Webmasters / Etranzact Demo Webconnect Testing by lordNebu(m): 9:06pm On May 27, 2010
Hey guys i just got this ASAP job i had to do.And my aim was to integrate web payment using interswitch and etranzact. Now as for interswitch that is sorted out. For etranzact i have been successful to demo failed transactions. My question is, is there an Etranzact PIN or number i can use to simulate a successful payment . this feature is present on the Interswitch end as they provide u with dummy account to test ur site on.

A quick answer will be appreciated.
Programming / Re: Need To Get The Right Algorithm by lordNebu(m): 12:19am On Sep 16, 2009
@Poster, yeah we need alil info and also what language are u using , but language is irrelevant just the algorithm, u need a loop. a while loop would be lovely for this, if u talking an INFINITE/UNKNOWN number of courses, now all u need to do is write down ur pseudo code all on paper and i think if u take ur time u can figure out the proper way to write ur code, also i hope ur Array handling is good. cos u need to store the input data in an array , iterate thru the array and perform the necessary IF or switch statement on ur values,
Programming / Re: A Young Nigerian Software Developer Blast Indians by lordNebu(m): 1:39pm On May 15, 2009
Man how do u proof urself on a global level when u cant even start at home, If our guy is to actually go and proof himself then he will have to move outside by the time he sells his idea to the locals there, then he will come back home now as an outsider and start selling his idea to us as an outsider by then his HQ will be outside , this will lead to the same crude oil senario, drill crude oil at home but import petrol from outside, so man the guy not only him but we all suppose blast our banks, and home based firms, Leave the indians they need to be arround to make the competition more interesting, atleast the indians started somewhere (which is home) before coming to naija and climbing the global ladder

Computers / Re: Windows Vista Tweaks for Optimal System Performance by lordNebu(m): 12:00pm On Jul 17, 2008
Look guys never compare linux with the windows platform, so windows came into the game first well thats long time ago. I am a new linux convert anyway, i have used win, been frustrated by it, but the moment i switch to the linux environment i felt it is now am finally in control of the OS, Linux still has a long way to grow though but its really making quick progress in that direction.THe down side of linux is the interface not really as kool as win, but yet i sould give it a 80% pass mark, now the reasong for linux troubles is the varying standards, if the linux community can come together and layout some unique and common standards to which all flavors should try and support , we would now have better support and improved applications and performance, the challenge withthe linux envr is getting what u need, it has a large and diverse universe that u could easily get lost in in. but one rule of thumb when u talk about linux and win, if u are an everyday desktop user , u wanna do things like MSWORD,corel draw,MP3 music, and use lots of flashy softwares for gadgets then u talk windows, but if u are the geeky type wanna knu everything, like to knu how things work, take control of the system rather thatn the other way round then brothers and sisters LINUX rocks. But to tell u the truth there is much headache in linux than in windows, so friend i wont lie to u keep both, when linux gets tooo tech for u use good old brother win, apart from that leave both platforms alone, they trade different routes and philosophy,

Programming / Re: How Can I Practice Programming on My PC? by lordNebu(m): 6:12pm On Jan 14, 2007
well are u a yr 1 student, to start programming u need to remember this, COMPUTERs are the most stupid machines ever made by man, though they seem the smartest, but they lack common sense a 3 yr old has, afte this as sunk in , pick up a QBasic book and read it religiously till u get to file management then u can start combining other languages, in the process of learning try to talk to other programmers, read magazines and chat in good forums/chat rooms, make friends who share ur passion, then b4 u knu it u r up and running b4 u start learning the big stuffs like VB,C/C++,java etc, its not an easy journey but endure it it cld b lonely atimes but friend stay put, memorize this , "to b the master , walk with the master, learn from the master, think like the master then become the master,

sorry but java is actually a write once and run anyway language, its just that to run on different platforms u need to get the JRE(java runtime environment ) for that platform, java uses the virtual machine concept, so that is that, u sound like a web programmer or at most a c++ person, welll try writing a c++ prog in windows and run on a linux sys, my dear u will have to rewrite the whole code for it to tun on linux, ok am a new java convert and with java most concepts i tried to learn in c++ with no success are as easy as abc , java hasn't faileD.

GOD BLESS THE NAIRA,LONG LIVE THE JAVA COMMUNITY AND PEACE TO THE MIDDLE EAST, grin
