THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, SIR!!!

God will provide for you. Please take her to the teaching hospital immediately. That BP has to be brought down. It's dangerous as it is. Her urine should be checked for protein as well.

Lastly, she needs to be under observation till delivery.

Please involve your and her family members for financial aid, moral support and prayers.

I pray God perfects everything concerning her. Amen.

Abeg to my fellow November teamies and other sabi mamas, isn't it too early to be feeling this heaviness all over the body embarassed To get up from bed na wahala, sometimes sef to stand up from chair or whatever is with serious caution, to waka long distance nko cry I feel it's still early jare or is there something I'm lacking? Abi how are September and October mamas feeling if me I'm feeling this heaviness now. It is well sha, may God see us through.

We are gradually getting there by His grace.

Swift delivery to motic2 and other August mamas. Go forth and share your testimonies kiss kiss

Not only you oh....we're many on this table. Tail bone pain makes walking a hassle for me. Like that back pelvic joint is disjointed.

If I stand too long, back pain. If I walk moderate distance (like market runs, just to buy here and there), sole of my feet will be aching. If I lie down, to find comfortable spot for me and my bump is issue. To turn, issue. To get up, the tail bone pain will set in.

And I'm due late November/ early December.

I'm not even complaining. May God compensate us all with healthy babies at the end of this journey and grant all TTC mums their heart desires. Amen.

Yes, apply for Visit. She has once said that earlier in the thread.

Is your wife showing yet?

So are you saying that my wife should just apply for visit then rather than medical?

Congratulations! Glad you made it there.

Can you kindly share the contact details of the tour company that did your application? And cost implication if you don't mind. I'll like to apply as well.

Anticipating your response.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

So I got into Brazil last night and I must say that the people are very friendly especially at the airport in São Paulo. You’ll always find someone who speaks English there and willing to help. I was worried about racism and so far I have experienced none despite the fact that 99 percent of people I have seen and related with are white.

In Rio however, it’s difficult to communicate with people except the hotel attendants. I had a difficult time trying to make purchases at the supermarkets. No one speaks English and the labels and instructions are all written in portugese. I’m not someone who likes to try new food so eating has been somewhat difficult for me also

I’m only in Rio for few days and still trying to decide between Sao Paulo and Florianópolis. Please I’ll need suggestions on safe and affordable areas in São Paulo.

There were Nigerians in the flight to São Paulo, about 4 of them speaking Yoruba. I spoke with one when we landed, asked him a few questions but missed him in the process of finding my next flight (which was difficult because the airport is so big)

My fellow January mama how are we doing? Senior mama how waddling? The lord will make the journey easy for us.
Please I have not been feeling like eating for days now and I am not feeling sick. I only force myself to eat. Hope it is normal? I'm 15 wks +
Please experienced mama don't read and pass. Should I be worried or it's normal?

It is normal. Happened to me around the same time. And then, fiam one week after, I started eating like a glutton. Serious hunger pangs every 30 minutes. I'll wake from sleep about 4 times to eat before daybreak. So it's normal, just go with the flow.

As far as you're taking your prenatal vitamins, be rest assured that your baby is getting the necessary nutrient daily.

Thanks everyone for the reply on promethazine.
The promethazine isn't helping much as the vomiting continues.been on IV fluids.any natural remedies to reduce/stop vomiting.feeling so weak.

Sorry dear. Promethazine didn't work for me as well...

Only Doxylamine Succinate did.

I bought mine from RX 3.0 Pharmacy at 146 Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

No natural remedies will work either for those of us with severe MS.

Buy Doxylamine Succinate tablet... It's 3k for 32 tabs in a bottle.
Also buy Vit B6.... N100 worth. Counting is okay.

Use 1 tab of doxylamine succinate and half tab of Vit B6 together.... Once a day preferably at night.

You'll see a massive difference... You'll be shocked.

It's safe for you and safe for your baby. In fact, it's safer than Promethazine.

It will totally suppress the nausea and vomiting and spitting (if you spit).

That's what I used during first trimester when I was vomiting up to 4 to 5 times a day. Ah, I saw weeeeen. I couldn't cope at work. Was always vomiting and extremely weak. So I stopped going to work and didn't mind if they sacked me or not. Imagine.

Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy aka morning sickness but better put as All - Day Sickness for some of us, shouldn't impair your economic productivity as a woman. Or rid you of the excitement of pregnancy and bonding with your Lo and dh. Let's stop suffering and managing.

I'm in second trimester now, baby and I are fine and I no longer have MS.

Eh yah... It works for me. I pray too
What worked for you ma?

Hmmm ... because I was vomiting and very sick and could not cope with work, I had to take Doxylamine Succinate and Vit B6 every night.

It suppresses all my symptoms during the day including the hypersalivation. The only down side is it makes me sleepy. And that's why I take it at night before bed.

Then at 15 weeks, my morning sickness gradually came to a halt and I no longer take the drug.

Though I still vomit like once a week now. But no spitting again. Which is manageable.

Doxylamine succinate and Pyridoxine (Vit B6) is the safest in pregnancy for treatment of morning sickness or hyperemesis gravidarum.

It's a category A drug.

However, it's not common in Nigeria and so doctors resort to prescribing Promethazine (which is Avomine). Promethazine is a category B drug.

