Just last week a friend attested to the fact that wisdom comes with old age and I was so disappointed in myself for having such a DUMB fellow as a friend and I have cut all ties with him since then.
Wisdom doesn't comes with age, only experience does and experience does not amounts to wisdom.

Fruits are succulent , juicy and very beneficial in so many way. I just love to crunch, suck, lick or just chew their deliciousness into my every inviting mouth and send them down my digestive system to do justice to and release their nutrients into my body.

But wait.. There is more..........

I don't just like to eat fruit because it is juicy, sweet or succulent or just because it is in season, like most of us do, I have many other reasons why I eat fruit and I hope to enlighten you on the benefits of eating fruits (Note: You might have just found the fountain of youth).

Eating fruits is more than just for just because it is sweet or just because a website or your doctor says so, for me it is because I understand the benefits.

Eating food for the juiciness alone and because of doctors and websites, is like eating rice only because you like rice, or because it is a type of food and not because it contains carbohydrates which give energy we require for work..

Hey?

Have you been eating rice for any other reason than the nutrients it provides?

You need to improve on that... I will be sharing an article on food and what it entails soon, so you can just subscribe, below so that you wouldn't miss the article.

So here are the 5 reasons why I eat fruits.

But before we get down to that you must know this:

Consuming too much fruits its actually not good for you health as fruits contain a sugar known as fructose which will have a dire impact on your health (you see the difference between understanding something and just reading and believing).

Okay so here they are:

1. It is how I say Bye Bye and No No to Infections

Yes, I eat fruits just to prevent infection, my body gets a boost of nutrition just from taking fruits, remember the saying

An apple a day keep the doctor away

Well, I don't joke with that, Bacteria is everywhere, and I got to step up my game (immune system). So I don't wait for season to define my intake of fruits, I calculate the nutrients...

They are like a power packed nutritious strongman, with the combination of nutrients such as powerful flavonoids, antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, phytochemicals and the countless micro- and macronutrients which are very advantageous for my health.

2. Because Natural Vitamin C is the Best

You might have heard of vitamin C and also you might have taken the one in tablet (medicine).. But I prefer the ones that comes from fruits, nature is quite easier to preserve than medicines and not all pharmacies are 100% clean, so give me Vitamin C from a fruit everyday.

3. Fruits can do so much more

It's not just only about fighting infections and being safer than medicines which can be found in the pharmacy, it is also about boosting energy, boosting my immune system and also improve my eyesight, (I take carrots for the eye sight part and if you do you should know this).

4. And Much More

Fruits help me stay healthy by cutting my chances of having heat stroke, high blood pressure (although you have to slow down on intake to make this one possible), cancer, heart diseases and diabetes, while promoting a healthy skin by fighting skin disorders and healthy hair growth..

5. Because Prevention is Better than Treatment

Buying and eating fruits is much more cheaper, than curing a disease and staying in hospital for weeks, there are some things I can prevent like I said above in No. 3 and 4. and I love to save my money. Thank you.

So why do you eat fruits or why will you start eating fruit.

Culture › Re: Strange Scenes From Coronation Of Oba In Benin Kingdom. by loadedvibes: 6:15pm On Oct 19, 2016
You will see tomorrow na. Nobody wears him the crown he picks it up and wears it himself.

AreaFada2:
Actually someone symbolically does. It is chief Oliha of Benin. His palace is at Oliha Quarters in Benin. But he's not the kingmaker. It so happened he was the senior Benin chief who led others to bring Oranmiyan from Ife/Uhe. Others were Edohen, Ero, Eholor Nire, Ezomo. To make the 5 Uzama chiefs. Oloton who came from Ife with Oranmiyan later joined the Uzama. Oba Ewuare The Great added the crown prince as the 7th Uzama.

These 7 senior nobles called Uzama n'Ihiron are erroneously called the king makers by outsiders. King makers do not exist in Benin. Since no election, selection or any other politics is involved. He was crown prince from birth.

The crowning and public proclamation as King XYZ is just to fulfil tradition.

Old age can be an embodiment of EXPERIENCE, the problem is a lot of people assume that experience is synonymous with wisdom which isn't always the case.

The assumption that old age is an embodiment of wisdom is false. Actually, it’s a lie seeking conversion to truth. Wisdom has nothing to do with longevity just as foolishness is not synonymous to youth. I have met old men who are foolish and I have also met young men who are epitome of wisdom. I have met old men who were foolish, who only later learnt through regret and sorrow. Yet some young men have proven over and over again that you don’t have to be foolish before you can be wise. I have met young men who have allowed foolishness to guide them into the beautiful garden of wisdom and I have met old men who despise instructions and feel confident all the same.

“We always romanticize that our elders are wise because of their years of experience, but do you know what? Stupid people get old too” Matt Black.

A man can be 60 years old and be a fool while his 25 years old son can be very wise. How can you explain a 60 years old gate man and his principled employer who is barely 28 years old? Well you can say that does not measure wisdom. Am sure you are even thinking about that already. To have arrived in an unfortunate reality is to have made series of foolish decisions; a clear indication that wisdom wasn’t present after all. See, you cannot be wise and be poor. Wisdom and poverty are two independent realities. In fact one of the proofs of wisdom is prosperity. If a man is truly wise, the result of his wisdom is reflected in his everyday endeavours.

When I talk about prosperity in this manner, am talking strictly beyond wealth though inclusive. Prosperity is the management of complexities without losing inner peace and sanity. It is a state of tranquility in the face of adversity. Prosperity defines that reality given birth to by that intrinsic quality which searches all knowledge and truth and still be content. How exactly can a man who possesses this quality not be wealthy in both material and spiritual things? Show me a man who is wise and poor and I will show you a man with the illusion of wisdom. An old testament Ecclesiastes, King Solomon wrote about a certain man who was poor but wise. In his analysis, he asserted that the wisdom of the poor wise man was despised because he was poor, even though he had saved the city from a siege. Solomon then went on to conclude that this was a great evil under the sun. In my opinion, what Solomon desperately wanted to communicate what that there is a great disconnect between wisdom and wealth.

So next time when you hear statements like “what an elder sees while sitting down, even if a small boy climb an iroko tree, he will never see it” please by all means audit the life of the elder and that of the so called small boy. At time it is the elder that is not seeing and he may not see really even if he climbs the metaphorical iroko tree. I have seen incredible ideas waste away because of that particular statement. I have also been a victim at some point. Elders are not always wise; therefore, they are not always right. Those who pass knowledge also pass errors.

I am not in any way saying that youths are wiser than elders or elders are foolish altogether; NO! The purpose of this article is not to deliberate on who is wise or who is not wise. My submission here is simple. Anybody can be wise just as anybody can be foolish depending on our choices per time and per circumstances. Nobody is wise as an emblem as nobody is foolish as an emblem. Old age is not a proof of wisdom and youth does not connote foolishness period. It is the choices that we make that define our lots in life. Wisdom is always an available commodity for anyone ready to access it. Mortals must choose a higher code of living and deliberately submit themselves to principles sound enough to engender that distinguishable trait that only wisdom can give. Those principles will be love, kindness, empathy, robust thinking, study, merit, credible collaboration with sound minds and the kind of virtue that society can be grateful for. If these qualities define you, then welcome to the club.
