Have you noticed it? On one hand we are seeing an alliance between the South East, South South and the Middle Belt/NC. On another hand we have the Core North and the South west. We have four major Presidential candidates: Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, Ahmed Tinubu and Rabiu Kwankwaso. Many of you think this Obi movement is a joke but here in the middle belt it is becoming a life or otherwise affair, literally. While three of the Muslim candidates and a VP are struggling for votes from their indigenous aligned regions making votes too saturated, Obi/Datti on the other hand seems to easily be the most preferred by the other block and even parts of South West. Open your eyes people, Nigeria is changing and it seems an Igbo man is leading it now. |
Tinubuagbado:Amen my brother. |
David160:You are very correct, Jonathan is a perfect example. Even after doing everything to please them they still treated him like dirt and betrayed him. Buhari their man is giving them hot hot like there's no tomorrow, even with most of the appointments going to them. Isn't God wonderful?! |
FreeStuffsNG:Let me tell you a story of two Nigerian Presidents. One is Obasanjo the other is Ebele Jonathan, both Southerners. Obasanjo played the federal character to the core and served two terms. Ebele Jonathan did everything to please the North still the Yorubas and the North came together and removed him. Lesson I've learned is if a people hate you nothing you do for them will they appreciate. Since you Yorubas and your counterparts in the North decide on total hate, we the Christian North and the South South decide on love, reason and common sense. We will work together for Obi and the Labour Party. Good luck to you and them in your journey! |
I went through the list and personally I am impressed, very. But that's me, a Christian minority Northerner. I read some comments from people saying the list is filled with Southerners or Christians, which is actually very false. But putting myself in their shoes, you know for almost a decade now and throughout most of Nigeria's history we are used to seeing every public office mostly occupied by a section of the country, from a specific religion. Justice, equality and even federal character was never a reality, well maybe with the exception of the Obasanjo's administration that is. Do you think a Labour Party campaign counsel with names not exceptionally and clearly dominated by the Core North will be taken seriously by the region? the thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7379545/2023-presidential-election-full-list

I remember when I was growing up, before the advent of the social media. If a guy or a man is not in a relationship or if he seems to stay away from women and s*x people will assume he is "forming holy holy" or has a low self esteem or a workaholic, a nerd or even impotent, etc. But never was there a talk or thought of him being a homo. The idea was non existing. I shake my head at how low thinking many have gone when if they ask me if "I get woman?" and I say no not interested, they arrive at the most dirty unpleasant thought, as the topic suggests. It is a mind game people! When has homos*xu*lity become a topic, a thing in our society? When? Don't let them deceive you, there is nothing like "sexu*al orientation", stop using that phrase, purge that from your vocabulary. I promise you, years after Bubrosky became a topic I never knew his face, not even the correct spelling of his name. When people accuse others of being homos I tell them against such talk cos it doesn't exist as much as the attention we give it. Case in point that guy called James Brown. I always scuffle at talks surrounding him and it became proven from the intimacy video he released, which I didn't watch. Don't let them overwhelm you with lies, there is only one s*xual orientation and that is between two opposite genders. Don't make the topic popular by engaging them in talks about it. Your celebrities and footballers are paid or cajoled to sell that non existing ideas in your heads. Don't indulge it. We are Africans and ooh I love being a black, proud one! This is CNN choking it down our throats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHxzNE3sV3U&list=WL&index=2 |
Romanoff:You don minit, very very very? Wow! We learn everyday. How I go take ask that girl now na im be issue. |
Does the house have a standby generator, if so what is the capacity? I am interested. |
OnyeAshuaUru:If he performs well and exceptional it will only sky rocket. |
Kenpaly:Nope, never wrote that. Click the link I provided and read the post well. |
Romanoff:May God redeem me but to tell the truth I don't know the question is inappropriate. As guys, asking that question is like asking someone their names. But well, that is what you get for being a Bush man who doesn't know anything about women. Bye. |
PrinceofAgoAre:Oh, okay. See how you answered simply. Baba I been dey use am play small ne. These ladies are too narrow minded, everything is fight and aggression with them, I really pity our Naija brothers sha. No wonder some men die sooner. |
Romanoff:Madam wetin happen, why are you wearing war armor? I insult you? I only asked you if you're a virgin and I said "sorry" and "just curious". If you will tell me talk if not I demand an apology now for this outburst. |
