michV: issue of refunds is devastating especially when handled like this.since it was an agent that facilitated your application/admission,i feel he has the appropriate contacts in connection of getting your refund. You may have been mailing the inappropriate contacts responsible for that. Likewise during mine,my admission officer aided the processing of mine, she later handed me over to another lady involved specifically for matters concerning international refunds and student activities.though i just got part of some payment because fee increment made me paid twice,i am still expecting the remainder Hello michV How long did your payment take and I want to ask if you used the 3rd party option. I want to get my refund but when was hearing here that the funds will be sent back to the originating account and I will be paid naira here it just put me off so I am considering the 3rd party option. Thanks |

lonzo: Hello Guys
Just want to ask a few questions
I am married with 2 kids
Work with an oil and gas firm, earn 321k monthly after tax
Been to the U.k once on a 6months visa, also got a 2yr visa which I didn't use due to transfer from work and some family issues
Wife and kids no travel history
Now I want to apply to the US with my son
But the issue now is I was denied Canadian visa this year and I hope this affect my chance with my son.
My wife is a teacher and also a make up artist who can't travel with me due to work commitments and several make up jobs on the weekend.
Just advice me on what you think as my son really wants to go as his eyes is always on Disney junior but I am thinking I stand a better chance alone.
Hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thanks |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Husband Should Not Be The Head Of The Wife by lonzo(m): 10:46pm On Oct 01, 2016 |
Hello rexben
The Husband being the head if God order for the Family
It's not evil in anyway.
God is the head of Christ Christ the head of the Man The Man The head of the Woman
That's just the divine order
The man is held accountable for the Family that's why it's a position of responsibility and service.
I understand some men has bastardised the system and made a mockery of women but that's not the case here. Being submissive doesn't mean the woman is a fool or a mat to step on. The man whose head is Christ never takes his woman for granted. |

Donnie
Thanks very much
The Message Christ preached was powerful from what they're used to. Sometimes I just wonder where all these stories about Christ Embassy generate but if I remember my Ephesians very well then I know spiritual wickedness dey plenty.
Donnie keep up the good work
God bless you. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Can Any Of You Christians In The House Explain Dis To Me By Opposing Dis Motion? by lonzo(m): 2:37pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
Let me assist you with Number 3
Christ wasn’t referring to the eye of a literal needle—that would be preposterous. Instead, He was talking about a narrow entrance into the city of Jerusalem, a gate known locally as “the eye of the needle.” This gate was so small that a camel could only be brought through with great difficulty, squeezed through on its knees—which depicts how we humbly need to come to the Lord.
That explanation can be quite compelling—after all, humility is necessary—as long as you don’t read the next two verses of Luke’s gospel: “They who heard it said, ‘Then who can be saved?’ But He said, ‘The things that are impossible with people are possible with God’” (Luke 18:26-27).
Christ’s words make the point of His illustration abundantly clear. He can’t mean that the rich man can only attain salvation through humility—getting a camel to stoop and squeeze through a narrow gate might be challenging, but it doesn’t require divine intervention. In context, His point is unmistakable: |

Huzzie: It's been awesome joining this wonderful thread since 2013 (part 5, i think). I just want to encourage everyone to keep hope high. My wife got her Spousal Open Wok Permit (SOWP) on Thursday and I thought this might lift someone's spirit out there. Applied for SOWP on December 7th with upfront medicals, after 3months of waiting, application was denied March 3rd based on two grounds. -Purpose of visit -Proof of
Re-applied March 7. Medicals passed& Passport request March 23th Passport submitted March 24th. TRV approved and dispatched March 29th. Picked up trv March 31St.
My one cent- if you were denied TRV, all things being equal ensure that the reasons for denial are addressed before Re-applying. How do I know this, because I was also denied TRV in my first application in 2013. Anyways, kudos to the peeps that have kept this forum going, keep the good work up.
Cheers Congrats Sir |

Stan658: stan658 ; Dec 16, Humber, PGC, online, medical passed, refusal just received this evening. Hello Stan. If I say understand how you feel that is a lie because I haven't been denied a visa before but if we talk about some disappointments then I can say I have been through some and come out more glorious. Just don't dwell much on it as it won't add or change the situation. Just request for your GCMS file study it and refire. Persevere and you sure will get your expected end.
