You see, I tell my friends all the time that Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. They and their leaders are made of the same stuff. The only difference is, one is aided by position, the other is not. But one thing is clear; they have a reputation for robbing one another and blaming someone else for it.
During the heat of Covid-19, America lost so many people in huge numbers. They had few ventilators available for the population of the sick. People started making DIY ventilators at home, aided by guidelines from medical experts. They soon got excess ventilators afterwards that they began giving them out to other countries. These were Americans, not the government.
Here in Nigeria, people started making DIY hand sanitizers and trippled the price to rip their brothers off, while they blame the lockdown for the surge in price. Facemasks too, the same. Their leaders on the other hand were hoarding palliatives meant for the public. In developed countries, citizens are busy trying to proffer solutions in their capacity, moved by a great sense of responsibility. In Nigeria, we have great opportunists, looking for the next economic or social 'misfortune', to make profits from, robbing themselves and blaming the government as an excuse.
My woman told the girl running her POS business to pad her prices. 'Whatever amount they withdraw, take out one zero, and that will be your charges.'
I got so furious and told her to lock up the shop if she won't maintain her usual charges. It caused a serious quarrel between us yesterday. Thank God she brought the machines back home and has been frowning since morning.
I know for sure that she would still make her gains if she didn't scale up her charges, but will cause more pains to people if she does, further worsening the situation on ground. That is what Nigeria is all about; profit at the expense of someone else's well being.

When you hear some discombobulated Tinubu urchins brag about Lagos state and how Tinubu developed Lagos or how Lagos is the only progressive state in Nigeria, that other state Governors are sleeping, please remind them that Nigerian government since the end of civil war in 1970 made sure the entire Southeast and Southsouth states are shortchanged and prevented from having access to full developmental projects through federal government policies.



We have been saying this for years now but they always brush it aside, but 2023 is revealing many hidden secrets about Nigeria and why it seems only Lagos state is working in Nigeria yet some naive Yoruba boys of yesterday will be bragging about Lagos being the most developed state in Nigeria after Nigeria's federal government used preferential treatment to concentrate developmental projects in Lagos.



Calabar and Portharcourt have seaports yet its not functioning to full capacity, why? Because Hausa-fulani controlled Nigeria's federal government in alliance with Yorubas don't want it to function so that Southsouth and Southeast will not witness massive development that will make those regions the most developed regions, which will also reduce economic activities in Lagos because most Igbo importers will abandon Lagos seaport for Calabar and Portharcourt seaports should they resume full operation.



They always lie that it is costlier to ship to Portharcourt or Calabar seaports from outside Nigeria but as an importer that I am, I want to tell you that they are lying. Ocean liners or let me say shipping lines charge lesser to Portharcourt seaport than Apapa, but the cost of clearing your goods out from Nigerian customs in Portharcourt or Calabar will be almost times 2 of the cost in Apapa, so that is why Importers still use Lagos port.




They keep telling you about Lekki Deep Seaport Tinubu and Lagos state built but listen how Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel destroyed their propaganda.



They hate to see developments go to Southeast or Southsouth, they want all development to be in Lagos, they use Federal government policies to deprive Southeast and Southsouth developmental projects and then they will turnaround and claim Lagos is the only progressive state after sabotaging other regions.



Udom Emmanuel said he has been applying to APC federal government for a license to build a Deep Seaport in Akwa Ibom but they refused to attend to him because they hate development in Southeast and Southsouth but when Lagos applied they quickly granted them and after building it today they are using it to brag.


Governor Udom said even when he uses Akwa Ibom money to buy plane to operate Ibom air, that APC federal government finds it very difficult to issue him license to operate the plane in Nigeria. Can you all see how they have been sabotaging Southsouth and Southeast developments yet they will be telling Igbos and Niger Delta people to go back to their states as their Lord and Master Tinubu has been going about mocking Igbo politicians and Niger Delta politicians for coming to live in Lagos state built with Nigerian peoples commonwealth and favored specially by the federal government of many decades?




Go to Lagos and see how federal government gave Lagos state approval to be destroying Federal government roads in Lagos to construct state BRT lanes, this will never be granted to any state in Southeast or Southsouth yet some mumu Niger Delta boys keep following them foolishly.