Romanoff:Madam calm down, calm down. If I see you on the street being attacked tomorrow and look away will you be okay with it, will you? Ah ah?! Even the law doesn't allow that. So my question is legit, its just a simple question of yes or no and if you wish to explain further I listen. Wunna too dey vex I tell you. |
Romanoff:Oya give me fes. I don't know why you people are very secretive, I don't know you and you don't know me, what are you hiding in a faceless forum? |
Prettygirl200:Good, you're welcome. |
I made lots of claims and predictions about the the way the elections will turn out. One specifically is already happening as we speak. I said the PDP and APC will work together against the Labour Party and Peter Obi, among other things. Well, now we all are seeing it is a reality and is happening sooner than I thought. Reno the big mouth is a clear example. https://www.nairaland.com/7278840/tinubu-atiku-work-together-come#115650280 Note, Obi/Datti's popularity hasn't reached its peak yet, that is until about mid January next year. Take note my people, the kitchen only gets hotter. |
Millz404:I made a post telling people both parties will work together against Obi people didn't understand what I was saying. |
Prettygirl200:Madam I no do. Just summarize for me let me get the picture. |
Prettygirl200: This your comment is funny oh, who is li min hu? What movies are you mentioning? Mama I have not watched a complete movie now for months. I only watch short recaps on Youtube and Korean Movies are not it. |
Prettygirl200:I really do not know the movies you're naming but I think you are on the right path, I just checked your posts. Don't worry, keep your mind straight. |
Romanoff:Nope, that's my business. |
Romanoff:So for asking, are you a virgin? Please don't be offended, just curious. |
Abdul05:Yeah, and in his presence all their past choices was a disaster right? At least the Afenifere Group have been vindicated multiple times, it's now up to them to put on their thinking brains now and listen. |
Tinubuagbado:I made a post sometime ago about Tinubu, I went back to check and found that every likes from others was pushed to a single Tinubu supporter, all except ones by me. It wasn't from bots but those who have the Nairaland source code, ti's was deliberate |
VTJN:Is that how you wish to kill "your fellow man's business"? Okay, in due time we will leave here for you people. Thank you. |
[quote author=general111 post=117453272]Sorry. |
Lately the amount of false and fake news and info being pushed to front page is alarming. Today a "news" will pop out tomorrow a disclaimer will be made, by the people the news is centring around. I've been on Nairaland for years now and it wasn't like this in previous elections, why now? There was a news saying Labour Party released their elections campaign timetable with source from twitter, today a verified credible source disproved the earlier news. I know the new campaign strategy now is attacking a "structureless" party but at least that party have a website, confirm from them first. Is this why Lalasticlala is no more with us? Every week multiple disclaimers on multiple posts mostly targeting one group. Elections will come and go but Nigeria and Nairaland remains, only if there's plan of changing it then let us all know. Their is God oh!! |
ezechi242:Even though your stats are a little off but as someone Said that still gets me laughing, "eh go do them like blue film". Let's just push and pray for fair, free elections. |
Eniitankorede:Your only hope is that the Igbo hate come through for you in 2023. We'll see, drink water, calm down and wait. |
general111:Dreaming is a vital part of human existence, and it's free, for everyone. |
Wait a minute, read the stats below: Jonathan (PDP) Buhari (CPC) TOTAL 58.89%, 31.98%, TOTAL 22,616,416, 12,250,853, That is the percentage of votes in 2011. Bare with me now: Buhari, Jonathan TOTAL 15,424,921, 12,853,162 And that's for the 2015 elections. You see, Buhari is probably the most idolised and iconic Northerner alive by the common man on the streets, or used to be. Yet Buhari was unable to just hop on the presidential seat after multiple tries till the South and Christian North came together for him. My boss, a Winners (Living Faith) member always told me of how half the Church members refused to stand for Jonathan at the request of the Pastor Oyedepo, the founder, for prayers when he visited before the 2015 elections. Yes, that's how far Christians came together for our man Buhari in 2015 before pulling those numbers you see up there. Still only beating Jona by less than 3 mill. votes. My people, as a Kaduna indigene let me tell you that Kwankwaso as a character is more admired than Atiku in the North for many reasons I won't explain now. See, Buhari the one and only "Northern block votes" wielder is not in the ballot in 2023. If Jonathan can perform such wonders in 2015, Peter Obi will do more in the North. Already he is more popular among the Christian brethren. Peter Obi has not reached his peak popularity yet, that won't happen till around January next year by my analysis. The North, not just Christians, will vote Labour Party. Mark my words today! But before then Southern voters most know their strengths at the ballot first. |
