Kobojunkie:You can decide to pitch your tent wherever you like but you just illuminated my initial point that tinubu was the best of the 3 when you compare his legacies with that of Obi not to even mention atiku....they were both governors for 8 years and we know which ones legacy still exists and even 3 govs I believe are far more informed and better placed to lay facts bare after him still alludes to that fact. On the national scale I believe it's a different kettle of fish and his performance has been quite discouraging but I did would like to cut him some slack as he has made some policies that looks good going forward..... heaping the entire gamut of our woes on tinubu to me is grossly a misrepresentation of facts and totally unfair. |
Blazetrailer:Your knowledge of economics is at best pedestrian from your warped assertions.....so you mean to say the govt should have kept subsidising the dollar with loans..... devaluation isn't a totally bad thing and the JPY had been devalued longer than I can remember and the economy is still doing well....it only makes export more attractive than imports which is a plus for any economy.....and for the last time, provide us with facts of subsidy being paid and stop yapping bollocks. |
Brendaniel:I was in Onitsha in 2010 for 3 months when obi was governor.....I stayed on awada road obosi and our office was 10 otigba str Onitsha GRA.....our project was Onitsha main market and it was a pilot project for paying fiber cables within the market and having a telecommunication network for the market with security surveillance with CCTV cameras......Onitsha was the most unsecured city I had ever been.....by 8 pm the entire streets were deserted and residents feared to throng outside past 9pm at the latest,Onitsha was dirty and there was hooliganism on another level that I never saw before in Lagos..... looking across the Niger at night, asaba was like America compared to Onitsha....the streets were well lit all the way from okpanam upto the bridge head while Onitsha was peach dark. Anambra vigilante service were in existence then and we're feared for their extra judicial measures....Onitsha was a big mess and is still is....obi was the governor at the time!! Obi had the opportunity to transform Onitsha to a modern mega city or at least lay the foundation for it but he failed even at getting the right successor he was abysmal at that too. |
Blazetrailer:The previous govts only averted Doomsday.....they basically just papered over the cracks and now it's gotten worse.....every informed and intelligent person knows the fate we are in at the moment was inevitable it was only a matter of time. If you decide to leave in a fairy tale that all had ever been well with Nigeria.....I don't know how more retard one could be. |
Kobojunkie:So you have better information than the same fashola you just referred to as one of the best give Lagos had? Even fashola would laugh at your illogical inference. |
Streetdoctor:Only people averse to facts and reason think that way....every right thinking person knows there is a gradual reform going on,though slow but it will definitely turn around. |
Kobojunkie:Even fashola you mentioned will laugh at your misinformed innuendos |
Brendaniel:I bet you don't even have a 4 by 4 corner store you run and you come on here yapping about governing a state......if you have facts bring them up and stop making ill informed innuendoes. |
CaptainGo:When was the budget approved and passed or you want the govt to go into extra budgetary spending then you start screaming that he has committed an impeachable offence.....they should wait for the supplementary budget coming up in some weeks I believe, they would be taken care of. |
Kobojunkie:Marwa did his beat I agree but Lagos needed a visionary leader who could harness the potential of the state for even more development......you can hate him all you want....tinubu has his imprint on all the major developments in the modern Lagos.....even having good successors who share and keep to your ideology is no easy fit and he has been able to achieve these. |
Kobojunkie:I was only inferring that tinubu was very influential in the upward trajectory Lagos as been on since he was in office.....in the 90s Lagos had taken a downward trend before he came in.....refuse, security, bad roads, poor traffic management, inefficient civil service, decrepit schools, parlous health care system very degenerate and the most chaotic transport system to mention a few.....I don't know how long you have been gone for but it started taking a turn around in 99 when tinubu came on board. |
canalily:I think inter tribal marriages are the most enduring.....there are so many examples we can point to |
bro4u:You want UGM to come kidnap all of them.....even flavour run go Enugu go bury him papa |
dauntless15:My question is why is it happening in the grooms house, you marry from the brides house....that's the proper thing.....anyway,I think they done their engagement already |
Streetdoctor:If obi is who the Igbos think is their Messiah ...I don't know what to say. |
Kobojunkie:Take Buhari to the America and make him potus and let's see what would happen to that country.....there is a reason organisations seek to hire the best brains around to get their job done and not dim wits.....you either make something better or worse,it's only dependent on who's in charge |
christejames:Go and find out the agencies delisted from approved MDA's then you will understand why they weren't paid.....find facts before you disgrace yourself. |
ciggy000:Don't mind all the comments before you,it's either they are ill informed or jus plain dumb reactionaries. |
JAWBONE:There is a reason for this, some agencies and associations were delisted from the list of approved MDA's...... govt ceased making budget allocations to them in that they should be self financing. |
Tochi3:Every sensible person knows the reason why these people haven't been paid.....go and find out the agencies and associations that the govt removed from approved MDA's and stop looking uninformed |
