GracieX3: Most sharp republican politicians hate Trump. Just watch how they will turn on him if/when two things happen.
1. If Democrats gain majority in the house and senate. 2. When it is close to the end of his tenure in 2028
To those Republicans he is just a tool. Unfortunately the guy is a freaking loose canon that'll cost them dearly. I hope anyway, US politics is in a crazy place.
bemeruca: There is a legal distinction dummmmmmmmmy.
And this post just revealed you believe there are no differences.
Courts know which ones to use. They don't use it interchangeably in law.
It is why you posted a definition then delete it because it proves my point.
LoLz. By this it is clear you have no sense. I clearly state the NY state has a narrow definition which is what the jury used as a sign there are legal distinctions then you come on to say trash. Bwahahahahahaha!
bemeruca: No play semantics with me. You can imply something without saying it.
Go sleep with your L.
LoLz. You are the one playing semantics. You are saying the judgement didn't say sexual assault therefore he is not a sexual assaulter. Meanwhile the judge clarified that it was due to the narrow definition of New York State law when essentially Trump did sexually assault E Jean Carroll. But we know facts don't matter to empty barrels like you sexual assaulter defender. Bwahahahaha!
Meanwhile you simply cannot find where I claimed they are the same because I didn't.
LoLz! 3 posts in and you still can't articulate a single difference between sexual assault and sexual abuse. Thanks for showing how much of an empty barrel you are. Bwahahahaha!
You keep using apologist as a substitute for proof
not accepting your conclusion or bayelsaowei's from an accusation or a file dump is not defending abuse, it is refusing mob logic. Allegation is not conviction, and suspicion is not proof.
raumdeuter: Read this article from USA after McCain died
The Atlantic ran a pre-election cover story on McCain, but the cover photo was taken by celebrity photographer Jill Greenberg. It made McCain look like Emperor Palpatine’s older, less-attractive brother. This was not by accident, but by design. On her blog, Greenberg actually bragged about her dirty trick of getting him to stand above a strobe placed on the floor to make him look old and scary.
Obama surrogate Congressman John Lewis (D-Georgia) invoked Alabama racist George Wallace in talking about McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin. Jonathan Martin noted in Politico that McCain was being called racist without basis, simply because it was helpful to the Democrats. The Nation weighed in on McCain’s wartime use of the term "gook" as evidence of his racism.
Then-famous music star Madonna opened her concert tour by calling McCain Hitler and encouraging people to vote for Obama. And the popular Democratic blog DailyKos, not to be outdone, published a comparison of McCain to both Hitler and Stalin.
And, of course, the treatment was repeated with a different target in 2012, when Mitt Romney was given the same Hitler treatment. It’s as if every Republican who is in power, or who might be, is Hitler — but only as a temporary condition. (I’m old enough to remember when George W. Bush was Hitler). As soon as a new Republican target appears, the old Hitler gets rehabilitated, and even employed, by way of comparison, as a way to criticize the new one.
What’s all this about? It’s certainly not about civility, or decency, or bipartisanship. As David French wrote: “The contrast between the outpouring of love for McCain in his last days and the astonishing vitriol directed at him in 2000 and 2008 demonstrates once again how disingenuous, low, and cheap American politics were well before Trump came on the scene.”
And at this point, I suspect the voters are onto the game.
Here’s the statement Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued on Oct. 11:
"Senator Obama does not believe that John McCain or his policy criticism is in any way comparable to George Wallace or his segregationist policies. But John Lewis was right to condemn some of the hateful rhetoric that John McCain himself personally rebuked just last night, as well as the baseless and profoundly irresponsible charges from his own running mate that the Democratic nominee for President of the United States ‘pals around with terrorists.’
And Lewis later reacted like this:
Lewis later said he could have phrased his words differently, because he didn’t want to relate McCain and Palin directly to Wallace’s tactics. But he said he accomplished his goal of highlighting the dangerous tone of the rallies.
basilico: I don't think conservatives are saints if I must add to make you happy. Some are devils, but my theory is that liberals are inherently more evil, asinine and irrational.
I doubt you'd get a liberal who reaches the level of irrationality, idiocy and evil Trump displays. Yet you are in full support still so you are not a reliable judge of what is irrational, asinine or evil.
Seahawk: He said he thought it depicted him as a doctor.
Either he doesn’t see because his eyes don’t work.
Or he’s never even seen a picture of Jesus Christ before (wouldn’t surprise me) but somehow he managed to conveniently use it to hoodwink them into believing he’s a Christian.
Or (most likely) he knows they’re stupid and will lap up any excuse he comes up with.
Case in point. See it’s already happening on this thread
The depths they sink to to defend the nonsense is mind boggling. Within a year they went from no new wars to war is good. Trump replacing Jesus Christ is just about right because I bet that's what has happened in their minds.
DeepSight: + Well, I dunno about your choice to spend time "bashing liberals" but I sure know that no one can ever comprehend God. And attempting too aggressively to do so can lead one towards madness.
As an aside, since you mention "bashing liberals" I think its good to keep in mind the fact that the world is not black and white - not liberal and conservative - rather it is infinite shades and blends of all things.
That is a big ask for someone like basilico. Nuance flies over their head like supersonic jets.