Promethazine Tab didn't work for me, so I switched to Doxylamine. I didn't try Promethazine Injection because it would not be sustainable for me as I was so sick and would need it daily.

Choi, see epistle.

I just hope this will be helpful to mamas still battling MS and upcoming mamas in the future.

Thanks ma, for your response

Oh... That's Round Ligament Pain.

Please stop fetching water from the well, let your hubby do the fetching and carrying.

If he isn't cooperating, get your sister or any young relative to come stay with you to help with the house chores.

During pregnancy you shouldn't be carrying heavy stuffs or bending too much. Kindly completely eliminate stress.

I know some witchy neighbors and in-laws will taunt you for it and tag you lazy saying when they were pregnant, they were moving Kilimanjaro.

Na their cup of tea be that one. Biko, you have nothing to prove to anybody.

God forbid yawa gas now, you'll bear the larger part of the brunt o.

Stay off stress!!! Fetching water from well is stressful sis!!! Please!!!!

Look for an alternative arrangement. Maybe pay someone to do the fetching if you can afford it or go for the cheapest option of all time, get a younger relative to stay with you for now.

Me and u de d same situation
Here's a picture of the yogurt that I've been binging on.
And it must be this choco flavour o or else nothing else works and it must be super frozen too. I must be the one using my teeth to break the ice plus it must be this 100 naira own and not the 150 naira own. Lol. Thank God shoprite is close to me so as e de finish, I de buy new one sharply. Today I got 10 and it's almost finished already

Hahaha this was me exactly. In fact, all the exact specs you mentioned.

It has to be choco oh if not World War III will happen.

And it has to be N100 own.

I drink nothing less than 6 - 7 of it per day

Ah, God bless my dh oh. He tried. Driving down daily to get my supply for the day.

Thank God I'm past that stage now.

Hmmm it's indeed a journey. May God give us all happy endings.

How morning fellow sabi mamas, I hail

Congratulations to those who put to bed in the course of the week...God will keep your LOs and make all resources available to you to train them.

Abeg mamas come to my aid...it is not funny at all, why me now, in short I have already made a resolution concerning it

Well I have decided to reconsider, why is it that I cannot drink water, if I drink na so the nausea go high, vomit go follow..I have decided not to play with water again and I have been alright but eeeh what can I use as substitute plus I haven't been using my drugs cos of fear of throwing up...

I'm not a fan of sugary things though so using drink might not work for me plus sugary things add to my nausea...

What's the way forward please I want to be able yo eat and drink water

Sorry mama. I have an issue with drinking water too.

I hydrate with loads and loads of watermelon. You know it's 90% water. Thank God it's in season now.

I also don't like the aftertaste of sugary drinks. So I take superyogo. I can take like N500 worth at once.

Then a preggy friend suggested Amstel Malta to me. It's been a lifesaver. That has been my water after meals. It's not sweet sweet.

Then I step down with watermelon to erase every aftertaste. I've recently added tangerine to my hydration stash.

My mom suggested sipping hot water, I tried it yesterday and it worked. But I don't think it's something I can tolerate on a regular either.

Let me make you laugh. When I boiled satchet water, I didn't like the taste. But when I boiled borehole water from the tap, oh I loved it. In fact it has to be bathroom tap not kitchen tap. DH kept ewwwing.

So just experiment round and see what works for you.

Want to see immediate result?

Go on a strict protein diet for a week. Eliminate rice totally and you'll see fast changes. That's what I'm currently doing and I'm amazed.

For protein, eat beans, moimoi, ekuru, chicken breast...just alternate them like that for variety.

As in between meal snacks, eat fruits like carrot (it's filling).

Ekuru is my new favorite. Less flatulent. No salt or oil.

I suggest that you publish on Okadabooks. It is indigenous and you won't lose so much to tax.

You can also publish on Amazon to reach a wider audience.

Cheers!

gaby:

Thanks bro.Wouldn't have a story to tell if i had left those out so sure they are right there.

Being the subject of the narrative and having read and reread ,if i could nod in affirmation or go all suspended on my own story i'm pretty confident my readers will be wowed.
It came out as fine as i would want, witty and humorously entertaining yet very suspense filled and a story almost everyone of us can relate to as Africans Nay Nigerians.Thats what reality brings to the table i suppose.

I'm looking at self publishing on amazon but the little snag is Amazon will be withholding 60% of the book earnings in taxes and their share as Nigeria has got no tax treaty with the US.

I can actually handle this but thought to be sure to have exhausted every other options before proceeding,so incase you or anyone have an idea for an alternative route to pursue i'd love to be guided.

In the absence of any suggestions tomorrow at the latest i'll go ahead and publish on Amazon

Nonnikings Logistics is terrible.

Slow delivery despite using Express delivery option. 6 days now and my goods haven't even left China.

Worst of all is their zero customer support. You'll call Ifeanyi, he'll ask you to call Vivian, then that one will ask you to call Michael. You'll be talking to them, explaining the situation, they'll drop the call on you.

The guts! On top a service I'm paying for!

You'll still give me BP, waste my time, waste my airtime and ruin my business.

This isn't the first, second or third time. I've had it up to here & I'm ditching them for any other logistic company serious with business.

I'll appreciate recommendations.
