Hi Franky, to be honest Nobody is supposed to tell you how much money to start a business with. Some people started with millions of naira, while some people started with few hundred thousands, it depends on your own financial circumstances.

But if you MUST travel to Asia or even Dubai to import clothing's or shoes you must have at least 1 Million Naira minimum FOR SHOPPING ALONE. If you don't have up to that amount you better buy directly from importers in Lagos or Onitsha. You should think of traveling to Asia to import goods when you are buying things in large quantity to justify the amount of money you are going to spend for visa, air ticket, hotel accommodation etc.

As at today it costs nearly 300,000 naira to fly to any South East Asian country, no thanks to the falling Naira.

Someone phoned me few weeks ago and said he has 700,000 naira can he start, my answer was no. Because flight was about 285,000 Naira on the day i got that call. When you remove 285k from 700k what do you have? Mind you, you are staying in hotel for days or weeks, you will eat, pay taxi fares to warehouses, pay visa fee etc. So am sure from the above explanation you have an idea.

There are many importers in Onitsha you could buy from, they give great discounts. But I am not going to release any of their contacts, if you want to buy from importers go to Onisha main market or Lagos and ask. Why i have refused to share such contacts is this. It is not good to give out other peoples contacts to third parties. And besides when the business and contact is rosy you wont even remember to say thank you. But if something goes wrong tomorrow i might be labelled as an accomplice. So I don't want anything that will stain my name.

Don’t forget there’s a monthly fee for the meter whether you have electricity or not. If for instance your monthly fee is N500 and your meter runs out 4 months later depending on how you use or how often you get the electricity, when you go to recharge your meter, N2,000 will be deducted automatically from your payment. I have being using pre paid metre since 2012, it is the best. No useless bills from BEDC at the end of the month, I recharge 5000 naira every month and it serves my compound very well. I recall with pain how I usually pay between 11k to 15k every month when I was using the analog metre. BEDC won't read the metre and they would bring cut throat bill every month when there is hardly light. Pre paid metre is the best.

Election petition now has timeline, there is a constitutional amendment to this effect. If Oyetola goes to the Appeal court, latest May, judgement would be given. If any party further appeal to the supreme court, latest July, judgement would be given.

Point of correction please, Olanipekun headed the Yar'Adua team in the 2007 presidential election petition. Buhari team was led by Mike Ahamba SAN from Imo State, a close ally and personal lawyer to Buhari for many years. One would have expected Mike Ahamba to be the present Attorney General and Minister of Justice haven being Buhari's personal lawyer for decades but seems they parted ways when Ahamba couldnt get the CPC governorship ticket in Imo state in 2011. Olanepekun has never handled any case for Buhari not until 2015 because of Tinubu's influence.

Okowa would defeat Ogboru. Ogboru would struggle to win in Delta Central but that would not take him far. Make no mistake, the likes of Victor Ochei, Cairo Ojuogboh, I be Kachikwu would support Okowa behind doors, it is believed that Delta North must have their eight years.

Before 2023, when it is the turn of Delta Central to produce the next governor, Agege and Ogboru would part ways as Agege would come for him fiercely to pick the governorship ticket of APC and that would be the end of Ogboru, the man is broke,

David (not Francis) Edevbie. He is the current finance commissioner in Delta State. He was also commissioner during Ibori's time. I still believes he may take over from Okowa in 2023.

I keep telling people that the so called love between Agege and Ogboru would come to an end soonest. Agege in his deepest mind want delta north to have their eight years, he wants Ogboru to fool himself once more. The guy is preparing for 2023 governorship race and Ogboru cannot stand his might by then. A two time senator is no mean feat and he would use all at his disposal to finally retire Ogboru, though he would still not become governor.

And North East and North Central would vote for this? May be they are meant to perpetually serve the North West.

I was a PO in Egbeda local govt area of Oyo State during the 2011 presidential election. During counting of result, Buhari's party CPC scored zero vote in my unit, Jonathan won massively and few votes to Nuhu Ribadu of ACN. I quietly asked the CPC agent how come Buhari scored zero and he voted. He laughed and told me God forbid that he should vote Buhari. He said he was in CPC for Adebayo Shittu who was the governorship candidate in Oyo State in that election and not for useless Buhari according to him. I was shocked.
