So is the price of everything you need and want......tinubu didn't cause inflation as inflation has always been there since you grew a tooth.......tell me the price of anything that has gone down since u were born.....GEJ era experienced inflation compared to OBJ and Buhari also had same compared to his predecessor......the truth is your naira is just finding it's true value and the economy is no longer being doused with pan cake and other cosmetics,you are now seeing the real pic but the truth is things will only get better from here and can't be worse because we now have to work harder and not being as lazy and laid back as we were.

Energy tariff got increased by over 200% after the removal of the subsidy. What kind of subsidy is that one for energy tariff? The prices of pharmaceutical products increase by over 100% after the subsidy removal and you are here claiming that the subsidy removal is used to subsidise healthcare.

Energy tariff goes up by 200% and you must have been deliberately deaf when the energy companies have been screaming to high heavens that the energy services being rendered isn't cost reflective and govt needs to hands off to make the sector more viable......do you know how much your energy bill would have been without govt intervention.

Health care is being subsidised with new initiatives like subsidised kidney and cancer treatment,anti retroviral drugs,govt hospitals are still far less cheaper and more equipped than private ones, speaking from experience

There is a fast regeneration of consumer credit system to help alleviate poverty of the masses education,mortgage,consumer credit etc.....these things are there only if you attempt to avail urself with knowledge and they take time to trickle down its effects on the masses.

OUK & Ben Kalu are both from Bende which is one of the LGs in Abia north, Abia north has 5 LGAs.
Check well, both politicians are the only APC elected representatives from Fed down to state assemblies.

Their strengths WERE only limited to their senatorial zone of Abia North, hence their success last election. Unfortunately for them, the strength is no more, especially with their support for this wicked administration coupled with poor & inefficient representation of their people, but they think that their "power is still as of old".

See, Bende LGA alone is a constituency. If there were more than one LG that constitute Bende constituency, Ben Kalu wouldn't have won considering the evil administration of PMB, because other LGAs would rather support their son.
Being the number 1 citizen in Bende representing them in the lower chamber, he used his incumbency & money to retain his seat. The more reason he flexes his muscles in Bende is cos he feels & know his base starts & ends in Bende, same for OUK whose strength is only restricted to Abia north (but people are wiser now, cos it's not going to be business as usual).
Let them bring the money, we'll help them to squander all & still go with our able Governor, HE, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.

God willing, Ben Kalu & OUK will come back home after 2027 election.

If it's that easy to run for office,why not try it? Why didn't LP candidates win in same bende considering the obi euphoria at the time? He doesn't have many supporters in Abia and majority of Abians see him as a failure, a sellout who has lost political relevance. But the honest fact is, for decades, we have been subsidising power in this country. FOR DECADES. Also, since the late 1970's, governments have been connecting people to the grid, and they don't bother about whether they can pay for power on a monthly basis or not.

Result...a power sector that has been chronically and is still chronically short on cash, and that has not been able to pay for upgrades for centuries.

So, why are tinubu and company scared to rectify that and remove subsides? Because they don't want to be voted out? It is the same nonsense GEJ did when he privatised power, but left subsides and price controls in place....leading to the point where three power discos had to be taken over by banks and one other by the government itself.

At the end , it may be harsh, but it would eventually allow investment needed to get us to at least 34000 mw, which is what we need right now to give everyone on the grid 24 hour a day POWER.

Let's dump this oppressor thing. I am not here to argue or to do propaganda for any entity. If business, including the power business, must flourish here, we got to free it to make enough profits to pay for improvements itself.

And improvements cost money. Because no joker is going to do anything for free.

You are quite correct in Ur posit but political expediency is also the right of any govt.....we all know subsidy removal on electricity is the way to go but it would be disastrous for this govt to attempt that wholistically at this perilous times......you don't pull the plugs on every welfare Ur citizens are enjoying all at once.....get the economy stable anyway you can then we can come to that later.

Every reasonable Nigerian knows this.....the FG is doing fantastically well as far as macro economic stability is concerned but the problem is the rather slow effect on the micro which isn't absolutely the fault of tinubu.....they should ask what the sub nationals are doing,I haven't seen any massive investment by any of them in education, health care or even agric that can improve the economy and have direct bearing on the masses despite the increase in allocations.....but the people will always blame tinubu.

Power subsidy I would say is rather expedient for now so as to mitigate the suffering of the masses,u can't pull the plug on every welfare Ur citizens are getting all at once.....it would be trite to do that on electricity only when the economy substantially improves.
