Politics › An Eye Witness Account In Port Harcourt By Election by Lloydfather(op): 9:27am On Aug 19, 2018 |
I went to port harcourt yesterday without knowing there was election going on around emenike and that happened to be my destination. The cab guy that took me from the air port after talking with the person I can to visit brought me to Okija street after much try to dodge all the road block mount by the Nigeria military men. On getting to the Okija street I call my customer, he told me to come down from the cab because there was also road block there and walk down to the round about and call him. As I reached the round about were I noticed was the collation office for the election, I saw so many military men with their truck, I also saw alot of mobile police men. And some musclar security guy that look like sars (many of them). there were some other guys that looks like cult guys very freighted ones walking in group by groups and were also sipping dry gins. I was afread that I can't go more further. I decided to sit around were the Hausa people were selling Suya and observe the whole scene. What I noticed was that the cult guys were free to move around the military men with easy. I suspect they were working together. Reason was other civilian were raising there hands up while crossing the road but this frighten cult guy (I assume they were). Were seen walking freely around the military men without raising their hand up. Then again I heard some men who came out from around the collation center because of fear that something bad might happened with the way the military is handling the issues and aiding the APC agents. One Of them said while he was close around were those guys that looks like sars were he heard their conversations, that their tone sound more like MILITANTS and not sars. But the highest embarrassment was when there was a commotion in the collation center one group ( THUGS) drive down to the round about with their hilux truck where the Nigeria Armies were and start shooting harassing guns. They shoot for about 5 minutes and left. After they left some people were saying they are OJE boys hope I got the spelling well. Immediately it was 4:00pm it started raining and everyone around the collation center left because of the rain. 30minutes when the rain stopped no everyone have left accept some area guys that were patrolling up and down while I find my way.
To me this is not an election but a complete intimidation. With this attitude of win it at all cost Nigeria is heading to Rwanda. |
Politics › Re: why you should not invest in Ogun yet by Lloydfather(m): 10:47am On Aug 17, 2018 |
bloodmoneyspita: in recent times we've heard stories of how Ogun state is the New Lagos State, and why companies are moving into Ogun state instead of Lagos State.
This has made my brothers begin to start investing and moving towards Ogun state, I want them to thread with caution because this dream they hold about Ogun might not come to pass.
1. The baales and Omoniles are selling lands to us like no tomorrow, but there's a catch. We can't get certificate of occupancy from the state government Why? if something happens like war or a new Government policy and the government notices there's development and decide to extend or expand the Land you will not get compensated, so the fact is, it's either the baales gives us land very cheap or we don't buy at all, we should hang like the northerners who only go to beg and never buy land from the west to recide.
2. the news is fake. The news that Ogun is the next Lagos State is half true, this news is supposed to bring in more investment, it's not that it's the next Lagos already, it is done to change your attitude and make you believe that ogun is the next investment hub. there is no truth about this.
conclusion. Look at the way Nigeria has turned out to be, in the next ten years Nigeria might not be peaceful as you think.
All your investment will burn when any policy comes or A new governor that doesn't know the investment that you have in the state. Do not invest in ogun with your eyes closed. do not buy land in Ogun without C-of-O do not start any business in Ogun, the next government policy will not favour you. A word is enough for the wise.
lastly we are not the only one migrating to ogun, the north is also migrating there, we should watch how the northerners assimilate and follow their style too because at the end the people of Ogun will not appreciate your efforts.
get your C-of-O. Thanks for this thread. Infact I have wanted to write something like this after my last visit to Ogun state 3 major cities. Aneokuta, Ota And Ijebu ode. After reading many thread about how Ogun state is nxt to Lagos I went there to see what I can do there. believe me I was disappointed. There's too much hype about this state and people are been deceived thinking it was true. The capital is the most backward capitals I have visited among all the SW states. You'll see old houses built in 18th century all over the places. Ota is even more developed than the state capital maybe it's because of the many companies around there. I didn't mention Agbara because its very much like u are living in Lagos because u hardly notice the boundary between Lagos and Ogun. And 99.9 people living there believed they are lagosians. My conclusion. If Lagos, Abuja and rivers state are 1st class state in Nigeria I will rate Ogun 4th in a rating of top 5 Most beautiful states in nigeria. They are trying to hid this thread |

