FamilyRe: How Much Should A Man Earn To Sustain A Marriage? by Lola4eva(f): 1:11pm On Dec 12, 2007
First thing ill say is that not all girls seek ready made guys, personally i like guys that are very ambitious, u might not necessarily have money but if uve got that drive, intelligence and ambition ill definitely find you attractive and wuldnt mind going into a relationship with you, the reason some girls ask those questions ( thou most ask for material reasons) is cos they need to find out if the guy in question is intellectually ok, and has a reasonable enuff job to sustain them if they eventually get married. If ure unemployed but can prove to a lady that ure smart and uve got ambition and ull certainly make it soon, i see no reason why she shouldn't dig you.

As for the getting married if uve got no money, i would advise against it. Personally i think a man should earn a steady income of say a minimum of about a million yearly to sustain a marriage considering he'll be paying bills like house rent, nepa, hospital bills (when d wife takes in) and so on.

shagger:
seun I don't know why some of my posts are not included, that is by the way .To davidalyn and mr pataki:
you guys need to be more objective on this issue, before i go any further on the topic, I would like us to be object by analysing some things.
First and foremost, the fact that AREA BOYS (NOT MUSLIMS) unleashed terror on innocent people is very wrong but does it make pulling down another man's house RIGHT. In the first instance, why should someones work be destroyed, why should fellow humans be killing each other, why is Saudi Arabia not killing christians and why is the wars fought in Pakistan, Iran Afghanistan and all the others(where so many innocent lives were lost.) were taking by so many to be justified.where are the nuclear plants and weapons alleged to be in Iraq? we need to be a bit objective, because most of the uprising are actually politically motivated don't you see it?
Does robbing with automatic rifles killing and maiming people make political robbery that does not involve immmediate killing of people right(though neither is right).
All these are food for thought, you need to always check very well before reaponding to issues at any period PLEASE!
To Seun, you don't need to blacklist people, let them express their thought.
I couldnt have said it any better, thank you so much for pointing out those facts. Christians and muslims have been living together peacefully in so many parts of the world but there are extremists that exist within both religions that will not just let peace reign, hence when the slightest opportunity for a battle arises, blood shed occurs and who gets the blame "the muslims" because "every christian believes islam is the religion that preaches violence", what they fail to understand is that individuals are different and no one should be held accountabe for any mans sins just because they share the same religion.

I think instead of slandering muslims and saying the usual bull**** we could all pray for the family of the person that lost his life and for those that lost their homes and hope that sanity returns to the state soonest!

@davidylan- u once said that u had muslim friends, i really hope they know how you truly feel about them

@ ayeesha-have u noticed that most of amanda quick's historicals have that funny side to it, they're such fun to read

im sure u know she writes as jayne ann krentz for her contemporary romance novels and as jayne castle for her futuristic books, darn u just got to love her, im such a big fan.

for her newest titles u could check out her page on www.krentz-quick.com, it'll help with ur collection.

@chychy-yeah we've heard, u can leave the thread now, bye.
RomanceRe: Social Compatibility by Lola4eva(f): 3:32pm On Dec 11, 2007
@ seun- i think u're being too harsh on the poster, being the elder one she's acting on her natural protective instincts and yes he might be responsible but may not flow with the chic

@poster- i think that being socially compatible is very important in any relationship, if they dont have any thing in common or cant have a fun conversation together, hang out or do stuff together then ur sister is bound to get bored soonest. and she saying she'll change him, that may be hard considering he's a man already. I suggest u try talking to her but if she insists then free her, it's her life, let her make her own mistakes
LiteratureRe: Addicted To Romance Novels? by Lola4eva(op): 2:21pm On Dec 11, 2007

I also like linda howard, ive read some of her books
LiteratureRe: Be A Literate Out Of The Two: Reading Or Writing? Which Of It Do U Love? by Lola4eva(f): 2:12pm On Dec 11, 2007
I dont agree that the ability to write comes naturally from reading a lot, yeah it could help build your vocabulary but writing aint beans, so if ure to make a choice between learning how to read or write, its better u're taught how to write. I mean once u get ur basic education u should be able to read, its just ur attitude that may keep u from actually becoming a good reader, however writing is a totally different ballgame, believe me i know wat im talking about. I joined a publishing firm for my service year and i thought i could handle the pressure, by the time they edit my first write up ehnnn, thats when i know say writing no be beans!
