Zonefree:Keep deluding your self, Peter Obi cannot win this election, yes I agree he is making a statement with his intentions but I won't revel in delusion and expecting the impossible to happen.......I am waiting for you to call me a hater or your insults as usual. |
Naira20:What I see in that man up there is confidence and not arrogance.....many people especially Africans often mistake confidence for arrogance......I groom my kids to be confident anywhere they go but to many onlookers they call them arrogant, but I know they are not. |
Jashub:Tinubu isn't Buhari, they are 2 different people with different ways of doing things. Obi and atiku were also part of the party that brought us 16 calamitous years. |
treesun:Boris Johnson goofed and Liz truss was even more calamitous but rishi sunak holds the fort now for Johnson to return.....they are all from same conservative party. Buhari and tinubu are not the same person. |
Hop4ade5:I beg to differ with all due respect sir!! |
a4cube:I don't dwell on fallacies" punish tinubu" I laugh in Efik.....ogbanaya onu that could not win even his ward for Anpp at the time is the one you are saying wields influence.......you can hate tinubu all you want but underestimate that guy at your peril, also try and study Nigerian politics so you can have a better understanding of how it's played. |
Hop4ade5:Peter Obi has done a great job so far and he must be commended for expanding and deepening our democracy by adding more color and vibrance......however,he is not the best suited for the job as at now,Nigeria at the moment needs someone with experience and tact that can stabilise this ship of state that is drifting ever off course and about to capsize and not a radical ideologue who would rather seek to upturn and drastically change the course of the country which is far more dangerous. Obi will be needed post 2023 as the arrowhead of the opposition and I know he has gathered enough momentum to keep whoever wins on their toes......by 2027,obi can come sell himself again and I believe by then he would have had a better grasp of Nigeria's peculiar dynamics. |
AlmightyMod:Adamu can't do zilch.....even he himself is under siege as he is surrounded by tinubu's loyalist......if he messes up,he will be disgraced accordingly. A party chairman that lacks charisma and wields no influence, compare to oshiomole during his days......he himself knows the rug he is standing on is being held by tinubu's agents and they can sweep it from under his feet anytime they wish. |
MadeInTokyo:Get your facts right,Adamu is npdp and he is actually going to be begging the govs on Buhari's behalf for them to stop denigrating him......the govs hold the aces, ask obj in 2003 and ask GEJ in 2014. The Anpp and ACN camps are still very much intact as against the CPC that doesn't have same strengths as the other 2 and npdp has been long depleted. |
treesun:Shouldn't you be rather worried they are trying to mend fences in due time......the cognisant unity between the governor's and that of the APC presidential candidate is unprecedented in the history of this 4th republic......and that should be a greater source of worry to tinubu's opponent....... their strength in unity is really intimidating to opponents. |
Urheadmaster:Except for Adeleke, all the others are nobodies as far as SW politics is concerned. Aside from Udom or okowa for obvious reasons, which other governor or senator is campaigning seriously for atiku, even Udom his busy fighting for his own political survival in AKS......in all honesty,I do not see atiku winning this elections, tinubu needs to pay obi back all the monies he spent for this campaign because he is the biggest factor tinubu is winning this election. |
peter0071:To show how irrelevant their presidential candidate is,they don't even have a pic of her ![]() |
booblacain:I don't think you read my post and if you did, perhaps you have difficulties deciphering |
Ilorin is still calm but no one is accepting the old notes as we speak.....it's even worse because most of the transporters and market people are not even accepting transfers ......I am supposed to proceed to Patigi in Kwara north but as it is like this might have to get back to Lagos cos of cash sacrcity so as not to be caught out if station by this looming anarchy. |
DennisEche:This is a battle within the taraba state APC ......those opposed to senator bwacha emergence as APC Huber candidates are the ones leaving........bwacha will single handedly defeat them all. Taraba is also a state APC can loose without it affecting them as long as they get there 25-30%,they are good......obi is there to reduce atiku's numbers anyway........it's ok they can leave |
CyynthiaKiss:If the governors with their state HA can come out publicly and enjoin their people to disregard Buhari and CBN.......Nigeria is still a cash dependent economy and a lot of that money can remain in circulation outside the banks....... The state will need to assure Thier citizens and arrange a currency circulation strategy and carry out mass public enlightenment, this is a political season and govs can get that done easily with very limited effort.......get critical stakeholders like market leaders, transporters and other unions to co operate. |
