Depends on your stockbroking firm........Some firm can sell virtually any stock.........The price of Vitafoam was 5.25 and I bought mine at 5......I just don't think people should put too much money on it because the size of a company also matters................

By my own "tumbum tumbum" analysis, I will pick Unity and Skye ahead of Vitafoam. But this is just my opinion. I have no "privileged" info to back it up.

For now, I'm loading Skye. Skye is perfect for me as long as I can get it at a good premium below N3. Unity is showing good signs of recovery but I'm not interested in it.

Don't know if this is of any good on speculation on Skye.

Acquisition of Mainstreet will be concluded June 1st.........and the bank will be on its way to being a tier 1 bank!

***Note: Not a recommendation for buy/sell.

The reason we are backward as a nation is because everybody is looking for someone to solve their problem for them. Some can not even use their head to think. The so called oga of picking stock for this public forum was obvisiously stating the obvious about vitafoam! If there is merger there will always be a winner and losser. Use your head people!

Oga, Take am easy. You don't have monopoly of wisdom.

Thanks Sai Baba, I was able to offload my entire Vitafoam portfolio with capital gains. It could have been worse. Vitafoam is not a very liquid stock and has no institutional investors in their holdings. Institutional investors don't invest in illiquid stock (apart from market makers).

Share structure of Vitafoam obviously shows there is no room for institutional investors......Their outstanding shares is less than a billion unit even........Profit of this company is not huge as well.........Vitafoam is good for traders and local investors.............

Illiquid stock is dangerous to lock money into. It will be a very smart move if one knows when to cash out!

Even the proponents of "Sell in May" have refused to "Go away". They have taken seats 'sharperly' inside Oando and Vitafoam.

@oga mi myjoy08: Wetin we go do na? If this thread remains active, I doubt I will have time for any other comedy. So much fun in here!

@Manonamission: kudos. I appreciate your efforts at instilling virtue in people.

@oga Agbalowomeri: You sure must be having fun each time you refresh your browser. Enjoy!

@ALL: Just as this fellow bought SOME shares (let me not say LOADED MANY) before serving you the meal. I can bet he will dump his holdings before alerting you (unless he repents before then) if this Vitafoam fails to reach the touted 100%.

This is what Agbalowomeri will call "panmo" and his tribesmen will call "ajeku" (I. E the remainder after the stock has been dumped massively). Don't be trapped in this coy! Don't sleep with two eyes closed!! Don't say you were not told!!!

Boss, did you say "Due diligence"

Please I beg to differ. IMHO, na people wey no get CORRECT INSIDER INFORMATION dey do DD. grin Ask the Vitafoam man what level of DD he did... I hope you won't be shocked.

Truth is, THE GAME HAS NO NAME! Some people call it Kalo Kalo. Some people do only TA, others join FA to it. Some only take whatever their broker tells them. Different strokes, my dear.

Fundamental is lacking on NSE so most times the best judgement to use is proximity to relevant INSIDER information (few names in NSEMPA on my mind). Your Risk appetite is KEY in this business of stock trading.

I remembered in Q4, 2013 - Q1, 2014 when FO was constantly making 10%, i bought this stock prior to its upward movement and opted out after 40% gain (Fear of the unknown) whereas others with high Risk Appetite stayed put and made over 400% - 600% gain within few months. Such is Life!!!

So many examples abound everywhere (Ikeja Hotel and other stocks), the latest being Fidelity shares that sold for N1.10 in Feb 2015 and made over 80% gain within few weeks

Sir, Unity Bank has an all time low of N2.13 (21k). Without factoring in any transaction charges, 30% appreciation at this entry price compounded will be N2.83. The stock had an intraday high and closed at 2.75. Please tell us another story.
