beecrofty:. . . and who says working at Mr Biggs is even degrading? There are actual "degrading" jobs that pay much better than that. Na u dey craze. slowpoke. |
You can't call a man giving his kid 200k per month stipend "middle-class". Oh by the way, the person that said something about kids in Nigeria only having degrading jobs available, fact is kids in the US will take what you call "degrading". That is the difference. |
manny4life:Apparently there are charges you incur when you have your taxes (tax returns) prepared by a tax return handling company which could be paid in cash. The whole point is, the assumption that all tax is deducted from source therefore no form of cash payments will be required as far as handling the process is concerned is not correct. Also check out item 5 on this page: http://www.ehow.com/how_4829603_irs-tax-payments.html Visit your local IRS office to pay in cash. Cash is not allowed through the mail and must be given to a worker at the IRS office. You will get a receipt for every payment you make. This is even the most likely scenario in which the fake currency was used as payment. |
Does the man on the street know these security features? I was handed a fake note at a mallam road-side kiosk. He was of course not aware, and the only reason I knew it was fake was the fact that the ink ran (as a result of contact with water), leading to blotting on the note. |
madprof:Apparently you don't know how things are done in the US so you shouldn't have spoken about this. There's something called 1099 which means you handle your tax payments, and not your employer. This of course mostly applies to self-employed people. And in that case, you can of course pay cash at a tax handler outlet. |
Well, I had no plans of buying it at more than the official GBP value (of 509.79) which is the price it was ordered from the UK online store. Yeah, with RebelSIM Cutter and Adapter, it should all be less than 130k NGN. |
candylips:lol |
All of them are wrong. The best languages are Yoruba and English in that order. |
Doesn't epassport.com have customer service? ![]() https://www.epassporte.com/secure/jsp/ContactUsPersonal.jsp https://www.epassporte.com/secure/jsp/Questions.jsp I hope you read this part: What geographic locations could affect functionality? |
. . . if you don't know by now, you will never, never know. |
texazzpete:Not as much work when it already runs on another *nix variant. From what I gather, HTC HD2 comes with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. |
Sim contacts? Or you mean the chip? |
Donpuzo, I don't know what you are on to, but since you have Internet access (as you are posting) I figure you can find out what an Expert System is. I don't need to take a memory trip back 14 years to remember one of the courses I took at the University, and to know how wide it is, the course itself was named "Expert Systems". |
Your lecturer has already told you how to go about it so go read up on Expert Systems. And you should know that Expert Systems are not as easy as Donpuzo described. Only very trivial problems can be solved using an if-else structure. |
1.1.4? |
"doGet" will be more appropriate since it's a link (and I'm assuming the link is not to execute a form submit through Javascript). The link should of course conform to the URL pattern defined for the servlet. And yes, the HttpServletRequest parameter passed to the "doGet" method will allow you to access any parameters you passed through the URL query string. |
Why don't you write a program to check all these? |
Shaunscot:Oh really? I wonder why Barcelona has the acronym FCB (Futbol Club Barcelona) then, and not CFB. Such a triviality. |
Email address invalid: Invalid domain name. |
Ever heard of UUID? Use Google. |
candylips:Well, u better get acquainted with it if you plan to do any (native app) iPhone development. |
Ghenghis:Indeed: In August 2006, Apple announced that DTrace, a dynamic tracing framework created by Sun Microsystems and released as part of OpenSolaris, would be integrated into Xcode as Xray; Xray was later renamed to Instruments.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xcode |
If these are new (non-migrated) databases and built for XML, why don't you simply use XML Databases? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML_database |
cdeveloper:I thought there were just 2? |
Something that has to do with translation of Nigerian languages (between each other and some foreign languages such as English) will draw my attention. |
Abi o. To think that because web development is just 20 years old, therefore all those working on web development are young is simply ridiculous. Web development is still a subset of software development, and therefore project management for web applications still followed the same strategies that have been used in developing applications since the 60s. Therefore you would expect the early project managers were advanced in age, and some of course had to quickly pick up on web app development. This apart from the fact that some people in advanced ages simply picked up web app development either as a hobby or full/part-time job (at least in the US where there is no age discrimination - you will not find clauses such as "candidate should not be older than 26 years old" in a job advert, as the advertiser will be inviting a class action lawsuit). |
papas:Well, even though I'm responding a bit late, I'm sure by now you'd have found the method you referred to was already outdated. As at the time you were searching for a custom 3.1.2 I was already running on 3.1.2 having done the jailbreak/unlock with blackra1n. |
I am not your typical politically correct person, so I state it as it is. I had no intention of bringing ethnic sentiments or politics into the Programming Section; but at the same time I had to express my disappointment at the location of the conference. If I should say the location is OK, then I am basically accepting that the sudden riots that occur in the North are normal. I will not support any conferences of any kind with the venues north of the Niger until they fix their issues. Interestingly I was going to mention Abuja, but then I left it out so as not to appear to be offering appeasement to the Northerners. I have no such intention (of appeasing anybody). Abuja is no more neutral than Lagos is. |
IG:How many white men or foreigners have ever been reported killed in all those riots in the North? Not that there aren't any, but they are not silly enough to go after them. I value my life enough to stay away from areas where violence breaks out at the drop of a hat, and I cannot speak enough Fulani or Hausa to save my neck. If the organizers are serious, they should schedule the conference for Lagos, where I have no doubt the highest concentration of Open-source software users/developers exists in Nigeria. |
