Guy, I tell you if you encounter some of them and their mentality, all form of sympathy will dry up. To many of them, children is more of a status symbol, or pawns to gain sympathy. They don't see them as priceless, beautiful gifts from GOD that should be nurtured, educated and catered for. Hence you'll a tomato seller having 7 children, NONE in school.

My organisation has been invloved with them so I know. We provide education on the need to have smaller, and even contraceptives FREE of charge through the UNFPA program. Yet, many refuse. Even if the women are willing to use some form of birth control, the man will have none if it. And so, depressingly, you see them churning out children like rabbits. . .

Then they will be blaming others for their problems. They will blame their rich family members or boss for not giving them money to cater for their kids as if they are the ones that sent them to have more than they can cater for. Your boss will have 2 children, you will have 5 yet you will be blaming the man for not dashing you money to pay the children's school fees as if he's the one that sent you on errand! Irresponsible people

My only sympathy is that the man may not have planned for the extra two children. However, it is something a simple scan of less than N1000 would have shown. Had that happened, its extremely unlike the woman would have had complications which has warranted much of the expenses.

Poor people don't need to have 3 children. Even wealthy people are having just 2, have a few children and give them the best quality of life you can afford. That is what many poor people refuse to understand

in this age where women have been deservedly emancipated, I think they are the ones who do it more, maybe to prove what a man can do, a women it better. their reasons for doing it varies anyway, especially at home. only wise wives desist from such. men on the other hand are partly responsible for what their rich and powerful wives do to them.

Many rich men are also arrogant and treat their wives like crap. Money and position generally gives eople more power in a relationship no mater their sex.
