I appreciate the fact you know all politicians are same and would readily buy votes if given the chance.......that's why sensible people find it funny when funny people point fingers at a particular candidate as the biggest loser in this currency change debacle.......those who don't want the old denominations to be stopped are still having their way based on this latest Buhari statement....... nothing is going to change and the biggest spender will win,that's the sad reality

Are you not aware that it's only done in designated CBN touch points? And the process could take up to 14 days....You want to go through all these for a meagre 5k??

Go read the circular on currency swap after deadline date.

It's obvious who isn't thinking..... someone who sells his vote for just 5k won't have a problem spending the old denominations when given as we speak I still spent the old 1k this morning here in Lagos and many people doing same.

As long as transporters and market people accept them, spending small amounts won't be a problem and trust me state governments know what to do to make people fall in line.

Buhari should ignore the supreme court and its corrupt decision. For years there was scarcity and many of these governors who are now suing the federal government didn't care about the masses , but since they know this decision runs contrary to their political advantages they are willing to run their own parallel rule of law irrespective of what the FG say

Law is based on technicalities and merit of the case.....law isn't based on sentimentalism or personal opinion.....you can have a good case and still loose of you don't fit you is and cross your ts properly

That's why I laugh at this obidients.......Buhari just gave a freekick to the politians to play their game and for CBN to defend there goal.....all the denominations will still very much be in circulation on election day

That 22 billion Tinubu money Which are in 1000 naira and 500 Naira denomination and stored in Kano state government facility meant for vote buying in the North West has become waste , useless and and now tissue papers, it will be hard converting them into 200 Naira notes with less than 9 day to election and CBN will not circulate up to 1 billion naira worth of 200 Naira notes back to the economy before election.

If your assertion were to be true by any iota of possibility......those higher denominations you claim are now extinct will still be very much in circulation during the election.

That inevitably negates the very purpose this policy intends which is vote buying......what I am saying is if anyone has that humongous amount of cash as you claim,that person will still be able to use that cash on election Day to devastating effect......tinubu and APC must be smiling now
