Jesus spoke about marriage, paul use a whole chapter of 1cor 7 to speak on marriage, Ephesians spoke on marriage etc. where do dey say u shud seek will of God in marriages. if u cannot show me any place where I can find seeking the will of God in marriage or give example of those that did it in the bible, pls stop quoting me.

Paul practically condemn women teaching in church, and equally talked abt modest dressing. but all I can say is that he was led by spirit of God on the issue of modest dressing and he wasn't on the other hand bcus we go against the other part in Deeper life.

Why would they make mention of an issue that is generally accepted . Are the apostles makers of laws? They follow the laws and the teachings of our Lord Jesus.

If there was need not to pay tithes, they would have mentioned it like the issue of circumcision.

I think the Scriptures is quite clear on that and clearly mentions all the categories. One thing I've noticed about we Deeper Lifers, some of us are arrogant when it comes to condemning fellow believers especially on non essentials. In our church we have the the 22 cardinal Bible doctrines,have you asked yourself whether this issue is among those Bible doctrines ? I used to have this mentality but i realised we are not the only Christians upholding the standard of the word of God in this nation and we should accept our fellow christians from other denominations too and not killing ourselves over jewelry this and jewelry that as if it was ever a factor in our salvation.

Besides, the groom wears a suit and continues to wear it after the wedding. However, the bride spends a lot of money on the gown and cannot wear it again....What is the moral or economic justification for that? Is it not to satisfy the iniquitous desire to be like the world?