Kobojunkie:You can be blind to progress, that's not my business,Lagos is still the most viable state in the federation as we speak, even ahead of Abuja.....that didn't just happen by chance, someone had to get the job done and we all know who has been getting the accolades. |
Riskymarvelous:I try to be in support of anyone leading the country.....I am only being objective in the way I see the problems of this country. The way this country is structured,it's very difficult to get it to work properly no matter who is president.....what are your govs and LGA chairmen doing absolutely nothing despite the huge allocations they get monthly, they only keep pointing to Abuja. |
Blazetrailer:I never pushed any blame on anyone and only used that as an analogy that inflation has been on the increase year on year without the govt doing anything about it at the time and has now snowballed into the lacuna we have right now.....if you have a comprehension problem, hows that my business.....now who is the slowpoke |
Blazetrailer:Subsidy is being paid with which money.....do you know how much it would be costing this govt to maintain subsidy of that magnitude considering current high cost of Forex,NNPCL has repeatedly come out to say they are no longer doing under recovery as it was pre tinubu, you are here telling us what you don't have any idea of..... Nigeria for your information has an allocation for crude for local consumption which is only being refined outside and brought back which had been in existence even before subsidy was removed....go and learn more about the petroleum industry and understand how it works then you will know we should have no business paying subsidy in the first place. No currency in the world is fully floated not even the dollar, the govt has to keep a keen high on its currency and make sure it remains as stable as possible, what happened before tinubu was that we were getting an artificial value for the naira and not the real value, what you have now is seemingly what a buyer is willing to buy and a seller willing to sell.....talking about subsidy,it was the dollar that was also being subsidised heavily to keep it at that rate it was before tinubu and he has also come out to say no more subsidy in that space that's why you have the xponential increase in rates.....the question is what are your state govs doing? Check every sector across all the states and show me any governor doing anything meaningful be it agric, education, health or social welfare, absolutely non except maybe Lagos.....they all still depend on faac and seat their lazy arses down doing nothing. |
Treadway:If you do not know from the early 2000s, there was a Lagos master plan drafted by these guys which is still being operated by successive governor's after him......Lagos GDP under tinubu grew exponentially compared to what it used to be,you would agree with me that if you do not get a good manager to manage an already successful company,it will be ran aground....Lagos was working like an elephant but eating like an ant until he came, the potential of the state grew massively under him.....let's give honour to whom it's due. On Nigeria sir,I put it to you that the way Nigeria is structured is the bane of our development, nothing meaningful can come out of this no matter who is president....what are your governors doing,we heard how much they got fro palliatives and how much they take home every month as faac.....what are they doing, the FG is trying to manage the macro economy of the country to stop it from tilting over but the constituent states are doing nothing to develop their states and LGAs....we need to breakdown the country through proper restructuring which the process has started, governance needs to move closer to the people..... everyone is pointing at Abuja instead of pointing at their govs or LGA chairmen.....show me one state that is doing any major meaningful project that can develop their area, non except Lagos....even Ogun state that should be benefitting immensely and following the footsteps of Lagos is as lame as a duck . |
Mariangeles:I tell you that most of all these people slaving away riding okada, selling spare parts, doing hairdressing etc in the cities all come from somewhere.and everyone has access to land in their communities......if govt gaurantees providing inputs for say cassava or maize or yam and improve welfare in the rural communities like health insurance, free education, house hold loans and even mortgages to make farming life easy....I tell you even bankers would leave the bank and go into farming. |
Riskymarvelous:I now know that u are not to knowledgeable about how the economy has been on a decline since 2007......how much was rice during obj compared to the price during GEJ same for cement, fuel etc |
Streetdoctor:He was the best of the 3 candidates, take that to the bank.....when he was in Lagos,he didn't do much but he laid the foundation for the upward trajectory Lagos still has today. |
Mariangeles:You see all the people shouting hunger, dollar is to high, petrol is too cost!! They are supposed to encourage these people running this cottage industry... Govt should get access to finance and create a cluster in that area where more people can come in and produce.....by now more people need to be going into agric and agric processing, our number one problem is we are not producing enough food in this country. Massive investment like roads ,electricity, schools and Medicare also agricultural equipments should be provided on a massive level directed to the rural areas to encourage people to come get involved in agriculture.....there are so many people wasting away in the cities. |
God1000:It's not the woman's fault,it's the police you should blame, who don't carry out proper investigation before charging people to court.....stealing is a bailable offence and all her people needs to do is arrange for her bail. |
10mobile:You people should stop spewing thrash.....if Wike truly owns that consignment,it will clear at the port without any hindrance.....who owns the port, who owns the customs....noh be FG? |
Riskymarvelous:What did PDP offer for 16 years,I am waiting for you to tell me what anyone else has to offer......I dey wait |
