Oh, if only things were this simple.

Your problem is you look at things in terms of black and white, right and wrong. In my experience, things are often shades of grey. Your right might be some else's left. Your own interpretation of moral principles, a bigotry to another. Your concept of honesty, a dishonesty to someone else. I can go on and on...

If you don't respect transgender's names and pronouns, then they are under no obligation to respect yours. It goes both ways. A person is the owner of their own body, the ultimate decision maker of their lives. Who are you to say otherwise?
Insisting that people should ignore facts and take a position based on how you feel is abuse. It's an irrational request and should be treated with negligence, and some things in life are really simple and can be seen from a lens of black and white, there really is absolute right and absolute wrong.

Now I agree with your final point - a person is the owner of their own body, the ultimate decision maker of their lives, but that doesn't grant them imuninty from scrutiny and criticism when they make stupid decisions otherwise a suicide bomber can be justified in the sense that they blow up their own body, it's their body, they made that decision to blow it up themselves or that an obesed person should not be advised to loose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle. Tell me, since you are so morally neutral, why is it okay to convict an adult who engaged in sexual conduct with a minor of rape regardless of whether the said minor gave their consent? What's wrong is wrong.

People ought to respect the words people use to describe themselves. HE identifies as a male, even if he was physiologically female. It's within his right as a human being to be respected. Live and let live.
It's also every persons civil obligation to be honest and factual, and as much as this person supposedly has the right to identify as anything they like regardless of biological and circumstantial evidence pointing to the obvious, it's also the right of everyone else to not be opposed for calling a spade a spade. A woman does not become a man simply by wishing it. People like this are just struggling with reality.

I'm convinced the anchor was completely clueless. From his hilarious questions, it's apparent he geniunely wanted to satiate his curiosity. He even defended the activist at one point, if I recall. grin

The pastor on the other hand, was clearly out for blood. I chuckled when he started bringing out vegetables from his bag. The man was hilariously devoid of any self-awareness. He's the sort of person you wouldn't want to engage in a stupid debate, cuz he's liable to drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience. grin

Pepe on his part kept giving the anchor and pastor ammunitions to come at him. He set himself up with the human rights defender bit. I mean, H (for heterosexuals) ought to be in LGBTI, since by his own words, he's not limited to gays and transgenders alone, no? The anchor asked a valid question, IMO. He didn't do himself and the LGBTQI community any favors by being so unprepared. The Anchor and pastor questions ridiculed him to no end, and even though I sympathized, the interview was too damn funny. grin
First of all, that was a woman parading herself as a man and she had herself to blame for not coming prepared- as you said. The interview itself was mediocre, unprofessional and hilarious.

WTF did I just watch?!?

"Why are you gay?"
"Who says I'm gay?
"You are gay. You are a transgender"
"What shows that I'm gay?"
"You're a transgender, and a gay rights activist, and an outspoken... er... er... lesbian? Homosexual? How can I describe you?"
"[silence]"
"Why should someone be gay? Do you have a girlfriend?
"Yes"
"Do you perform the natural obligation?"
"Er... [nervous laughter]. I'm not sexually active right now. By choice... I've chosen not to engage"
"Doesn't that make you gay?"
"What do you mean by doesn't that make me gay? I am male, attracted to a female..."
"So who is gay?"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"Why don't you fight for heterosexuals"
"What do you mean?"
"Heterosexuals"
"What do you mean... fight for heterosexuals?"
"...for their rights, yes, for their rights"
"I am a human rights defender, I am not limited..."
"You're sodomite, sodomite defender"
"I'm not limited, hmm, I am not limited"
"L... G... B... T... 1. Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trangender, and Intersexuals...
"Let me tell you something..."
"Where is the H?"

My God you just transcribed the best moments of the interview, imagine an interview starting with such question... grin

"As I'm hear now my family support's me, so I'm here"
"Do they support a disorder?" grin

You make it sound as if everyone in the west is really tolerant to LGBT, there are westerners who still consider them as delusioned degenerates and many among those who appear to be on their side are just there for the pr or are just being cautious of the sjw(s).

Not being tolerant to homosexuals is not an African thing.

Snatch 7/10

Quite convoluted and inundating with rapid fire editing and a kinetic mode, one might need to see twice to fully enjoy. And for people with ridiculous high taste, they might find this picture lacking in substance.

That aside, this is a good movie with an assortment of characters and stories that intertwine with each other. I especially noted how the plot is mostly driving by chance, and how the characters are well played.

In the silent words of the Virgin Mary, this was a good watch, and hilarious too. grin

Lolz. I felt so sorry for the poor guards. It's just cruel, man. I mean, how can someone blurt out joke names like Biggus Dickus and Incontinentia Buttocks, and expect a full blooded man not to laugh. The face on the guy by the left when Pontius said "He has a wife, you know", was like "Oh God, I'm so fucked_. They were trying so hard to suppress their amusement, but man, sometimes you just have to succumb to the inevitable.

It's my 2nd fav of Monty Python's satirical films, but I love their TV show, "Only Fools and Horses" even better. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do. You're in for a treat.
God you are a good man, I will definitely see those pictures.

Just having a discussion about the movie is as funny as seeing the movie itself, I don't think I can get enough of it. I want to show everyone I know this movie.

After the Biggus Dickus scene, what scene would you say is your next favourite?

So ridiculously hilarious it begs the question as to why anyone wouldnt find it funny. If I were God I would have laughed myself out of heaven while watching this, and regret that I regretted making man for it is man that has done this outrageous comedy. grin infact this might just be the reason why Armageddon is on delay, God might just still be laughing his ass out, grin

That Biggus Dickus scene... cheesy cheesy Jesus Christ, I'm laughing writing about it now, those guards must be masters at suppressing laughter because I would have burst out on pillate quite uncontrollably.

Dear koicereloaded I hereby knight you, rise oh Biggus Dickus, a knight of the People's Front of Judea, and I hand you the maiden ishilove whom shall from this day be called incontinentia buttocks, and you shall lay with her from this until your last day. Amenus.

Batman and batman returns wwere very successful movies in the late 80s to early 90s.

Statements like that (in bold) betray a lot of information......
I referred to the character compadre not the motion pictures. In all my encounter with the nocturnal hero prior to the dark Knight trilogy I never fancied him one bit, I could list a very extended list of heroes and even villains I would choose before him.

I'm not saying he isn't a great hero or his movies weren't good, I just didn't like him (like the way some people don't like Jesus Christ). Now TDK gave me a new perspective on the character and I have come to Revere him.

Now statements like that (in bold) implies a lot.

The Dark Knight trilogy has some of the most grounded, realistic, and relatable villains in the history of superhero movies. Their ideologies ain't that batshit when you think about it.

- Ra's al Ghul
- Joker
- Bane
- Harvey Dent
- Scarecrow

https://comicvine1.cbsistatic.com/uploads/original/11113/111131285/5747495-2841782812-Batma.jpg

All human beings, with no special powers or attributes, that had had to rely on their intelligence, will. perseverance and cunning to bring Gotham to her knees at some point, with Joker and Bane being the ones to create the most havoc. We need more villains like these, villains we can all relate to.
I never liked the batman character until I saw this trilogy, a lot of points can be taken from these movies, but my favorites are how the opening scenes of each movie introduces the Batman, the joker and bane respectively. It was something of an art.
