Airplane 1980 8/10 In this movie an autopilot received a Mouth Gig from a hot air stewardess  comprised of gags, slapstick humour and often silly dialogues, this movie earns a place in my catalog of funny films (although I fear the humour might be lost on many people).When the pilot, co-pilot and navigator of an airplane along with some Passengers collapse due to food poisoning, you know trouble is eminent, but not on this movie, because everything just turns into a giant laughter fest.  2 Likes |

Toy story 4 **** 8/10 The adventure of the toys have become quite cliche and the story somewhat repetitive, but fvck all that, the makers still found a way to introduce something fresh. I'm a grown ass adult and this story about toys still find a way to stir deep emotions in me. 1 Like |

KoiceReloaded:I can't ever forget that movie, it's the only film I watched as a kid which I still remember most scenes vividly, the combats were nuts and like you said "on steroids".  I recall as kids, after watching the movie, me and my younger brother would pluck paw paw stems and reenact that scene were the brothers ran towards each other, their swords scrapping against the floor and causing sparkles and when they clashed mid air with their swords - they both shattered. it was a thing of joy for us back then. 2 Likes |

Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 I was putting off watching this Quentin Tarantino movie because it was a martial art movie and martial movies have worn out on me thanks to all those ludicrous Chinese movies while growing with their overbearing action and sound effects  The man QT is genius story teller and his movies never fail to entertain, encapsulate and capture me. The expository dialogue, the non chronological order in which things unfold, the way he integrates music into his scenes and the ever satisfying conclusion to events is a skill he utilizes well. This movie reminded me of my two all time favourite Chinese movies. Iron monkey and twin warriors. |
