Nigerians have entitlement mentality? For a government who swore by the constitution to provide the basic amenities in other to complement their own interests? Are you even thinking?

The Nigerian government is suppose to be taken to The Hague for war crimes against humanity for our living conditions!
No govt would go bankrupt in trying to provide amenities for it's people.....pms isn't even one of those basic amenities.

History is replete with many govts that have fallen for trying to provide what it can't afford.venezuela,Greece,Zimbabwe, Mubarak's Egypt,Sri Lanka etc,now tell me if this countries are any better than they were pre crisis.

The govt cannot keep subsidising petrol for you because it causing undue strain on the economy $25 billion monthly is too huge a bill to pay monthly.

Yes but he undeniably amplified the hardship when in a strong position to reduce it. All through planting season, he was busy with politicking and propaganda. Hope he doesnt blame excess rain for poor harvest also. There was excess rain under Buhari and GEJ yet they didnt leave the agric ministry to autopilot ministers.
There was locust attack from wast africa under buhari, most of us didnt know of it because someone did his job. Tinubu only responded to insecurity in Zamfara and Kaduna after planting season elasped. I wonder what the game plan is.
If tinubu were to continue on the trajectory GEJ and Buhari were going Nigeria by now would have ran aground.

What was oil production during Buhari and what is it now?

How much was being expended on fuel subsidy then and now?

How much was being expended defending the USD then and now?

This challenges you are facing now are things we should have done since obj and by now we would have overcome and things would have been better but we kept postponing doomsday and the govt didn't have the political will to make the hard decisions to the detriment of us all.

Mbah wouldn't want to get in the firing line because his interest is already well protected and also pdp's influence has been greatly diminished in the SE.

There's no ethnicity up there, it's all about interest.
Don't mind those political neophytes!! Igbo governor in PDP should not join the southwest and makinde in playing the spoiler

This people do not care about us. The only way APC CAn remain in power in 2027 is if PDP fails organize themselves in unison and continue to play into the hands of their enemies in the west and wike who doesn't want the party to survive. Responsible PDP and labour party should form a merger to unseat this calamitous regime of the APC led by the yorubas because they have failed Nigerians
The entire south is with damagum except maybe delta and Edo for obvious reasons, delta because of okowa/atiku,Edo because obaseki is not in wike's good books.......Enugu wouldn't want to bother about damagum because he needs Abuja to protect him against obi and LP,akwa ibom is with whoever akpabio supports and bayelsa wouldn't want to get involved with what is happening in rivers as rivers and bayelsa are like Siamese twins politically.

The major anti damagum propagators are the expired PDP members and those eyeing 2027 Like Bala Mohammed, tambuwal and co.....they don't really have the govs behind them

And has any of those who helped him come out and accused him of betraying them.....intact it was amaechi who betrayed Wike same for abe, What he has going for him is that he is an ever dependable ally.....this isn't about hate but about common sense, fubara is the traitor pure and simple,if he knew he wasn't going to keep to the terns agreed with Wike, why accept his offer......I can bet you wouldn't tolerate a quarter of what fubara is doing to wike if you had the chance.

He just deployed a scorched earth battle strategy that will place his back to the wall very soon.? His worst years are playing out before his very own eyes! It is most dishonourable and foolish to accept office on a platform provided by a political structure and thereafter turn around to refuse to maintain the platform. It is similar to a carpenter who climbs the roof of a building and destroys the ladder which he used to ascend the roof. He will come crashing down. The personal hatred folks have for Wike won’t save Fubara. Only God can!
What calamity has he brought more than yourself trying to create false narratives about what's happening in the country and not wanting to accept that it's no longer business as usual and we have to collectively get the economy out of the woods .

Wetin concern Atiku with what is happening in Rivers State

Why do you lots continue to support evil?

Let me ask you, will Wike himself tolerate this nonsense he is meting out at Fubara if he were still governor of Rivers State today?

Will Wike accept a situation whereby, as governor, he will not be the PDP leader in his state?
The scenarios are different.....Wike had been a king maker since amaechi's time,he stood against amaechi when he refused supporting GEJ......he single handedly fought for amaechi's ticket and drove out omehia and alsi brought him back after he ran to Ghana.

He felt hard done by when amaechi was having funny ideas about trying to stop Wike from achieving his own dream of becoming gov.

Wike his a very loyal ally,he stood vehemently behind GEJ against all odds that's why mama peace still respects him so much,he is also doing same with tinubu and that's why the president also respects him a lot......nobody has ever come out to accuse wike of betrayal.

Especially tinubu

Also tinubu isn't making our economy productive. That's why he is a bad leader
How do you get an economy productive if not by removing the barriers that has been holding it down.

Fuel subsidy and defending the naira to has been a major drain in the economy and the govt is trying to correct this and it's already yielding some results though infinitestimal.

The naira has found it's real value where it is at against the dollar because govt have refused spending our scarce resources defending the naira to the benefit of the rich who would buy and import everything and anything.....the main reason your naira is doing poorly is the unbridled demand for dollars.

Fuel subsidy is been removed and the govt not wanting to use scarce resources providing cheap petrol that benefits the rich more,u now buy what you use and use efficiently,no more wastage.

The fact is, most states are not earning enough IGR.

If states really wanted to earn IGR, they would tax more people in their states...however that would lead to riots and protests. Meanwhile, oil revenues are falling, and the oil price is not where we want it to be, and FG revenues are shit.

So, at the end, governors take more loans.

That is how it has been....because your average governor like the presidency is scared to go the tax route.

FG return subsidy, else this country will tumble on you and everyone. The Naira is being bashed up and down by this single decision, there is no purchasing power of the Naira, since demand is low. PMS is the engine room of the economy, Tinubu cover your face in shame and introduce subsidy else everything will crumble!

If I was buying 10 liters of PMS before, I will buy 3-4 liters now. Meaning less money to go round. This is the reason the economic metrics are all going down/red! Useless old fools in sensitive positions!
Not true ....Nigerians are stoic agitators with wanton entitlement mentality.

The engine room of the economy is AGO and gas which all industries that are the major drivers of any economy rides on......subsidy has long been removed from these and heavens haven't fallen.
All you need do is adjust yourself with modern work techniques that doesn't require you having to head out of your environ everyday....many organisations now adopt work from home schedules that has been proven not to affect productivity in anyway.

Shared transportation is being adopted by many which has lead to less environmental pollution, less stress on transport infrastructure and more efficient use of energy.......i drive my car less as there is less need to move around and I can leave without noisy generators as there is renewable energy alternatives.

How can a state like ekiti be generating more IGR than almost all the northern states who gets far more from faac......also a state like abia which is a vastly commercial city earning less igr than ekiti or osun......indices such as this are some of the underlying factors the Nigerian economy is stuttering and poverty in prevalence.......some states are highly unproductive and poorly managed.
