Na 20k be upkeep? For this economy?? 1k can't get you a decent meal as of today. Imagine the student does nothing else with that money, it still will not be close to "upkeeping" them for a month.

1 meal a day for 20 days na him you dey call upkeep? How much is Thiefnubuu's feeding budget again?? I no blame you, na that yankee wey you dey I blame.
Keep crying!! I doubt you ever went to school cos everyone knows how much a single penny can do in a student's life.....youth corp allawee that was mere pittance and even state bursaries that was so meagre was a big deal and some life saver for students who got them.

The doubting Thomas kids rushed to apply for the loan after they saw many people uploading proof of the loan disbursed to them and the upkeep.

Like some people advised, FG should have a separate portal where we can identify students that got this loans with their details.

It could also be a good data point for their parent because some children will collect school fees from home and still take a loan. The main objective of this intervention is to relief the parent, so FG must do this so parents can know too.
For me this fund should be privatised and full control detached from govt.....it's a novel idea that will easily be bastardised with politics.....wait till those abokis get there hands on this.

Our president is not just incompetent. He's irresponsible.

Like a father that cannot take care of his children. His children cannot feed and he doesn't care.

Osinbajo is responsible. He cannot sit idle and watch citizens die of hunger if he is the president.
Obi too would not allow this happen.

Our president lacks empathy, but sadly some people mistake lack of empathy for boldness and the will to take hard decisions that will benefit us later.

What if after all these suffering, his policy doesn't yield any meaningful development? So he just used 200 million people's destiny in experimenting useless policies that eventually failed.

There's no justification for any government decision that causes the death of suffering of it's citizens. Citizens well-being should always be the topmost priority of any government.
You people never get tired of being painted for loosing the last election.....since when was it tinubu's job to put food on every families table.....how many families did obi feed when he was gov or atiku when he was VP?

All these vile hate won't get you anywhere as your pedestrian assertions are too lame for any logical mind.

Tinubu and his people engineered a protest against him and now they are saying we should not protest for the hardship. It's tribalism
Keep going round in circles and expect different results....then when it's others turn, the other tribes too will gather against him....an eye for an eye will make the world blind......hunger knows no tribe or religion, all the politicians from all the different tribes eat on the same table and laugh at you for fighting yourselves over tribalism.

I am not the one bringing that. I am merely telling you how they were against him Because of tribalism
You using the tribalism statement to explain what happened in 2012 is the same reason tinubu's people would want to protect him also .... instead of everyone rallying together to demand for accountability and good governance.....what happened to GEJ was purely politics and he lost out because he wasn't too adept in the game.

I am not in support of that. I am pointing out that haters who are angry a man from Bayelsa is the president all cried when he did what they wanted to do. only to enter power later and do it. Jonathan was weak and bad because he did not remove the subsidy. these are people who cried when he removed the subsidy and made him backtrack on his actions.

Today, what is happening? everything is worse.
You are still bringing ethnicity into a problem that affects everyone whether in bayelsa or in Lagos....GEJ has long moved on and you need to do same.subsidy removal is the best option, now we are beginning to look inwards into seeing how we can refine our own crude which will be better for our economy on the long run but we were enjoying cheap fuel for too long we lost our senses.....GEJ wasn't bold enough, you need to appreciate this once for at least being bold...... everyone knows subsidy removal won't be easy on the people.

What are your governors doing, how much are they investing in agriculture and economic empowerment of the people.....we really aren't focusing on the really important issues..... there is no food in the land that is the primary problem but no,they are busy chasing shadows.

I already showed you he removed the subsidy but your guys including tinubu organized a protest. i already show you he removed fuel subsidy and then put it back when the nation protested.

ask yourself when no protest when tinubu removes it? Tribalism right?
If you supported GEJ for removing it,them why do you have a problem with tinubu for doing same......intact you are supposed to be happy GEJ has been vindicated.....subsidy removal no matter who did it will have same effect on the economy.

Smh. Absolute bunkum! Awon olodo 'experts'.

Watch how other olodos reading this junk report will not bother to find out that the 'expers' are mediocre. This news media and whoever unleashed this kind of mediocrity on the reading public should be reported to the professional body for appropriate sanctioning. This is completely objectionable and upsetting!

It is unapologetically mediocre that a supposed newspaper like dailypost report is quoting our oil production at 1.2m bpd and repeating such an obsolete information to mislead and prove that the 'expert' is a quack for not knowing that Nigeria is currently producing over 1.6m bpd! Experts indeed!

Awon olodo upon 100 gbogbo. This is why those in government never take them serious, they know that those criticizing them are ignorant and lazy. At the current rate of over 1.6m bpd, NNPCL supplying 450,000 for the whole year is small and no big deal. The koko is in helping these local refineries get the crude in naira instead of struggling for forex upandan.

Nigeria can conveniently deliver that 450,000 barrels in a year to help the local refineries get a headstart.

It is only those who are ignorant about the topic and too lazy to engage intelligently who are uncouth and destructive to our collective creative minds but we must resist them and their toxic unpatriotic destructive upbringing and actions.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
It's daily sir not annually.....our consumption far outweighs 450k per annum

I was laughing at the clowns who are suffering from memory loss when they were hailing Tinubu.

Nigeria has sold its crude oil in advance. So where would NNPC get the one they will sell to Dangote?

This is public knowledge. Dangote imported crude oil from other countries because NNPC has sold our crude oil in advance to pay for loans.
There is a 450k barrels meant for local consumption that has been allocated....that is what's been taken out for refining and been brought back as pms....only pms, nobody is telling us where all the other derivatives goes.....what govt is saying is basically,no need to take out the allocated volume for local consumption, just sell in naira to dangote and leave the rest but the NNPCL goons don't want that because that's the end to the heist they have been committing
