You conveniently forgot or pretend not to know that PDP zoned speaker to the south west in 2011, GEJ and his wife fought tooth and nail to ensure the woman from Oyo state was elected, but Tinubu and his clique resisted it, thus paving way for the emergence of Tambuwal. Tinubu was scared that a speaker from the south west would gradually reduce his dominance in south west politics.

How will this country move forward with this hate? The south west can happily have vice president and speaker today, but there is a tomorrow. I'm Urhobo for your notice before you call me IPOB.

Omo Agege seem to be the preffer candidate, and am seen him winning the ticket of APC for contesting delta state governoship.
His a strong politician that doesn't need any God father before he can achieve his aim, he won his current ticket through Labor party before he decamp to APC and he won his re election now despite the state his been run by PDP, it show how love n strong he his, in his state.
Watch it out for him come 2023

If u are familiar with delta politics u would know Agege won in 2015 on Labour Party platform because he rode on the back of Ogboru who is a household name in Delta Central and generally liked by the Urhobos. If Agege had contested in 2015 in a platform different from Ogboru's, he would have not become senator. He contested in 2011 under ACN to be governor he was mercillesly defeated coming a distant third. Agege can easily pick APC ticket in 2023 being a senator, but he would not win.

During the Primary in 2015, David Ededivebe was supported by UPU and other stakeholders, just that Okowa was too smart and enlighten when it comes to politics.

That UPU supported Olorogun Edevwie in the 2015 PDP governorship primaries is no guarantee that they would still support him in 2023. Politics is dynamic. UPU as at today has no influence to determine who governs Delta State, it has lost her vibes as it was during the era of Late Benjamin Okumagba, it is now factionalized.
Aguoye is also Urhobo from Okpe local government. The arguement is that Ughelli federal constituency has produced a governor in the person of Late Felix Ibru and a deputy governor in the person of Amos Utuama. Ethiope federal constituency has produced a governor in the person of James Ibori and that it may now be the turn of Okpe/Uvwie federal constituency to produce a governor since delta central is made up of those three divisions.
As I said earlier it is still very early to know for now. Let's see how Okowa constitute his new cabinet. Who would be his chief of staff? Who would he appoint as SSG? Who would be finance, justice, works commissioner? This would give us a clue.