Education › Re: MUST READ!! 17 Signs Of Highly Intelligent People (do You Have Any Of The Signs? by Lloydfather(m): 1:04pm On Aug 13, 2018 |
sirlekzy: https://www.lekzyloaded.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/images-4-1.jpeg
The world needs more intelligent people to become the kind of peaceful world everyone of us want for us and our children.
If we could have more people thinking more than they usually do out of sentiments and personal gain we would have a better civilized world.
For you to clearly identify intelligent people in the society, these are the signs you see with such ones below.
The Signs
1. They have few friends They might have lot of acquaintances, but they are careful to choose friends who are at their level of intelligence.
2. They hate small talk They prefer deep and thoughtful conversations instead of talking about the weather, about how rich someone is or the latest trends.
3. They are good listeners and they talk less They know they have more to learn in listening than in speaking. So they shut their mouth and open wide their eyes and ears.
4. They are curious They google everything, ask any questions, search every subject. They can easily learn from anyone whether younger than them or not up to their standard, they don’t care.
5. They enjoy loneliness They sit by themselves to practice their craft, to reflect about themselves, their values and their objectives rather than waste time with people who won’t add anything positives to their lives.
6. They invest on themselves They know their mind is their most valuable tool. Thus, instead of chasing money, fame or whatever, they go on improving themselves.
7. They are long-term oriented They don’t care about immediate pleasure for later gratification; they take hard decisions that would pay off in the long run.
They prefer to get the cake tomorrow than get a fish roll today.
8. They don’t mind people’s opinion They have goals and a mission of life and stick to it no matter what people think. They doon’t go around looking for who to like them, rather they appreciate themselves.
9. They are risk takers They know a fulfilling life is beyond their comfort zone. So they are willing to take necessary steps to fulfill their dreams.
10. They are not judgmental Don’t judge people for whatever reasons. They don’t know what is going on in their life, so they would rather keep shut than talk about people when the need to talk arises.
11. They are humble They know how skilled they are, they know they are learned, but they will be laymen in many other areas, so they are dead loyal knowing they are not the Boss in all areas.
They know millions of people are richer, so they don’t let their little change/money get into their head.
12. They work hard They know talent is not enough. So they work every day to be the better version of themselves. They take nothing for granted.
13. They take care of their health They know their health is their most important asset. They eat properly, exercise regularly, sleep well and relax.
14. They are lifelong learners They know learning is a lifelong process that does not stop at school or college.
They travel the world, meet new people, learn new languages, and embrace novel experiences.
15. They have a sense of humor They don’t take life too seriously. They laugh at themselves and make people around laugh
16. They know people are important They are intelligent enough to know they are not better than any body and believe no one is lesser to them
17. They don’t things too personal They also don’t take lists like this serious, they don’t really brag and care less about the glory.
The End!!
Do you have some or all of these habits? If you do, statistics show you are a very intelligent person.
Do you have these qualities and do you think it defines the intelligence of an average individual?
Let’s hear your thoughts below!!

Family › Re: This Is Going On B/w A Married Woman And My Hubby (pics) by Lloydfather(m): 8:20am On Aug 05, 2018 |
Amanda333: Pls mums and dads in the house, I just need ur advice, just tell me the truth if i should apologise to this woman or not. Sorry for the long story and grammatical errors
There is this certain woman, let me say her family and ours are friends. She probably speaks with my hubby b4 he married me. We all are living outside naija but last yr her hubby decided to send her and the kids down to Nigeria. Ever since then, this woman wont let my husband be. She calls her on daily basis, she chats her up on facebook, whatsapp, Imo etc and she will be calling her baby, nwa, papam etc, telling him i love, i miss you bla bla bla. she also send her pictures, sometimes she will bring out her tongue, snap and send the pics to my hubby, not only that she even send pictures of nude and sexy ladies all over my hubby's fone.
At first i kept quite but later i told hubby that am no longer comfortable with what is happening, he said he will tell woman to mind herself, which he did but the woman didn't stop. I decided to talk to the woman by myself since she is somehow my friend. I chatted her up via facebook and begged her to focus on her hubby and be sending all those pics to him, Infact i advised her as a friend and sis because i heard she is having little little issues with her man. She accepted my advise and thanked me yet she didn't want to stop instead she told my hubby to be deleting their chats and her pics/videos, when i saw that i was pained i have to tell her that am aware of what is still going one, that i thought she is a good friend but since she dont want my happiness, no problem she should continue. I ignored everything concerning her chats until one day i was browsing with hubby's fone, her messages started entering, "Hi dear, missing you, feel like hearing ur voice etc" then i lost it, i told her(via hubby's fone) to keep missing and feeling to hear his voice, let her not focus on his hubby and kids, i later called her senseless woman. After like two weeks the woman sent me one letter like that dat i have insulted her enough, that am selfish and jealous etc. I was so annoyed after reading her letter, i have to dish it back to her. We exchanged unpleasant words via messenger, Since then, am not so happy about the issue, i feel like telling her am sorry for the whole issue but one side of me is telling me that i shouldn't do that because she deserved what she got from me (honestly i insulted her so well despite the fact that she is my senior although she didnt want to respect herself). I am a peaceful being i hate keeping malice but this woman really pushed me, can u imagine sometimes she will be calling my hubby by 1 or 2 midnight.
NB: I don't want to tell her hubby whats going on because the man is a nice man, he is my hubby's friend he even came to our house last week Sunday and he respects me alot, he even told me that he want to bring his wife back because she has being misbehaving ever since she travelled to naija. pls i want you guys to advice me, should i tell her sorry or should i 4get her and let our malice continue, I have some of her messages to hubby on my fone but wont send it here because i may see the story somewhere else like igboist and co and hubby is in Igboist
Thanks for ur advice Sorry for a loose harlot that want to destroy ur marriage. If u do that u have automatically given her free license to do the unthinkable. U did well by not telling her hubby. But u need to do a lot of work on ur man to stop those unless conversations with her before his friend knew he was cheating with his wife. |

Sometimes I don't understand how Yoruba people think and reasons, always looking for an excuse to attack someone. I believe this comments are for people's from SE why are people getting heart attack on another people's issues.
Before the jews started to investments back home in Israel, history shows that they have way back developed most part of European countries. So what is bad about the igbos trying to do the same since one Nigeria is not working for us.
What she says up there is 100% accepted and OK by me. And i think we should adopt a workshop for this in every market our people are for better understanding, and to educate us more on the investment opportunities.
Yoruba's can get goose bump on our matters for all I care. |

Amarabae: Let me advise you. Sex is good in marriage but overdoing it look odd and tiring. For some women, 3 times a week is too much, While for some, it's okay What she is trying to tell you is "sweetheart it's not everytime there will be a penetration, we can do some pre-intimacy and romance each other and have fun. It can be a good Mouth Action and then you both sleep without any penetration(if she likes Mouth Action) You can give her a good head and you both sleep. It must not end in penetration. Too much full penetration sex will make both of you burn out and get tired of each other, and the thoughts of cheating will come in. Give penetration sex some time gap so that you both can be refreshed and hungry for it again. . Oriaku Amara sence will not kill u. Your advice were classic hope he understand.
