The owners of the vehicle came out but those who attacked us ran, thinking that the Camry owners were part of my security details. That is the recommended MOD when being attacked on the road - hit the car in front of you. |

From the arching of the cat's back, it's coming down. If it was going up, it will be stretching not arching it's back.

zubyarchangel: I don't reside in Lagos, Yorubas were the first to obtain meaningful education no doubt thanks to Awolowo, thus They might have started producing movies probably before independence but we are talking quality....Living in Bondage by Kenneth Nnebue was the movie that brought today's Nollywood worldwide attention.....I can't keep explaining this little facts Sir, I believe that's why google and Wikipedia are there..... Lol. Quality? I am sure you meant to say quantity. And speaking of worldwide attention, the likes of Hubert Ogunde and his contemporaries whom I earlier mentioned already garnered that in the 70s. It's not their fault if you were too far away from civilization to know what's going on. |

CecyAdrian: I at times marvel at the specie of humans on these forum. Can't you argue or make your point without reducing yourself to a low life reject with your insults?. Now Listen My dear,Igbo movies paved th way for your yoruba drama to even be aired. Now Multichoice didn't give them a channel not because their films can't generate money for them but because a yoruba Man owns Multichoice in Nigeria and it happened to be situated in a yoruba land. The wisest thing to do and gain views is to first launch an indigenous channel, one that people in lagos can relate with. And what language do the people of Lagos speak? Repeating the same ret@rded opinion a million times will never make it a fact. Secondly, you just stated the same thing I said in a different way (but logic eludes you) - if Africa Magic Igbo was financially viable, it would've been considered from the get go. Now, why was it not commercially viable? You go figure that out. |

But did his father shoot movies in celluloid? Is he continuing his father's legacy? Are his movies indistinguishable from celluloid movies? Did Igbos pioneer the movie industry in Nigeria? Now answer all the questions and tell us which has a NO answer. Then we will be back on track. |

If there was a big enough market for Africa Magic Igbo that will MAKE MONEY for Multichoice, they would've long considered it. |

naijamerican: No one gives a damn about the useless Yoruba movies you and your foolish relations watched on your celluloid film. The fact of the matter is no one gave a damn about Nigerian cinema until the igbos took African film to the next level. Even irrational Igbo haters like yourself can't deny that.
No feel free to hug a transformer. If feel increasingly stupid engaging in a back and forth with my intellectual inferior. naijamerican: No one cares about the useless movies you and your useless relations watched on the tv likely sold to you by one of the horrible igbos you detest. Anyone with even a modicum of intelligence knows that it was the igbos that pushed the reach and popularity of nollywood into the worldwide phenomenon that it is today. The same nollywood that all tribes use to feed their families. It is on our stupid goats like yourself and the mugu that started this thread that feel somehow the very same igbos that built this industry into what is today are the same group destroying it it piracy.
My god you and your type have about as much brain power as a plate of pounded yam! Tufiakwa! May Sopana strike you and your entire family. Especially your Zinjanthropus of a FATHER and half Australopithecus, half Bonobo of a prost1tute mother. Now, let me further educate you. No, back then we didn't watch those movies on TV, mor0n. We went to the Cinema. These movies were shot in celluloid. Not cheap cameras, and hustler producers. And Kunle Afolayan has continued that tradition - real cinema movies. Celluloid. I am sure even he does not want to be associated with Nollywood which is synonymous with "mass produced garbage". I like the fact you called the guy that started the thread a mugu. It shows you are too ret@rded to even realize he's on your side. |

Chai...See all these Igbo founders of Nigerian movie industry. By the way, the only pioneer whose origins could be traced anywhere close to the South East was Eddie Ugboma (from Delta State); who lived in Lagos all his life and made many Yoruba movies and for Yoruba audiences (Oyenusi, Toriade, Apalara, Omiran Esun Ake, etc). |

zubyarchangel: well you have a harddrive where you have probably downloaded "fast and furious five" soon your friends kunle, and Ajibola, and Olabisi will ask to copy new movies from your hard drive......and they will all keep the ball rolling.......sending the pirated content "YOU" downloaded...... ...which I am NOT SELLING. By the way, do this analysis: In Nigeria, downloads are capped. Not the same as say the US where you have unlimited downloads for as low as $25/month. So, I buy 6GB for 8000 NGN. Let's even say I got 8GB for 8000 NGN. That translates into 1G for 1000 NGN. Meaning 700 MB for 700 NGN which is the minimum size of a good resolution video. Do you know how much I will pay to watch same movie on DSTV pay-per-view? About 350 NGN! |

jayfolarin: I am not supporting his statement of threats. What threats? The only people who will see any threats are those given to mysticism and believe in curses. You know, it's like when a Yoruba man says "wa wo gbo lo"...meaning "you will go missing..." or literally..."you will enter the bush"...that's a curse not a threat. |
