KFC chicken 😏.

The north can take the backstabbing of a northern brother by another northern brother very seriously. Even the Kano votes kwankwaso plans of bringing to BAT's table are not 100% guaranteed except Ganduje falls in line. If you think Kwankwaso can deliver north west to BAT, then you're one of those giving him more political credit than he deserves. Between RMK and ganduje alone in Kano, that's over a million votes and they have both declared for asiwaju add wamako and the APC govt in Sokoto, bagudu, aliero and Idris in kebbi..... don't even mention Katsina and jigawa......zamfara also, APC is very strong there.....tinubu is very much at home and comfortable in the NW |

lexy2014: who created the suffering that you say the governors should ameliorate?
this investment in "cheap quality education and health care so people wont have to go spend huge amounts in private institutions thereby freeing up disposable income for many families" not the same thing as paying subsidy?
what is the wisdom in "removing" fuel subsidy cos you say it is not sustainable (even though it kept prices down) only to share money for governors to provide the same susbsidies? Must you subsidise petrol....we have turned the corner already and subsidy on that commodity is gone.....there are different forms of subsidy which federal govt is still paying eg electricity tariffs, agric inputs, hiv drugs, cancer and kidney treatment etc,if you say these aren't enough then it's up to you.....basic and secondary education and health care are within the concurrent list in our constitution and more funds for state govts can enable them initiate welfarist programs in these sectors within their states.....we don't have to keep spending humongous amounts to subsidise fuel for the rich to the detriment of the poor. |

So how has this got to with yeye Tinubu?
Smelling talk This is what govs can to to ameliorate the suffering of the masses this hard times, invest in cheap quality education and health care so people won't have to go spend huge amounts in private institutions thereby freeing up disposable income for many families....but no they won't,tinubu must come and do everything and those demented obidients don't know any better. |

Tinubu will succumb. He's that desperate. But strategically, is winning Kano with marginal votes worth losing the entire Northeast for? Time shall tell. Kwakwanso doesn't need to go to APC to work with asiwaju.....Kano is big enough for him and ganduje.....RMK will keep his influence in the state and ganduje keeps federal..... |
