@livy2018 be careful with your medicals. There's no hurry about it. No one can predict CIC so you don't know when you'll get ITA. For instance, why was there no draw last week?

As you've been advised, medicals last for exactly one year and your COPR expires when your med expires.

My learned sister, if you have really been following this thread and the posts of the people you mentioned, you shouldn't be asking these basic level questions. They have been answered too many times on this thread to count.

1. No issue. Just indicate your maiden name in the question of Alias or if you've been known by any other name.

2. Depends on what you want and its no issue. Just remember that you have 1 year from the date of the medicals to land (or less depending on validity of your passport). So, depending on when you get your COPR, you may have a very short time before you have to land.

3. Again, no issue. In my case hubby transferred 100% of the POF sef and we attached a declaration of gift (not notarized). If its from his personal account, you can simply add a declaration of gift just to cover all angles.

Thanks. Fund not available NOW but hubby should have it post ITA. Hope the date of the availability of the fund (i.e. post ITA) is not an issue?. Apologies for seeking furthwr clarification om this issue.

Hello house, congrats in advance to newmum0615, I secretly say some words of prayers for you. My legal sis - Ethelia, well done on ur good works on this forum. To my issue, my WES report came in this morning, I evaluated both LLB and LLM and it gave an equivalence of Master's degree, this has increased my score to 451. I was initially using 2 or more certs to simulate my CRS score for both hubby and myself, I am the PA. But a note was made on my WES report, that the name on my account differs from the one on the certs evaluated. i.e. my maiden name and my married name. My profile is in my married name because my Passport is in my married name, same with all other supporting documents I will be getting e.g. reference letter, bank statement etc. Do you think this will be an issue?

Hubby's report is due 21st of this month and we evaluated his LLM alone because of the issue of incomplete transcripts (IJMB result) for his LLB. I have read that we can do our medicals shortly before the draw after we enter the pool to avoid the rush after ITA. Is this advisable?
Lastly, for POF, we intend to use 25% of my pension funds and the rest would be transfer from hubby's acc to my savings account that also doubles as my salary account. The issue now is can hubby transfer the funds to my account post-ITA? and do we need a gift deed since it from an accompanying spouse?

Just attach a copy of your marriage certificate and probably an LOE to explain the name change (this was what I did). When your report is concluded, both your maiden name and new name will be captured on your ECA report.

I am sure of Ikoyi, no booklet, so I don't want to get stucked and the price they are calling, passport has turn to meat in the market that you haggle price, lol.

I dont understand your post, pls. Where both partners have 2 or more certs and there CRS score with 1 partner's IELTS score could get them ITA, will it be necessary for the other partner to still write IELTS? Like will the 2nd partner's IELTS be required post-ita?

Dear House, must a spouse who is not the PA write IELTS even where the PA's score can give them ITA? Do you think it will be ground for refusal of PPR if the VO sees that the 2nd partner did not take the test?

So IELTS result finally out.
LRWS - 8.5,9,7,8.5.

First attempt and I am soo grateful for the tips I got on this forum, now waiting for WES to conclude its report.

If you recall, my experience on test day with MOD at its Lagos mainland centre was terrible but it ended in praise.

Mine was responded to by email, no courier and that should suffice because WES has sent me an email that they have gotten all they need and finalising my report.

WES has sent details of my results for verification.My contact person has also confirmed receipt of my documents from WES,However he is insisting that i pay for another courier service to WES.

I know a lady with the courier office, she did mine and hubby successfully to WES.

Pls, if you have gone through this lane or know anyone who has done soo successfully, kindly direct me to them. I am in a fix here and the only option that seem available is to insist on WES not to evaluate the degree and only focus on the masters cert.

My advice to you is that you should endeavor to send the IJMB transcript/result. I know it may be frustrating and time consuming but evaluating both degrees now may benefit you guys in future. When you finally get the PR Visa you may need an ECA for Job hunting or schooling by then you wouldn't go through this stress again. Just my two cents sha the decision is ultimately yours.

If I were you, I'd insist that WES take it out. Is it by force? Is it not your money? Contact them through all possible channels instructing that they drop evaluation of your bsc.