raylandmark:This is where the governor's need to step in.....they need to make categorical positions where they stand |
Neduzze5:Oga!! That money is still being spent in Lagos as we speak, all the people rejecting are all just still doing initial gra gra,by Monday things will normalise...... Buhari as goofed in this by going against the highest court in the land......if he had the guts why didn't he issue an executive order. I travelled via public transport from Lagos to Ilorin yesterday and I spent the old notes but it is being rejected in Ilorin as at this morning but I am certain things will change latest by Monday from feelers I am getting from here. |

Are you saying PDP has gotten no candidate in akwa ibom.....this will be really burdensome for Udom that he will not be able to commiit fully to atiku ambition. This definitely is enough distraction and akwa ibom is the only state atiku stands a chance in the entire south but with this, that chance is going up in smoke even okowa moving to Abuja has made him list a lot of ground In his state making APC gain huge advantage. This 2 states out of the bag makes an atiku victory difficult if not downright impossible |
. |
tishbite41:Some more governors will follow suit.....once the governor's make contrary statements to the charade Buhari did yesterday,it will automatically nullify Buhari's order. I am really enjoying this and this is a test of true fiscal federalism we have all been clamouring for......it will only lead to a positive outcome and will end up making Nigeria better. |
INTEGRITYA1:At the worst case scenario, atiku wins the North, all tinubu needs is to keep it close with not more than 10% margin he will definitely make up for the difference in the south because obi will cancel out at least 80% of what atiku will get from the south. Tinubu needs a margin of at least 60% in SW and 25-30% in the other southern states......this is with a projection of 45% voter turnout |

Can you show proof of when and where tinubu has been collecting all this and if all this your lies were to be anything close to facts,it's is entitlement because it was backed by law. I put it to you that he isn't collecting these emoluments.....stop peddling falsehood. |
BeauBragnar11:Wailer!! |
Hendrixky: |
Doing the same thing over and expecting different result......I see nothing special coming out of this guy,he is too dim witted to be entrusted with a LG talk less of a state. People will because of hate be digging their own graves......just don't understand why Nigerians are like this......leaving a more seasoned administrator in oyetola for this joker.....Nigerians are a joke,I swear |
BeauBragnar11:Only a hungry man doesn't have time to do what they like to do at anytime they choose......I love having fun and that I am doing right now |
BeauBragnar11:That's even if tinubu or myself is bothered one bit about this confused policy of emefiele.....if you thought those politicians are bothered about spending cash to influence elections then I am sorry you are mundanely too oversimplistic in your reasoning which depicts low IQ......their fear is just that they know tinubu would outspend them. |
BeauBragnar11:Real power brokers need boots on ground to push their agenda......on this policy,Buhari and emefiele doesn't have that.....it's emefiele I pity,Buhari will leave him high and dry and he will be used as the sacrificial Dog by the time people start calling for his head. Remember dasuki, metuh, madueke etal, while GEJ and is wife are moving around freely without any scratch. |
BeauBragnar11:If I don't have any thinking cap,I definitely wouldn't borrow yours......this statement by Buhari has given a leeway for people to continue to circulate the old denominations till April 10th.....filling stations will accept and in turn sell to pos operators who will then redistribute in small amounts to the masses who will willingly accept because they desperately need any form of respite as we speak. Any filing station or market that refuses to collect will be harrased and hounded by the state governments through their agents......and nobody would want their business places to be picketed and attacked by thugs because Buhari or emefiele can't protect everyone. As we speak the market leaders in Lagos are already threatening anyone that refuses to accept the old notes with locking up of their stalls or shops.....go and call Buhari or emefiele to come save you. |
STINEKPROJECTS1:I appreciate the fact you know all politicians are same and would readily buy votes if given the chance.......that's why sensible people find it funny when funny people point fingers at a particular candidate as the biggest loser in this currency change debacle.......those who don't want the old denominations to be stopped are still having their way based on this latest Buhari statement....... nothing is going to change and the biggest spender will win, that's the sad reality |
