Richtaiwo: Even with my modest grasp of the law, I know that intercepting phone calls is a serious offence. Intercepting the NSA’s calls? That’s not just bold, that’s auditioning for a courtroom drama.
When the narrative eventually upgrades to phrases like “terrorism financing” and “sensitive intelligence,” the penny will drop.
Which makes one wonder, how does a former governor and minister miss something this obvious? Was he on drugs? "Show me your friends,I will tell you who you are" his new friends who are known for empty chest beating and vile, infantile rants initiated him, that's all they know, rabble rousers, empty barrels who knows nothing but believe they know it all.......now he has been led to gaol and left alone. |

yinkus6750: Until we drastically minimize demand for forex, that's when we can have a huge decline in exchange rate. Total ban on importation of fuel will really help. Reducing 0.05% on interest rate, leaving it at 26.5% is not encouraging @ all. When other countries are doing single dit, 20% for a start would have been commendable. Our financial management is still very poor. Very low interests rate will flood the economy with too much liquidity without commensurate production capacity to meet such demand there by resorting to importation and then increased dollar demand which will then further depreciate your currency and the excess liquidity leading to inflation which you are fighting so hard to contain. |

The north can never support another southerner against tinubu, they rather wait out his 2nd 4years and get the seat back without stress in 31 than hand the south a potential 12 years.... we keep telling obidients that obi is absolutely not in the equation.....atiku could have a upper hand but majority southerners and northern xtians too won't want another hausa fulani just after 4 years of buhari.......obi should rather be advised to wait it out till 39 byvthen he would have built enough bridges and be in poll position when the seat comes back south......but obidients will never listen, despite their impending political doom. |

kolafolabi: The PDP G5 have successfully dealt a heavy blow to the party. Though it is not yet completely buried, thank God the G5 themselves are no longer on the best of terms. All thanks to the brilliant maneuvering from the President, the political genius at work. But seriously, if I were Waziri, I would consider stepping down for PO, at least for the sake of the new platform, the ADC, and to give the new party a stronger footing. Sometimes personal ambitions must give way to strategic moves for the greater political good. This is exactly the kind of moment where vision matters more than titles. If I were atiku,i would stand down for obi to go disgrace himself since he thinks he is the most popular person after JESUS CHRIST......this will do 2 things,i will let him have the ticket and let him get soundly beaten by jagaban so he can shut his mouth forever and never attempt to talk politics ever again, let his obidients get badly battered so they learn their place when it comes to politics........secondly this will help stabilise the ADC as it will help mitigate internal frictions between the different blocs and keep the party calm till the next round of elctions in 31.....I will then wait till 31 when I can be the sole frontrunner in the ADC. |

Ofunaofu: There is no faction within the ADC.
This latest spin appears to be a deliberate attempt to deflect attention from the assassination attempt on Peter Obi and other ADC leaders in Edo State, and to redirect it by blaming an imaginary internal crisis within the party.
The current APC-led Edo State government had previously warned Obi not to set foot in Edo State. Then yesterday, there was an assassination attempt on him and other ADC leaders.
As the proverb says, “The witch cried last night, and the baby died in the morning.” We do not go to the soothsayer to ask what killed the child.
These developments raise serious concerns about the direction of our democracy and the safety of opposition figures. Say what you know and stop spreading half truths.....everyone knows there is deep factionalisation in ADC Edo odigie oyegun is at loggerheads with another chieftain, sen Roland owie.....the latter wouldn't accept the leadership of the former and what happened yesterday was just a show of force between both camps. It is typical of the ADC,they lied in kebbi,Lagos, ogun and now Edo,same pattern everywhere.....nah so Una wan win elections? |

EponObi: Lmaoooooo... It's expected.
What do you expect when groups of disgruntled fellows band together for one singular purpose - which is winning the ticket at all cost.
I have said many times that you can't compare this ADC coalition with the APC coalition of 2015. In the history of Nigeria, tha APC was the best, most united, and brutal opposition.
Then you have a Tinubu shelving his own ambition to allow a Buhari run first. He didn't even opt for VP; he push his boys forwards instead. That was the epitome of delayed gratification in real time.
Compared to this coalition, you might agree or not but those who are smart can see what's really happening with ADC. You have Atiku who want the ticket and want to use Obi's hype and the obidents number to buff up his own numbers. 6+6 =12.
Obi top wants the ticket but want to ride Atiku's influence in the North to Aso Villa. Obi knows he has no chance in the North. Zero chance. By winning the ticket and having Atiku's support, he's hoping 6+6=12 too.
The truth of the matter is they hate themselves in that ADC and are only united to use each other.
With regards the FCT election, Obi intentionally took the spotlight so that if Dr. Mo won, he would use it as negotiation for the ADC ticket and have his obidents tell the world the ADC is only relevant because of him. During the council campaign, he begged people to "VOTE FOR ADC" because "IT WILL HELP ME" not "IT WILL HELP THE ADC" 😂. He didn't even pretend like they are all united in that party.
Atiku too laid back from the election so Obi will fail. And it worked. Obi and his obidents failed woefully and it has plummeted their clout and popularity in the ADC; giving Atiku more edge to clinch the ticket.
Now, the real matter. If Obi wins the ticket, Atiku and his people will back out, work against him and might even work for Tinubu.
If Atiku wins the ticket, Obi and his Obidents will back out.
Just watch out.
BTW, Obi started the council election on the wrong foot by imposing a wrong and unpopular candidate. Na winger wey sabi play 7 dem pick. 😂. The same mistake he did with LP during the Edo guber election when he ignored regional rotation and imposed an unpopular Olumide Apata.
They never learn.
Obi was set of by his gang of disgruntled and hungry politicians in his party,it was a deliberate plot to demystify him and hollow out his braggadocio of being the most popular candidate.......the chips are already down for him following the last Saturdays decimation and his bargaining power grossly diminished......obi has no bloc votes anywhere and no structure, Saturday made that all the more glaring. |
